Tarnished Before Accident

Tarnished Before Accident
Chapter 51. Mama

In the room, I was presented with a sad sight that I could not see. Heavy burdens and all the things associated with the despair of a woman are clearly reflected in helplessness. My eyes didn't even look away from there, the figure of a woman whose face was very similar to mine.

My shoulder was squeezed by Brother Rey, as if strengthening me at this moment.

"Ma-ma!" Without asking much, I could already confirm if she was really my mama. My eyes, nose, and lips were very similar to mine even though the woman in front of me looked unkempt.

The woman hugged the doll, carried it like a baby. Why is Mom like this? What the hell is going on?

I took a step forward, trying to approach the middle-aged woman with a dirty body and shabby clothes. However, he immediately ran away from me.

"Don't come any closer! Don't take my son!" He screamed at me. His eyes bulged as if beckoning me not to disturb him. Not only that, he grabbed the things around him to throw at me.

"Go! Just go! Go!"

I was almost hit by the toss of the urn and vase if Rey did not protect by limiting her body while hugging me.

"Calm him!" Rey's brother ruled to his men who immediately responded swiftly without asking much. He was pushing me to get out of there without letting me see my mother's condition, who was heard screaming for help.

That scream made me not feel happy. I wanted to go back and help her, but Rey didn't allow it. He kept holding me back from leaving the place immediately.

I stood by gripping the balcony terrace fence of the room, staring blankly from above here the buildings below. This has become my habit at night, when my heart is in turmoil and a lot of burden on my mind. Standing here aloof, letting the murmur of the night wind stand up for me.

The memory of how miserable my mother's fate made my heart wretched. What the hell is going on? Why did my mom go crazy? How did I end up with the Hinata family? All of those questions were completely curled up and crowded in my mind.

Until a voice made me distract myself for a moment, breaking the mind that had been my burden ever since.

"Hi!"

I'm turning. Rey stood beside me, positioning herself just as I did.

"Heem." I can't hide my sadness.

I still couldn't accept the reality even though Mrs Hinata had told me that my mother was crazy. I'm still devastated by the fact that a mother I've been waiting for apparently doesn't recognize me. Even exposed to mental disorders, attacking anyone who wants to approach him.

"I told people to investigate Ms. Narti's house. They're looking for the identity of the woman who disappeared while being invited to work at Hinata's residence." His hazel eyes showed a look of worry to me. "Alea, even though I haven't done a DNA matching test, but from the blood type test, your blood golongam are the same. But, I'll do further investigation to make sure everything's right."

I looked at Rey who seemed to be hiding something from me.

"What do you know? Tell me! What's the matter exactly?"

Both of Rey's hands squeezed my shoulders, looking at me with full glances. "There is a thread of red that is difficult to decipher between you, Diana, and the late Lord Hinata. There's one key that can explain all this, which is your mother and Lady Hinata."

"You mean Rey?"

He let out a long sigh before finally saying, "Give it all to me. It's already night. We'd better get some sleep."

I'm nodding. Although many questions are shackling my head, but Rey is right if the day is very late. Rey put her hand on my shoulder, leading me into the room. Oh, yeah, we've slept one room. No longer separated. My new habit is always to ask Rey to rub my stomach until I fall asleep. He never refused, even saying he was always looking forward to the night so he could stroke my stomach to the fullest.

Is Rey in love with me? I don't know. He never told me his feelings. But, whatever it is, every treatment has made me comfortable and happy. Hopefully one day Kak Rey's affection for me can be overgrown with seeds of love like what I currently feel.

"Let me just." He was wearing a dark brown apron, rolling his shirt around on his elbow before snatching a spatula from me.

"Sir Rey can cook?" I doubt a little. I never saw him cook.

"You underestimated me?" He glanced at me with a slight smile. His jaw was firm, the big arm muscles behind the long shirt that covered him, the man looked very charming in my eyes. No, it's more sexy. I was fascinated by his aura.

His hands deftly took the onion, garlic, and chili. Then, with a flexible movement, Rey cut all that quickly. In fact, the result of the cut is very fitting and so precise.

My mouth gaped as I watched Kak Rey's skills I'd never seen before.

"Hi, don't let your saliva drip there!" Again he teased me. I hurriedly closed my mouth, rubbing lips that had no traces of saliva at all. Immediately I hit Kak Rey's arm and avenged a small naughtiness from her. "I know I'm handsome. But, don't think so. I'm afraid I can't control myself."

My eyes twirled lazily. He always admired himself. Where ever he praised me. He is the one who prides himself in front of me all the time. "Can't control myself not to insult me. You're a bitch, yeah, long time." I'm thieving.

"Not." Rey put the knife on the plate, then looked at me without turning back. "I'm afraid I can't control myself not to cover your mouth with a kiss."

His words always make my face blush. He's very good at bragging. "It has. Come on, finish the cooking! I can't wait to taste my husband's cooking."

Rey's sister put her shoulders down, acting arrogant. "You will be addicted later" he said by continuing to cook dishes that have been cut into pieces.

***

Everything is on the table. Rey was able to make a lot of cooking in a relatively shorter time. There is capcay, chicken butter sauce, and vegetable salad. I don't know if she's good at cooking.

"Come, please taste!" he said after getting me some menus on one plate.

Usually I serve him, but this time it's Rey who's taking food for me. "Thank you" I said sincerely.

I can't hide how much I want to be treated this special. From childhood to adulthood, I have always served. Rena says she loves me, but she often tells me to clean up her toys, prepare school supplies before she goes to bed at night. In fact, I did not realize the word unfortunately was more so that I was reluctant to refuse his orders.

But right now, Rey is doing something different to me. He served me without asking. I unconsciously shed tears that apparently did not escape the attention of Rey.

"Hey, why are you crying?" She wiped away the tears that had dripped down both of my cheeks in turn.

I'm shaking. "none. You are so sweet. I'm eating, huh?" I said later.

I can see if Brother Rey is looking at me until now. I tried to act normal, starting to feed the food into my mouth. As soon as the food had reached my mouth, my eyes rounded instantly feeling something strange about the taste of the cuisine.

"Hows it? Yummy?" tanyanya enthusiastic.

I grimaced, hesitating.

Kak Rey's cuisine .. is very salty.
