Tarnished Before Accident

Tarnished Before Accident
Chapter 34. Hang down

I took a deep breath, tried to catch my ear and blinded my eyes to what was happening in the room. Soon I left those who must have struggled like a married couple, forging a love that could break my heart.

Too stunned in tears, I accidentally nudged the vase of flowers that was on the stairs. I gasped, afraid that they would hear the sound of a flower vase breaking. Immediately I widened my steps, ran from there, down one by one the stairs before Kak Rey or Kak Rena realized my existence.

I roughly wiped my tears before finally getting back into the car. Zoya apparently woke up as I sat next to her.

"Tante cry?" ask her a little yawn.

I just smiled, rubbed the round-eyed girl's head, then hugged her. I held her tight, stroked her like a mother to her child. I sobbed there, hugging Zoya as an outlet for the sadness I felt.

"Aunty take you home, yeah!" I kissed Zoya's forehead, easing a nearly broken cry. "Sir, you know Zoya's house, right?" I asked the driver who was driving us.

The middle-aged man nodded. "Yes, No."

"We're going to Zoya's house. His parents are waiting."

I decided to send Zoya back to her house according to Kak Rey's original plan. I probably won't be able to take care of it tonight because my feelings are so messed up.

Still pictured in my head how Kak Rey kissed Kak Rena. The voices****** and their cries ring back in my ears. My heart hurts, it hurts.

It looks like it feels mixed. I just realized how hard it was for me to accept this marriage. However, there was nothing I could do but endure until this fetus was born into the world.

Until when our car stopped at a luxury house near the highway. I asked the Driver. "Is this his house?"

"Yes, Non. This is Mr. Alvaro's house, Non Zoya's father."

"Oh!" I nodded, then patted slowly the cheek of Zoya who was asleep on my lap.

"Zoya, wake up, honey! We've arrived."

The little girl blinked her eyelids, then turned her head outside the window. "It's over, yeah, Tan."

"Yes, honey."

Zoya's home security opened the door, letting our car into the mansion. Even in front of public roads, this house is very beautiful. The garden that connects the house with the front gate is very spacious. It seems like the residents of the house are very fond of plants so that the garden here looks beautiful and spoils the eyes of anyone who sees it. With decorated bolham lights on the right and left of the road where the car passes add to the impression of luxury and exotic in terms of aesthetics.

The car stops right at Zoya's doorstep. Suddenly I hesitated to take Zoya inside.

Who me?

Why am I with Zoya?

There must be a lot of questions that they will ask me later so I have to rethink to deliver Zoya without making others aware of my existence.

"Sir, please bring Zoya in!" I looked at Zoya's round eyes gently. "Honey, Auntie's home, yeah! Next time Zoya can play again to Aunt's house."

"Yes, Tan. Tell Om Rey to pick up Zoya again to be invited to play at Aunt's house." He said excitedly, using an adorable special accent.

"Surely." I smiled at him. The driver opens the door and takes Zoya out of the car to enter her house. I could only stare at the little girl's back from inside the car. My eyes were still wet from crying, as if my supply of tears was limitless.

I was also reluctant to contact Rey because it would definitely interfere with her relationship with Kak Rena. Yeah, it better be. It's better he doesn't show up in front of me so I get used to him. I will more easily forget and get rid of my feelings that some time ago always think about it.

At about six in the morning, boredom enveloped me. I would love to go out for a walk to breathe the outside air. After bathing and changing clothes, I decided to go to the city park. At least this Sunday will be more colorful if you meet other people and blend like other normal humans.

Using the services of an online motorcycle taxi, I finally arrived at the city park at around seven in the morning. The atmosphere is already very crowded with many pedestrians and families who are filling their vacation time. The desire to mingle seems to disappear just like watching young couples and children playing with their families.

A holder made of cement I made a place to stop for a while while watching the people who were passing in front of me. The little children were carried on their backs by their father, while the mother's hand was held by her husband's burly hand. They seemed happy with a complete family, loving and loving each other.

I rubbed my own stomach. Will my son's fate be the same as mine or worse? He will lose the figure of the father who should protect and spoil him in times of growth. I can't demand much of it on Rey. However, this child also needs a father figure who is used as a role model.

Suddenly the corner of my eye warmed. I miss that guy again. Why is it so hard to get himself out of my head?

I got up from my seat, and decided to go to the shop opposite the park. A gift shop that sells a variety of souvenirs as a hallmark of regional culture.

I don't intend to buy anything. Just want to wash your eyes, look around for unique items sold by store owners. Everything looks beautiful and funny. It is fitting that there are so many visitors who have lined up to fill this store even though it is still morning.

A rubik-sized snowball caught my attention. There, in the clear-colored ball there is a small family consisting of a father and mother with a baby in the cradle. The mother's head clung to her husband's chest, while the father wrapped his arms around his wife. They look sweet and happy.

I don't know why I suddenly decided to buy that thing. I remember Brother Rey. Ah, again. Why does that face always appear in my memory.

I asked the shopkeeper to wrap the snowball and write down the words inside. Just a short word, but full of meaning.

"Smile! You will be happy by yourself."

Those words should have been more for myself. However, Kak Rey's rarely-displayed smile makes me want to see her smile. The rare smile I can only get at certain moments makes me want to see it again. At the very least, when I left her she looked at me with a smile.

After making the payment, I immediately walked out of the gift shop. Just when he wanted to return to the garden area, suddenly a voice called out to me.

"Non Alea!"

My eyes were looking for the person who called my name. The voice was clearly so familiar that without taking much time I could find it.

"Bak Leli?"

She's a housekeeper at the Hinata family home. We used to joke around making breakfast every morning so our relationship was close enough.

"Non Alea, long time out of sight. What's up, Non. I miss a lot."

I'm shaking. "Call Alea, Ma'am. I'm not Mommy's employer's son anymore."

Mommy Leli's face turned grim as I said that. "It is saddened by the problems that have befallen Non Alea. Non and Non content, healthy, right?"

"Heem." I'm nodding. "Healthy, Ma'am. Thank goodness."

We made small talk, asking general questions like people who have not seen each other for a long time. Until the moment Leli said one thing that surprised me.

"Non, there's actually a secret that I've been silent about. It's about Non Alea's mother."

At that moment my feelings started to feel bad. The words of Mbak Leli hang, making my curiosity impatient to wait for the continuation of the forty-two-year-old woman to speak.
