The Adventure Of Eric (The Rescue of the Elf Princess)

The Adventure Of Eric (The Rescue of the Elf Princess)
31. Departure Night

"Where are you going?" Sofie sees Eric flying to the beach after being called his father. The girl immediately chased after, leaving her astonished friends.

Eric swims and dives in the sea. While hitting the sea level. Sofie doesn't dare to get too close, when Eric's having emotions like that. So he only watched at a distance of fifteen meters above sea level. Close enough to be able to hear the young man's exasperated screams and curses.

"You why? Scolded your father again? Be patient ...," Sofie persuaded after seeing Eric let himself float on the surface of the water. The man is calm now.

Eric did not. His eyes were closed, but his brain was digesting the words of those Light Nation elders.

"I'm not allowed to come tomorrow!" Eric was done with his silence.

"Hlo, how can you? Aren't you told to come along from the beginning?" Sofie doesn't understand.

"Because I refuse to be team leader tomorrow!" erik Sahut lightly. He flew while rotating his body rapidly above the surface of the water. Make her clothes wet, go around and splash water here.

"Hey! Don't do that! Wet, tau!" annoyed Sofie while avoiding and avoiding Eric.

Eric doesn't care that he just keeps flying above sea level. Sometimes slow, sometimes slow and looking around. Sofie chased after him curiously. What did the young man think to reject his appointment.

"Eric! Wait!" his pursuit. Both of them flew high in the sky of the Little World of the Light Nation. From the sea, to the orchards and around again across the farm.

"Why did you make a will like that before you close your eyes?" Eric crouches down on the side of Doctor Chandra's grave.

"According to dad, you're an ancestor of the Light Nation. You are destined to lead our nation back to the epoch of glory."

Sofie helps clean up the meal of Doctor Chandra who was the Ruler of the Light Nation Before Dean.

"But I don't want to be the leader of the Light Nation. I'd rather be a supporter who's behind!" lamented Eric.

"It was your destiny, before you were born. You just have to live it. There'll be a lot of people helping out, if you're not as perfect as they'd expect" Sofie said.

"Would you remember the elder Chandra? He loved the science of medicine. However, due to his destiny of becoming a leader, he took that responsibility boldly. Then he was supported by many people, until our Nation became a very advanced nation!" Sofie is still trying to give Eric some understanding.

"Then, the time of destruction came. All that brilliance was gone vanished without a trace!" Eric added cynically.

"It's also part of destiny. It is beyond our control over what happens!" Sofie is very understanding about that, as Ivy's powerful soul has been realized and accepted wholeheartedly.

"Lantas, why else look for glory, if in this way we can be happy and live peacefully?"

Eric looked at Sofie sharply. It made the girl a little surprised to see a gaze that felt unfamiliar to her. He looked like he saw Eric's eyes sparkling golden blue just a moment ago, then disappear.

"If you think so, you really have to be the leader of our nation" said Sofie after successfully mastering himself.

"Why is that?" Eric wonder.

"Because, by becoming a leader, your desire can be achieved. As a leader, you can and have the right to make decisions. And everyone will obey you!" softie replied with a slanted smile.

"You're so smart!" praise Eric.

But unexpectedly, Eric hit his head with a reed rod. The girl was surprised. Before he asked, Eric said, "Do you think I don't know if you're driving me to obey my father's wishes?"

"Oh!" Eric left Sofie. "Don't follow me!" he screams in Sofie's head.

"You're very smart. And I could see the ancestral soul light appear just now. Why did you shut it down and refuse to accept it?" Sofie can only shake her head at Eric's behavior.

At night, the preparation is accelerated, so that everything is completed on time.

Grandfather Kang handed over the two teleportation doors that became his collection, to be carried by Ubbe, Aslan's student.

"If you've reached a place that Robert thinks is right, you can install a teleportation door. You have to come back here first, to confirm the coordinates with us." Aslan reminded his first disciple.

"Okay, Master," replied the man.

Ubbe is a descendant of the Light Tribe. He had no special abilities like a real descendant. However, he has intelligence passed down from his father. He was one of Aslan's proud disciples, and was considered capable of carrying out a mission to make a teleportation path to the Fairy Tale World.

"One more door, you install it after it's safe there. That's your path back later. Must be after all safely resolved! You certainly wouldn't want that giant nation to come here through the teleportation door and destroy this world!" Dean stressed the importance of it.

"Understand, Leader!" answer the man again.

"You better join the team of Doctor Dimas. Because he's the one who's gonna keep the teleportation door."

"Good, Teacher." The man nodded back. He did not have a storage necklace like the generally Light Nation. It was not that he did not have, however, because he was unable to access it, as a result of not having any special abilities.

"Then what is the patient?" dean asked Dimas.

"One can already walk, which one has not recommended to walk!" gel Dimas.

"Then, you just arrange how good it is for tomorrow's trip.

"I'll do it!" Dimas nodded.

Dean had already checked the supplies prepared by Indra and Niken. Everything was in line with his expectations.

"You can rest now. Tomorrow will be even more tiring" he said before returning home.

Dean stood under the moonlight, in front of a waterfall beside his residence. His house is deserted. The sound of Widuri and her daughter was heard coming from the top floor of the house.

Eric's voice sounded. "Dad, I want to talk!"
