Chapter 68. Mystery of Maple Hallway

Eric and his entourage fly down the river, following Robert's directions.

“Shortly!” Robert stopped near a large, lush tree by the river.

“The skin from the trunk of this tree is good for dealing with pain. I thought we might need it there,” explained Robert.

“Good, take some for supplies. Leave the rest to keep him growing well!” Eric's orders.

Robert, Dimas and Jason cut off enough Willow branches to stock up on their medicine. Eric told his father that.

“OK. I know the tree. I'll find him later,” Dean said through his mind. “Don't forget to mark your trip, to check the place for these people to stay,” Dean added again.

“I've been tagged since we passed the river,” Eric replied.

Eric took it all back and followed Robert.

“Wahh, beautiful scenery. Why didn't you know us yesterday?” sofie Protest. Together with Aila, Icye, and Red, they fly here and there among the reddish maple foliage.

Eric had to admit that the place with the low waterfall was indeed very beautiful. If not to go to the Elf country, he would have wanted to play as much as there.

“How about you guys just fly? It might be faster to get to the end there,” advises Khort.

“You're right.” Eric agreed. “We fly only, to shorten the time!” his orders.

However, his face immediately turned pale. Then I heard the comments of other team members.

“I can't fly!” they said confused.

Others have said the same thing. “I too!”

“This place makes us unable to fly!”

“This magic forest suppresses our abilities, making us just like ordinary humans!” Robert surprised. But Eric thought of something else.

“Isn't this dangerous? What about the friends we keep in storage?” asked Eric worriedly. Everyone was surprised to hear it.

“Try to remove first,” advice Robert. Eric tries to get Evan and Ubbe out of his storage. She shook her head.

“My communication with them was also cut off!” said Eric.

“None of us holds a physical weapon. If anything happens, then we will only be prey!” Dimas.

“I also can't turn into a dragon, here!” said Gerald. Grandpa Kang repeatedly tried to change himself, but could not. His mouth could not bring out fire either.
