The next day, the head of the Light Nation family gathered to register their sons and daughters who would be included in the team to the Fairy Tale Country.
Robert assisted Arjun, taking down the volunteers. Both are happy, because quite a number of young generations of the Light Nation are participating. Their unique abilities are much needed in difficult terrain.
Grandpa Kang came to register with Gerald. Nastiti and Kang can no longer ban the two from participating.
That afternoon the team members who signed up, gathered in front of Dean's house, for a little advice.
Sofie was so happy to be standing next to Eric. Ivy's legacy arrow arc was carried on his back.
Jason and his cousin Aila, Yoshie's daughter accompanied Doctor Dimas who was eventually allowed to participate. Plus Evans' son Liam and Laras. The four people were the medical team in the group.
Coupled with the Light Nation group, twenty people were gathered ready to leave.
"Today we begin our preparations. You prepare yourself and personal supplies. Everything else will be prepared here" Dean said.
"Tomorrow morning, get ready here!" Dean finished the day's business. Give time to team members to prepare and say goodbye to their families.
"How's that patient?" dean asked Dr Dimas.
"It's pretty healthy. It's just that, the foot surgery, it will likely take a little more time to carry," he replied,
Dean was silent and thought for a moment. "Try asking him. Does he want to be treated just stay here and wait for the situation to progress?"
"If refusing. Then you have to carry it in your storage necklace" Dean explained.
"Okay, I'll ask you." Dimas nodded in understanding.
"Prepare enough drugs, at least for our own team. If it can bring more for the needy there, it's much better."
"We'll get ready!" Dimas and Jason answered quickly.
"Go away. I want to talk to Robert, Arjun, and Grandpa Kang!" said Dean.
After the medical section was gone to make preparations, Dean joined Robert and Arjun who were still busy taking notes.
"Grandfather Kang, can you join us, here?" invite Dean.
"Of course."
Grandpa Kang turned to Gerald. "You go with them. Grandfather will first discuss with the Leader of the Light Nation."
"okay."
Gerald nodded and went to meet Eric and Sofie who were having an exciting conversation with Hakon, the son of the chieftain of Light and Ubbe, who became Aslan's first student.
"Grandfather Kang. Because you're the oldest of them all, and because of your long experience, I'm really hoping you'll be the leader of this group" Dean said.
"I am willing to guide and take care of them all. It's just, I think Robert is very capable of being the leader of this journey" he declined.
"Why isn't Eric the only one we're responsible for?" bianca Arjun.
"I agree with Arjun. We're getting old. While Eric we must prepare to be the leader of this nation in the future. It's good practice for him." Robert added.
"I agree too." Grandpa Kang nimbrung. "We'll guide him directly on the field."
"yeah. It has to start, Dean. Or he'll keep playing like now!" Arjun saw their young children were busy laughing and flying with each other.
Dean watched his son who was the ancestor of the Light. Eric is very different from his two sisters Dhara and Zoella who are always serious about something.
"alright. We leave this responsibility to him. It's just that, to put the brakes on his arbitrary actions, then all of you should be his advisors during the journey. How's it?" Dean expected his three friends to accept his request.
"of course. He is the future of this nation. We'll be his recompense!" Robert agreed after seeing the other two friends also nodding in agreement.
"Thank you."
"Eric, come here!" call Dean through his mind.
Eric looked inside the house, where Dad and three other parents were talking. "I am called father. You guys just play," he said to the others.
"What's the matter Dad?" Eric sat down next to Arjun.
"We've decided to make Grandpa Kang a team bodyguard. Robert and Arjun as commanders, and you as the leader of this journey! They'll be your advisors. So you should discuss each step with the three of them, before being executed!"
"What's? Team leader? I'm just a man!" refuse not like.
"No! Enough of your rejection all along. We've been following your free soul all this time. This is your condition if you want to go there!" dean Strictly.
"Why do I use conditions, while others don't? It's coercion, Dad." Eric was not happy.
"You are encouraged to take charge of the twenty team members only, refusing. How can I become the leader of the Light Nation in the future?" Grandpa Kang looked at him sharply.
"I don't want to be the leader of the Light Nation! I want to be free, not to be preoccupied with such troublesome things!" pushing hard.
"Then I will take away all your freedom! And you can't be on the team. You can go!" Dean said with a cold expression. He was very annoyed to see the fatherhood of his eldest son.
Eric left with a crumpled face. He flew out of nowhere.
"Huh ... has not changed at all!" Grandpa Kang shook his head.
"Squeezed like five years ago when asked to replace the recently deceased Chief of the Light Tribe. He also refused!" Robert breathed a heavy breath.
"The free attitude of ancestors has mastered it. It's just that, if we don't direct from now on, then he will end up the same as the ancestor of the Light Nation!" Arjun covered his face.
"So, who are we going to make team leader?" ask Dean impatiently.
"The most experienced and responsible one is Hakon, the son of the chieftain." Grandpa Kang expressed his opinion.
"Grandfather Kang is very observant. The man had already taken part in organizing the tribe of Light since his father ascended, replacing his grandfather." Arjun chimed in quickly.
"I agree!" Robert nodded.
"good. Tomorrow we announce. Now I want to check the preparations Indra and Niken have made." Dean stood up from his seat and walked out.
"I hope Dean isn't too disappointed with Eric," Arjun muttered seeing Dean flying towards the farm.
"It's hard for him and for us too. The Lord of Light, before his death had intended that Eric replace Dean lead the Light Nation to glory again." Robert spoke to himself.
"The testament keeps us from preparing other candidates, for fear of violating its wishes." Grandpa Kang chimed.
"Didn't Doctor Dimas take part in the team? What if we also prepare him as a candidate for alternative leadership, if Eric remains adamant about rejecting the prepared relay?" ask Arjun again.
Robert shakes. "Since Doctor Chandra died, even though his strength was lowered on Dimas, it seemed like his strength was in a state of hiberbation. He's not very active. What stands out is DImas as the equally great Doctor with his father!"
"It's very confusing to think about Eric's behavior!" grouse Grandpa Kang.
