The Adventure Of Eric (The Rescue of the Elf Princess)
Chapter 72. The Pangeran Levyn

Levyn, who was called his cousin's sister, immediately went up and faced.

“Your Highness,” said respectfully.

“Sit, Levyn. I have something to talk to you about,” said the Crown Prince.

Levyn sat down and was ready to listen. He noticed the posture of his cousin's brother who is usually very dashing and authoritative. Now there are a lot of thoughts.

“Levyn, you're downstairs. You know very well the state of our country now, right?” the prince opened the conversation.

Levyn nodded. He did not want to cut off the prince's words.

“We are short of food. What other people. I don't know when the last time they ate enough!” the prince said again. Levyn nodded back.

“Barusan your mother said, the place behind the magic forest they used to live in, has a lot of groceries. He asked me to send some people to take him there for our supplies and the people not to starve.” The Crown Prince observed Levyn's expression. Look for loopholes if the young man may not agree to the plan. But he had to swallow disappointed.

“Really?” levyn asked with a happy face.

“Can I go there too? Maybe I can help them!” Levyn was excited about the plan.

The Crown Prince complained inwardly. Mother and son both do not care about their own lives. Now what should he be? There was no reason to ignore Angel's request.

After a long sigh, the prince finally nodded. “That's what I'm calling you,” he said.

“Create that? I'm allowed to come?”

He feels very happy. Usually the mother and the royal family are very strict towards him. Can't do this, can't go there and so on. This time he was called and given a task. Isn't that really cool? Moreover, he was sent to the place where his mother came from. He was very impatient and wanted to know what the world was like.

“You know about magic forest?” ask the prince.

Levyn thought for a moment. “Emm yeah …. Like the stories we usually hear in the market or anywhere else. That the forest has a powerful magic power. Anyone who enters it and stays there overnight, if he does not wake up until the day changes, then he will be gone forever!” levyn said he was trying to remember the country's folklore.

The Crown Prince nodded. The story is true. But that's only part of the truth we know. There are still many mysteries that have not been revealed, as many people avoid the place.”

Levyn nodded in agreement with his cousin's words.

“Only the descendants of the nation of witches can pass through the place safely, as a result of the agreement thousands of years ago. Let me explain a little. A long time ago, the magic forest was included in the territory of the witch country. Until then, a very powerful magician and considered to be endangering the entire wizarding country, appeared.”

“That forecast is little by little evident as the child gets older. Finally the palace decided to isolate it to a remote forest so as not to cause reproach to other people. Since then, the remote forest had become even stronger. But he never bothered anyone of the descendants of the nation of witches who passed through the place, as a form of appreciation for his ancestors.”

“Is that how the story is?” Levyn was surprised. He had not heard such a heartwarming story outside his residence.

“That's what your grandmother said when I was little,” said the prince.

“Oh, grandma does come from there. No wonder he has his own story that the Elven folk do not know.” Levyn nodded in understanding.

“Well, that's why I called you. As a descendant of a nation of witches, then you can pass through the forest safely. You're very reliable to keep our messenger alive go and go home later!” the Crown Prince said at last.

The Crown Prince smiled and patted her on the shoulder. “I'm counting on you. May we survive until you return and bring plenty of food for the people!”

Levyn jumped up and hugged her cousin. “Thank you. I feel like you think I'm an adult, now, don't you? Thank you.” His eyes were wet with haru.

“Before you leave, meet your mother first. He would probably tell a lot about his place of origin. I will prepare the people who go!”

The Crown Prince was relieved. Levyn was neither afraid nor rejected. It seems that he is already an adult. The young prince who used to be just having fun, was now excited to be given the task of saving the people.

“I guess I was the one who kept thinking of him as my little brother. Though he was impatient to flap his wings and fly high,” murmured the prince.

“This task is good for him to prove himself as a precious prince of the Elf country,” comments his advisor.

“Ya .. she is already very impatient waiting for this moment.” The prince smiled faintly. His heart became slightly light as part of the burden of his mind had been lifted.

In the makeshift tent, Angel lived with servants who were increasingly thin and pale. Levyn was saddened by her mother's apprehensive condition. “Mother,” sapanya soft.

“Oh, you've come. Sit!” his orders.

Levyn sits on the edge of a small wooden cot where her mother rests. He waited patiently.

“What Your Majesty has given you the order?” ask Angel. Levyn nodded.

“Mom talked about this with your grandmother first. So he sent me this letter this morning. You read the message. It will help you pass through the magic forest safely and how to ward off that magic if he comes to test you.” Said Angel.

Levyn read her grandmother's message. It's not a short message. Because it contains many spells that he should have cast. But because it has been written down by Grandma snag, then she can read it before being able to mengahapal. Finally he knew why his father could always get away when he passed through the place. Levyn nodded.

“I've read it. I'll take my grandmother's letter to ship on the road,” Levyn said.

Angel nodded. “Now the important part. Your job is to take the abundant food stock in that place. There's a lot of wild oats in there. Some of them we also planted, ...”

Angel explained everything that had to be done so that the food could be obtained easily. Levyn nodded in understanding.

“Now, go. The survival of this country depends on you!” Angel patted Levyn on the shoulder.

His heart is heavy. But he must release his last child to a place he himself does not know, what it will be like now.  Maybe that place has changed a lot. His hopes for the two bodyguards he sent to look for Robert were already running low. They have not been back in a month. The Elf country is already very chaotic now.

“I'm leaving, Mom,” says Levyn.

“Yes. Be careful on the road. Remember, we spent two nights in the magic forest. So, the place to go to that other world, must be very far from the border of the magic forest with the Elf country,” Angel message.

Levyn nodded, hugged her mother for a while and exited the tent. Steps steady. He was determined to go to the task.

“Prince, you are called before His Majesty,” said a bodyguard. Levyn.
