"Really?"
"Heem." He muttered. His forehead was already fused with my forehead. Why just "heem? I want him to say more than that.
"Say it again! I want to hear it."
"No way."
"Come, Brother! I want to hear it."
"Heem." His lips thinned, forming a smile. "What would I get if I said that?"
I snorted, he came back acting annoying. "Why never be sincere, anyway?" My forehead shriveled, then said, "Keep away! I'm going to sleep."
"Hey, don't sleep! We're not done yet." Rey patted me on the cheek.
"Of course, I'm not interested."
He chuckled, then kissed my face in succession, making me blush again. "I love you, Alea. Did you hear it?"
"Say again! Again and again. Say it over and over again" I pleaded. I'm not satisfied if Rey only says it once. I want to hear it and keep going.
And at that moment Rey said to me, declaring her love over and over again while leading me to go back to having an exciting hot night.
"Sir Rey, I love you too."
"has known. From the beginning I knew you loved me" he said, not surprised by my confession.
"Well, why are you such a bitch."
"Because it sucks, so you always miss me."
Whahuh? Maybe it's like that. A strange relationship. Rey rarely speaks sweetly, often irritating me. However, a little bit of debate between me and him made me miss him all the time. Yes, I want to always be with him and accompany him until we age.
How does he feel about Rena? I don't know! I don't want to think about that. For now I want to enjoy my happiness with him.

"Geez, Rey, what are you doing to me?"
I looked at my reflection in the mirror. There are so many traces of romance that Rey left on my neck. What if someone sees it?
"Indeed why? It's not natural for a husband and wife to do that."
I looked at him with annoyance. It's so relaxing he is. My face has been red since. He was too ferocious to leave this much mark on my body.
I wanted to scold him, but my eyes were distracted by the appearance of Kak Rey who only wore a slim fit dark blue shirt with a low v neck cut so that her body shape was proportional. Today, he is on holiday to work so he prefers to wear casual clothes. But that's not what concerns me. Rey shamelessly let the red mark on her body and neck be seen without any intention of covering it.
"Sister, look at you! Don't wear it, just change the shirt."
He stepped closer to the mirror, paying attention to what I meant. Then, his style acted rather surprised.
"Enak. You told me to. Don't blame me!" I defended myself. That's the truth.
"Hemm, is that it?" His eyebrows shot up next, then said, "I only asked you once, but you did it many times instead. That means you're delicacy."
"Sir Rey!"
Oh gosh. He can always embarrass me. I covered her mouth with my palm, stopping the next sentence that might come out of her lips. Rey always has been. Very clever of him to corner me.
We also got down from the room. I forced Rey to apply foundation to disguise the mark on her neck. It takes a struggle to do that. The stubborn Rey sister had to be persuaded and wooed until she was really willing to budge and let me help disguise the mark. I threatened him to no longer serve him if he did not comply. Don't let her parents know. I'm getting embarrassed later.
We sat in a circle with me next to Rey and right in front of Aunt Salwa. As usual, we wives ate on our husbands' plates. For a moment, I felt like I had a happy family. The perfect family. A good husband, a child who will soon be born, and parents who love each other. So perfect my life.
"Alea, are you going to help make a cake?" Aunt Salwa asked after finishing her meal.
"Ehm, yes, Tan. There are no activities at home. I'd love to learn how to make a cake for aunty."
"Why still call Auntie? You're a mother's child now."
I smiled, then nodded. "Yes, Tan, uh, Bun."
We laughed. Rey's sister was just a little smile held back. However, it looks different to my father-in-law. He seemed to be silent by continuing to eat. I thought to myself, how can a calm Mother conquer such a cold person?
Just as we were all finishing our breakfast, an incoming call was heard on Kak Rey's phone. Without moving from his seat, the man answered the call.
Right then, the look in his eyes sharpened. I see tension there. Then, he turned to look at me. Soon, he ended the call.
"Alea, we have to go."
I'm still confused by what Rey said. The man hurriedly asked his parents for permission. I who knew nothing could only obey him when the man grabbed my arm to get out of the house.
He was still silent when we got into the car. I still dare not ask anything, afraid if it interferes with his concentration in driving.
The aura of tension was clearly visible on her face, until I felt her left hand cupping my hand that I had placed on my thigh. He squeezed, then slipped his big fingers between my fingers. I looked at him, but he said nothing.
Our position is still the same. Rey's sister was driving, while I was just flinching in a place where I didn't dare to do anything. I just kept quiet like a fool, waiting for him to open his voice. I know there's a precarious thing to see from how Kak Rey's expression is right now so I prefer to wait.
About thirty minutes of travel accompanied only by silence and tension from the look on Kak Rey's face, and not forgetting the expression of confusion from me, we finally arrived at a Pelita Harapan hospital.
But, wait? The infirmary? Who is sick? Until I couldn't help but ask him. "Sir Rey, what's going on? Who's sick?"
A heavy sigh rang out from the man's lips, then he looked at me and tightened the braid of the hand that he had not yet removed from my finger.
"Alea, Diana attempted suicide last night."
"What?"
I was so shocked to hear it. How did that happen?
Rey continued her sentence. "He cut his own pulse with a knife. The officer did not know how he could find such a sharp object in his room. They're investigating the matter. And right now, he's in a critical state." Rey's palm rubbed my head. "You're patient, huh? I'm sure he'll survive. He has a great love for you."
