Chapter 69. Firefly Magic Spells

Everyone finally realized that there was something more important than just not being able to fly. Now, they were ordinary humans in that magic passageway. Extremely powerful magic, successfully suppressing all of their innate abilities from birth.

“Then let's speed things up. That's the only way we're getting out of here!” breakup Eric.

Others followed. They walked even faster, almost like running. But the hallway was like an endless passageway. They are still in the shade of maple trees.

“I pulled my words earlier. This place is not at all beautiful!” gerutu Red was upset.

“I'm so tired,” Sofie said. He sat on the ground, unable to continue on the road anymore.

The others sat down to rest. I don't know how many times they have rested. Feeling tired, thirsty and hungry. But they can't take the food in their storage. Meanwhile, for the sake of practicality, no one brought food outside. This is very different from Robert and his team used to carry items on their respective horse backs.

“I'm sorry, I didn't know the power this place could have affected our abilities,” Robert regretted.

The group moved back. Robert tried to check the side of the maple tree line to find another way. However, as if a wall was blocking, he could not penetrate it.

“This road does direct its visitors to the place they want!” upset Robert.

The team could do nothing but continue walking through the endless passageway. Just like Eric warned. As the sky began to darken, then the strength of their bodies seemed to be already at the threshold. Forcing them to stop and rest.

Tiredness, and hunger, made everyone very upset and desperate. “Let's take a break and keep watch alternately,” the command.

Robert divided some people to keep watch. He stressed that they should not be defeated by drowsiness. Or, everyone would probably be buried in that forest forever!”

“Good!” answer the Team.

Robert borrowed the swords of Herdan and Khort to stab a maple tree. Then tuck the leaves in such a way, in order to drain the water. Some trees were injured and given leaf cutouts.

“Boards of dripping water with your hands. It's safe to drink,” explained Robert.

The team members were quite happy to find that they could finally quench their thirst. They take alternating maple water.

The women sleep first. They had become completely ordinary women of weak stature. Until Grandpa Kang made his guess.

“Kurasa, this forest not only withholds power and turns foreign humans into ordinary manuasia. But also reduce our strength by almost half!”

“Meanings Grandpa?” ask Gerald not to understand.

Gerald walked around, alternating with Eric. Arjun tried to look up at the sky, through the leafy leaves of the maple. The place was like a cave, pitch-black and only illuminated by the ever-increasing number of fireflies all around them.

“Have you ever read anything about fireflies?” ask Arjun. After losing strength, he became a bit of a parno.

“It's just a blinking animal. Good to have them. Otherwise, this place would be completely dark. And we won't be able to see what happens!” answer Eric.

“You were right about that. It's just, the night it gets, the more it gets and surrounds us!” objection Arjun.

Arjun's statement made Eric, Gerald and Fire look around where they were sitting. What Arjun said is true.

“I didn't see where they came from. But over time so more and more!” said Fire.

“There's no way they split, right?” ask Arjun in astonishment.

“Anything is possible if in the world of magic!” firmly Gerald. “In fact, it could be that they are not actually fireflies!” added again.

“Then what?” ask Fire.

“Magic amulet! Someone sent a magic spell! The more they are, the more powerful the magic makes us sleep!” Eric finally found a connection to all that weirdness.

“Then, let's just get rid of it!” Arjun had already stood up from his seat and shook his hands at the crowd of light that was above their sleeping companions.

Others help repel the light that keeps on shrinking more and more. Eric woke Robert who was sleeping on the edge near the tree trunk. “Build! Danger state!”

Robert bergeming. It's like he didn't hear anything. Not losing his mind, Eric hit Robert's upper arm hard. Plakk!

The punch was so loud, that it was impossible that Robert did not wake up. “What's up?” tanyanya gelagepan's.

Fire and Gerald who continued to disperse the dim light finally exhausted as well. Their eyes became heavier.

“It looks like they were also exposed to magic while driving those lights away.” Rober pulled the two to the edge and let them rest in the tree trunk.

“How now?” ask Dimas confused. He had repeatedly flickered the twinkling light, but to no avail. The light will only become more and more.

“Yes God, I really want any of us to have magic ability, now!” eric was upset. His eyes saw the flickering light flying lower and lower towards their sleeping companions.

“Did it used to be like this too?” ask Arjun to Robert.
