The Adventure Of Eric (The Rescue of the Elf Princess)
Chapter 41. Desert

Throughout the eye looked, which looked just a sand dune. Their bodies that had previously been extremely cold, were instantly petrified.

“Got dinging it towards the desert,” muttered Robert confused.

“Are you also here?” ask one of the tribes of Light.

Robert shakes. “No!”

Robert thought for a moment. “The ones stranded in the desert are Leon and Silvia. That's what Leon said. When Leon takes her away, Silvia refuses, as she falls in love with the natives.”

“Then let's find Silvia,” Eric said happily. He did not need to bother anymore to lead the team, if he could meet with Robert's team members before. They can definitely point in the right direction.

“It's not that easy. We don't know if this is the same desert or not. If it were the same, none of us would know where he lives.” Robert shakes.

“Why did you say this might not be the same desert?” ask Grandpa Kang.

“Because Leon and Silvia reached the desert after crossing the ocean with a wall of light in the land of blue dwarfs. While we ...”

“Ignore that first. Think about where we're going. We can ripen toasted in the middle of a desert like this,” Dimas reminded the team members.

“You're right”. Jason darted up to check the area around them. Sofie followed curiously. He loved unexpected adventures like this. Both of them were astonished because up to the horizon, they found no trace of a single city.

“We're in the middle of nowhere,” complains Jason lethargic.

“Isn't this exciting? We still have to search again like we are looking for a wall of light in the snow forest!” Sofie smiled mysteriously.

The girl floated down to where her one-time friend had gathered.

“I don't really like puzzles.” Jason pouting. He's following Sofie down. BELOW, the atmosphere started boisterous because Sofie had already said what she saw.

“Are we going to split the team in a small group again like before?” Hakon asked enthusiastically.

“Better so. So we can get a hint soon.” Grandpa Kang nodded.

“I'm not sure that's the right thing. The conditions here are very different from snow forests. There, our presence is disguised behind the forest trees. While here-”-Robert looks up, then around.

“There is no place that can disguise our existence. Imagine if there were natives who saw someone flying in the distance?”

“There will definitely be a big furore!” Eric chuckles amusedly.

“We will probably be hunted by the natives!” Grandpa Kang shook his head unhappily. Especially considering the shape of his body that is often scary for some ordinary people.

“Then how? We have to walk?” I'm a pressure to be in a place this hot,” lamented Icye. His body was already soaked in sweat.

“You can finally melt too!” Gerald laughed out loud. The irritated Icye immediately shot ice from his hand towards Gerald.

“How can you freeze fire?” Gerald scoffed. He only needed to shake his hand to shed those pointy ice spikes that flew towards him.

Icye is upset. He flew to where Gerald was deftly flying high. Ubbe, who was still on his back, hugged him in fear.

“Gerald, you can't freeze. But what about me?” shout Ubbe. His hands clutched tightly around Gerald's neck.

“Don't strangle me!” shouted Gerald gurgling.

“I didn't strangle you. I just hugged you!” Ubbe couldn't let go of his hand. The more Gerald flew indistinctly, the more Ubbe would hug the young dragon's neck tighter.

“See! Ubbe's situation is very worrying!” Evans pointed to the altitude, where his three friends were flying in pursuit in the sky.

“Icye, stop! You're putting Ubbe's life at risk!” Hakon sends a message to Icye who is ready to send an attack on Gerald.

Icye was surprised to get the warning. It's just, it's too late. He has unleashed his attack. “Ubbeee!” panicked shouting.

Eric darted as fast as lightning to protect Ubbe from the attack of an Icye ice needle that could freeze anyone without the power of fire.

“Aduh!” Eric stared intently at Icye. His leg was still struck by the girl's ice needle.

Icye surprised. “Wire!” inner fear. He immediately turned around and ran towards the team members who were still waiting.

“My attacks about Eric. Please!” The girl immediately took refuge behind Robert's body.

“Eric, Icye by accident ..” Robert sent a message to Eric's mind.

“Gerald, get away from there!” yelled Grandpa Kang. He's worried now. If Eric is hit by a sudden rampage, then not only Ubbe is in danger, but also Gerald.

“What happened?” The two Elves did not understand how the cheerful and joking atmosphere could turn tense that quickly.

Jason and Aila immediately shot up. Standing right in front of Eric whose eyes were shining golden blue. The man stared intently at Icye who was hiding behind Robert's body.

“Uncle, It's me, Jason and Aila. You're not gonna hurt your niece, are you?” persuade Jason carefully. Eric's hands extended to the left and right. The surrounding wind started to spin, lifting dust and sand up, circling his body which was now emitting a blue and golden light.

“Legregor, please calm yourself. We never meant to hurt you. Icye was unintentional. He only plays with Gerald,” Doctor Dimas comes along and persuades Eric who is beginning to be overrun by the souls of their ancestors.

“Hakon, take all the members of this team away. Protect the weak,” Robert's orders.

Hakon nods quickly he hides the Elves, Ubbe and Evan in storage. Then they went further away from that place. Eric hasn't been too able to master the ancestral soul. It would be extremely dangerous if the soul that possessed absolute power were to go berserk and destroy its own offspring. Grandpa Kang was keeping the team members with Gerald

“You two will get punished after all this is done!” said Grandpa Kang. Gerald and Icye looked down full of regret.

Around Eric, Robert, Arjun, Dimas and Jason and Aila are still trying to persuade the souls of ancestors who have appeared.

“Eric, you must be able to master the ancestral soul. You are the real owner of the body. Don't let that passenger take control and destroy our family members!” Arjun said spicyly. His hands were raised, in anticipation of everything. The blue light on his eyes, recognized by the ancestral soul.

“Heh! With that ability, you can only be a guard! How dare you say disrespect to me!”

“I am indeed a guard. And forever will be the guard. Keeping the Light Nation remaining after you left irresponsibly!” reply Arjun dare.

“How about me?” Robert advanced. His body was covered in orange light.

“You ... have the power of hellfire!” hiss Eric.

“Do you want to feel it?” Robert asked cynically.

“Do you think your low ability is able to fight me?” challenge the ancestral soul.

“What about me, ancestor? I am your direct grandson.” Doctor Dimas stretched his hands wide. A beam of white light glistened like a jewel, instantly enveloping it.

Eric's mouth was slightly open. But the ancestral soul said nothing. His golden hands were stretched out toward Dimas and placed on the young doctor's head.
