Chapters 84. Checking the Floating Island

“I just keep it, like I keep groceries,” replied Eric. Robert was down and immediately stood next to Eric.

“Why him?” asked Robert who was astonished to see the bodyguard sitting on the floor in fear..

“She was surprised to see everyone missing,” Eric said.  Then Eric looked at the bodyguard seriously. “I think you should see the place first, so as not to be afraid again.”

Eric shook his hand and the bodyguard disappeared.

“You are getting better at doing it. I can't do that yet,” comments Robert. He tried to shake his hand to pull one of the blankets in. The blanket did not move at all. Eric just laughed. They're going down to the crater. And his hands were flicked again.

The guard fell down again on the floor. His eyes looked fearfully at Eric.

“Why are you still afraid? Can't you go back? I just want them safe in there. If we don't need you for a guide, then you're also safer in there until you return to the palace later!” eric is getting upset.

“Your countries are very magical. How many nations are there?’ asked the King, when Eric and Gerald were circling the island to check.

“Many nations. One of them is Jason. He is a descendant of the Light Nation and The Fallen Angel. He's got big, white and beautiful wings on his back,” Gerald said.

“Really? Why don't I see it? Is it only used when he flies?” ask king.

“He can fly without taking out wings, because he is the descendant of the nation of Light. But my mother said, if her heart is touched, the wings will appear by themselves and her body will glow.” explained Gerald.

“We're down here!” said Eric. Gerald followed him down to the floating island. The place is so dark. The king and his guards descended carefully.

“Do not go anywhere, Your Majesty. Let me make a lamp, first,” said the head of the palace guard. The man blamed himself, why did not he think of carrying a lamp. So he fumbled in the dark, looking for dry twigs.

While he was searching, Gerald had already managed to make one bonfire. With special eyes, both are easy to find dry twigs and foliage. Now, the place had already begun to look its original form. It's still like a wilderness.

“We should have brought Jason here,” chirped Gerald.

“Why” ask king.
