Chapters 13. Paid Cash

The light blue wall became a silent witness, the curtain of the living room waving due to the wind from the direction of the door, strands of which hit the surface of the face of the old sir.

The haughty face that had laughed at the scene of the braking was sudden deathly. The old man stepped back after realizing the man in front of him was not an easy opponent to get rid of.

Rey came closer, making the old man keep the body until the wall divider. His body seemed to tremble, looking at the vile aura Kak Rey showed him.

"No, don't hurt me!" He suddenly apologized. His body slumped to the floor, hiding the trembling on his stocky body and distended stomach.

Rey didn't say much, she kept moving forward towards the old man. His expression was flat, but his eyes were sharp and full of threat.

"I apologize to them!" He ruled with hardship.

"But he promised to marry me." The old man reasoned. "They can't afford the debt as promised. But, that stupid girl tried to trick me with the intention of running away the day before the wedding." He directed his gaze towards Rindi who was still crying hugging her two younger siblings.

"Debit?" Rey sis glanced at Rindi and it obviously made Rindi ashamed. The girl lowered her head, not daring to look at Rey's sister or me. Perhaps, Rindi thought we were blaming her decision for not keeping the promise to the old man.

"Yes, he owes twenty million to his mother's operating expenses, but until now it has not been repaid. Still good I got married, how about I report it to the police."

The old man was acting arrogant. I don't like it much more. Only twenty million dollars to force a girl to be his wife. I don't know how many wives. Even though the age is old, it should be in the remaining age used to get closer to the Powerful One, but he instead sought trouble by forcing young girls to marry. Truly a shameless old man.

"That's all?" Rey's forehead frowned.

"He didn't pay the interest either. If the total could exceed fifty million." The old man explained. "She's lucky because I want to marry her."

Immediately I round my eyes with my mouth open. How can the value of interest be greater than the amount borrowed.

"Thank you?" Rey smiled mockingly. "Are you not aware of your age as more suitable as his grandfather? As a parent you're really shameless!"

Rey pushed Old Man with her right hand. Although the Old Man was stocky, but only with a little encouragement the man whose hair looked black because the hair polish was toppled backwards.

"I didn't hurt you just out of respect for your old age." Rey reached into her cell phone from her pants pocket, then said, "How many accounts are you. I'll pay it off."

Sontak Rindi who had been down earlier held her head in shame to raise her face, looking at Kak Rey with a look of disbelief. He turned to look at me who was standing a little far beside Sister Rey, as if asking who the man that came with me was. I just responded with a headband.

"You're paying off all the debts?" ask the Old Man with sparkling eyes and a look of disbelief.

Old Man nodded in agreement, then mentioned a row of account numbers complete with nominal debt to be paid.

"It's over!" said Kak Rey while showing the screen of his phone in front of the face of the Old Man where the proof of transfer has been successfully done.

The man who had many wrinkles on his face was smiling happily. Then, he moved from his position to stand up.

"Finally, my money's back. Already, just take him! I don't care anymore." Old Man breezed away by passing Rey's sister. However, no time has Old Man reached the doorstep, Rey called him.

"Wait, you left something!"

He stopped and followed Rey who stepped towards him. Unsuspecting, Old Man turned his head with a face that looked increasingly beautiful. And just then a hard blow landed on the old man's jawbone.

He screamed, moaning in pain, feeling his teeth broken from the impact. "You are so brave ...."

"That's your first lesson for abusing her." Rey tidied up her shirt that had tangled. "Your second lesson is coming soon" he added so casually.

"What?"

Within seconds, we heard a screaming sound that shocked all of us, except Rey. He just kept quiet while confirming his hair. The man is totally unpredictable.

I found out by bending my face in front of Rindi's house. And there's been a line of cops with guns in hand.

Did Rey call them?

Several officers entered, holding large men who had been paralyzed by Kak Rey. They are still alive, only injured in certain parts that are not too fatal. While the Old Man was blocked with both hands pointed backwards. But who would have thought, before the police put iron bracelets on the old man's hands, the almost desperate man snatched the weapon the young policeman had placed on the holster of a pistol placed on his waist.

So fast it turned out to be moving, that the trigger was pulled and threw a bullet towards the front.

The sound of ammunition slashing sounded deafening, buzzing echoed in the room. All eyes were shocked. I was not less shocked by what happened. The world stopped turning. The loud voice that had been heard from earlier was now suddenly silent. Just this time I saw the shooting in plain sight and it made my body tremble in fear.

Over there. Yes, there Rey .. was shot right in front of my eyes with fresh blood coming out from behind her white shirt.
