The Adventure Of Eric (The Rescue of the Elf Princess)

The Adventure Of Eric (The Rescue of the Elf Princess)
12. The attack on Angel's House.

A very gripping night in the Elf country. One by one, the post teleportation towards the residence of the nobles had fallen!

At her residence, Angel is hidden by her bodyguards and servants in an unkempt building, near the stables.

"My son! Where's Levyn!" ask him repeatedly.

"The prince said, go to the palace of His Majesty the King, Lady" replied the bodyguard who had previously escorted Levyn and returned alone.

"That brat really can't be told that it's so dangerous!" anguished Angel among her fears.

His bodyguards and servants did not respond. They concentrated on hearing the huge commotion from the main house. Prince Glenn's special forces were indeed reduced by a lot.

Half of that number, brought to the northern border which continues to be chaotic. Of the remaining half, another half was brought by Prince Glenn himself to protect her in the search for Princess Cristal. The remaining quarter of the guards were in the residence.

A small portion was placed in the lower teleportation post and could be certain to have lost! Now, the approximately twenty-five guards present, aided by the male workers at the residence, resisted vigorously.

The female servants were hidden with Angel. It is very dangerous for them if seen by Orcs who are notoriously vicious and violent in women.

There were three of Angel's bodyguards, plus a bodyguard of her son, who guarded the women.

"Take the message bird!" said Angel. The female servants looked at each other. They peered towards the house, where the bird was placed.

"Let me take it. Does the madam want paper and a pen too?" asked bodyguard.

"Yes! Be careful!" message Angel's worried. He had to send Glenn a message about the situation at the residence.

The bodyguard hid and ran repeatedly, during the approach to the residence. The back has not been affected by the commotion in front of the house. After being convinced that there were no Orcs around, the bodyguard quickly ran into the house and headed straight for the upper floor of the residence, where Angel's private workspace was located. That's where the message-carrying bird usually resides.

He found the bird looking restless in its cage. He took the paper and pen and ran down the stairs to the ground floor of the mansion. After being certain that no one was there, he crossed the room quickly. Run towards the garden door.

The smell of wood and sunburn is very concentrated. Seen on the left, the other wing of the house was on fire. And no one had time to turn off the fire.

The guard ran straight away. He had to tell Angel this. However, if the fire is not immediately contained, the fire will devour the entire residence complex, including kitchens and stables and cattle pens.

"I'm back!" shouted the guard since he was five meters from Angel's hiding.

"Did you get what I asked for?" ask Angel impatiently.

"Here, Madam." The bodyguard gave up anything Angel wanted.

With a little light, Angel wrote a message. Then the message paper is tied to the bird's foot.

"You must be able to find the lord of the land of the witches. We're counting on you!" angel whispered to the bird. The bird was then sent into space.

He saw another piece of paper in his hand. Angel wrote another message. The writing was rather long and the letters were not understood by the other Elves.

"I wrote a message to Robert. That is if you can remember that I am not of this world. I don't know where he and the others are. But this is the last effort I can make. Which one of you is willing to volunteer to find my friends?" ask Angel.

The face of everyone who looked at him was confused. "Mrs, we're just stuck here. Either you can escape, or you can't. Then, how do you deliver this message to your friends that we don't know where?" ask one of the servants, representing everyone's question.

"You have to follow the route they took that time. They went out to sea, through the country of the blue dwarves." Angel explained.

"Then how are we going to get off?" ask another waiter.

"The Orcs have opened the teleportation gate. You guys should be able to get past the guards and leave!" angel said lightly.

"Let me go!" A bodyguard of Angel volunteered.

Angel looked at him long and serious. "You know very well that my request sounds ridiculous. However, we must still have a speck of hope. As ridiculous as that. Whatever it is, it has to be fought!" angel said feelingly.

"I understand!" answer the man.

"I'll go with him!" levyn's bodyguard said he didn't want to miss.

Thick smoke began to gush into their hiding places.

"Madam, the residence in the south is on fire." The bodyguard who left earlier, informed the developments outside.

"The smoke has arrived here. That is, the fire has spread closer to here!" a female servant concluded.

"Wouldn't we have to find a new hiding place?" the other word.

Angel nodded. The message he had written earlier, was put in a dirty glass bottle he had found in that place.

"This message is for Robert and Doctor Chandra!" The bottle containing the message was handed to his loyal bodyguard. The man kept the bottle under his clothes.

"Now let's get out!" take Angel.

"But Madam ...."

The objection was lost in the thickened smoke. The wind blew towards their hiding place. The women were indeed forced to come out of their hiding places.

No more objections. They just scramble out to breathe fresh air.

"We'll distract them, so you can go!" angel said firmly.

"Mrs!" this time his other bodyguards protested. They have to save Angel, not show themselves and be the bait! That's not a good plan at all.

"Small sacrifices, for greater hope!" angel said to encourage and understand.

The guards and servants bowed. "Good!" answer them softly. How to refuse? Their mistresses alone dared to make sacrifices so that anyone could escape to send an emergency message elsewhere!

"Let's get out!" take Angel. The bodyguards in front of him immediately checked the road in front of them.

"This place is about to burn. Get all the livestock out of the cage. Let them save themselves!" angel's orders.

"Good!" Two female servants slipped away towards the cage. Before long there was a panicked sound of all the animals. Then the servant who left earlier, returned with two horses Angel's favorite.

"Ah, I forgot. You will need this horse on your way to the land of the blue dwarves. Bring it!"

The two bodyguards who had the task of leaving, received the two large horses' harnesses.

"What if you come with us, ma'am?" she asked her bodyguard to hope to save Angel.

Angel shakes. "Go! My home. I'll stay here."

"Come on! The sooner you go, the better!" Angel stepped up with a steady swing of the foot. He was not at all bothered by the sound of the crackling of wood engulfed in flames. Not crying hysterically at all because his house and precious treasures were soon reduced to ashes!
