Tarnished Before Accident

Tarnished Before Accident
Chapter 58. Mystery Gift

Not willing to waste any time, after putting spaghetti on the plate, we rushed to the hospital. Rey didn't tell anyone else to take the DNA test. According to him, the results of the test are very important for the need for further investigation.

Now the piece of paper is in my hand. I directed my gaze to Brother Rey after checking the contents. I ... am Diana's real son.

A hug I got, my eyes glazed over. Sad is happy too.

I who previously thought only one kara living in this world turned out to still have a family. I thought I was an unwanted child, and was picked up by the Hinata family for being merciful. But it turns out that's not true. My real mom loves me.

I feel sad because we met when Mama's condition slumped. In fact, he almost lost his life if the foundation officers did not help him immediately. If it were too late, I might lose my mom forever.

"Sister Rey, save Mama" I muttered in his arms.

I felt my forehead being smitten by it. Then, his lips whispered softly. "He'll be fine."

Like what Rey said, I was forbidden to visit Mama without being accompanied by her. Though I was eager to take care of him, to pour out my love as a child so that he would feel cared for. I couldn't bear to see her carrying a doll everywhere. Mama would want to see her real son.

"Mama is dead. He'll undergo hypnotherapy after his body is healthy." Rey's sister told me about the information regarding Mama's development.

Every day, even every development, Rey always informs me of my origin according not to find it. He said that Mama could not be met by unknown people. Even though I was her biological child, Mama had never seen me. He doesn't know me.

It could be that my presence just disturbs his calm, making the woman who has given birth to me was terrified. Even more fatal, Mama can attack me like that time. I have to be more patient, help her little by little so that Mama can recognize me, and be healthy again both soul and body. My hope is that we can get together and live happily, taking care of that woman in her old age.

Lucky anxiety in waiting for the development of Mama diverted to my new activities. I help Mother Salwa in running her small business, which is making cakes. I learned a lot from him. He was not at all stingy in sharing knowledge so I easily absorbed the various things taught by him.

The cakes made are tar and cup cake. Mommy started making cakes when Rey was a kid. He said that Rey always whines for cup cake every time they come out. Cup cake purchased is only a certain cup cake.

Until when the cup cake seller's uncle died, Kak Rey did not want to eat all day. Bought another cup cake, Rey did not want to.

"Mother began learning to make cup cake at that time. Rey likes to help, oh, no. Not helping, but pestering Mother." He laughs. His eyes narrowed with fine strokes visible there. The face of Mother Salwa looks very friendly.

"It must be very funny. Is there a picture of Rey as a child?"

"Heem, ada. Try taking it on the middle shelf. There's a photo album of Rey as a baby to adulthood." Mother Salwa pointed to a sideboard in the middle room.

I nodded, then said, "Can I borrow it? I want to see it."

"Sure, take it!"

After Kak Rey's parents' house, I was escorted by the driver to return home. Some cup cake that I made with Mother Salwa I brought home. There's a cup cake I made for Rey. Black sticky cake cup with premium soft cream butter toping.

Bunda Salwa is always looking for products that have halal labels. Although Bunda Salwa customers from various circles and adhere to different beliefs, but he still uses halal products.

Earlier, I contacted Rey, asking her what time she would be home. It didn't seem like it was too late, as he promised to have dinner at home.

I put the cup cake into the showcase, then rushed to prepare dinner for Rey's sister.

As promised, the sound of the door being knocked from the outside. I hurriedly opened it and there Rey was already standing there holding her briefcase.

I welcomed her like a married couple in general. Kissing the back of her hand while taking over Kak Rey's briefcase.

"What cooking? I was very hungry" he said, staring at the kitchen.

"Heem, take a shower. Rey stinks." My hand slightly pushed him to immediately go up to where our room was. But instead of going up, he flanked my head under his armpits.

"Ih, Brother Rey. Odors. Go, take a shower!" I tried to escape. He always mistreated me.

"Emm, even though every night you always sniff this part," he said, pointing under the armpits.

Oh, my God, he really embarrassed me. "I'm not like that. Don't make it up!" I thawed after I slipped out of his arms. "Quick shower! After this we eat. I'm hungry too."

"okay!" He finally no longer argued with me.

It seems like Rey didn't want to see me for too long withholding hunger and not wanting to waste too much time by stopping our little argument. I shook my head looking at that upright back who was stepping up the stairs with a quick movement towards the room. She's very sweet, isn't she?

At first I served the cup cake as a dessert after dinner, but Rey asked me to take her to the balcony of the room to accompany us to have a chat at night.

We haven't spent a lot of nights joking around there. In fact, before we express each other's feelings, chatting together on the balcony has become our routine.

When I took her to the balcony to enjoy the night, she always refused.

"What to talk about on the balcony, a waste of time. Mending just straight to the point, which is to play in bed."

I don't know, his mind is not far from the bed. But tonight is different. He wanted to talk casually with two cups of tea and cup cake accompanying us while looking at the night sky.

"What have you learned from Mother?" Rey took a sip of tea while staring at me. "Don't tell me you just messed up there."

"Emm, don't underestimate me. This was me doing it myself." I raised the cup cake that I made specifically for Rey. Bunda Salwa said that Kak Rey likes cup cake made from black sticky rice. Rey's taste is weird, isn't it? "It's for you."

He smiled, taking the cup cake from my hand. "Thank you" he said. "You must have talked to me."

"No." I'm laughing a little. "I intentionally asked. Because I want to know a lot about you."

The cup cake was eaten by him. I noticed the twitching of his lips as he chewed the little cake and ended up being swallowed by it. "Lumayan, not bad," he said.

"just that? How's worth?" I'm waiting for a response from him.

He seemed to think, setting his gaze upwards. Then say, "Six."

"Sir Rey!" It sucks him. Praise me just once!

He chuckled, rubbing my head. "The value will be ten if you want to wear a gift from me."

"Gift?" I looked at him confused. "What gift?"

"There's on the bed. Try that! I want to see the size fit or not." He seemed to be hiding a stifled smile. I'm getting suspicious of it.

"Shirt?" my guess.

"Look at it yourself. Wear it! I'm waiting here." He rules without regard to my questions.

I let out a long sigh later, succumbing according to trying the gift that Brother Rey gave me.

There, that is on the bed there is a pink paper bag with decorative ribbons on the outside. Rey's sister is indeed sweet, she even applied the decoration on the gift that will be given to me. I can't hide a smile. I'll open up what's inside. However, the originally wide-formed smile slowly shrank as I looked at the contents of the paper bag.

Oh, my goodness, Rey. My head shook with a rough gust of breath coming out of my lips.

The intended gift is a material skimpy nightgown with a transparent model.
