“Did he tear something in front of your eyes?” ask Arjun casually. He wanted to sip his tea, but it turned out that the cup was already empty. So Arjun put it down again.
“Is such a thing common in your place?” asked Hasheem who saw none of them were surprised.
“Well, although it looks terrible, but sometimes the action must be done to directly remove the disease in our bodies!” obviously Robert.
Hasheem nodded. He did see some parts of his father's belly cut off and thrown away. Then the rest is sewn back, like sewing clothes. His skull shuddered at the sight of the foreign guests casually seeing what Dimas was doing.
“One thing I was surprised at, the healer kept a lot of equipment in his hands,” Hasheem whispered.
“Like this?” Arjun took out a bottle of immortal water from his storage.
Hasheem jumped back in surprise. “Whatever-where did you do it?” tanyanya surprised.
“Wait Eric. If willing to explain everything then it means that he trusts you to keep his secret,” Arjun patted Hasheem on the shoulder.
“He's really your team leader?” ask Hasheem.
“Nation we value strength and wisdom. And Eric is the strongest among us!” Robert said seriously.
“But he looks ordinary.” Comment Hasheem
“The attitude is simple. He hangs out with anyone, even a tribe member who has no strength can still be his friend,” Hakon chimed in.
“She is young. His wisdom is still not honed. That's why our leader, Eric's father, sent him off on a mission. We just go with him. Hopefully he can become a capable leader of the nation,” explained Robert.
So, you guys go this to carry out the mission of guiding him?” hasheem looked amazed.
“The main mission is the rescue of the daughter of one of our friends who was kidnapped by another nation!” obviously Robert.
“One great. And now you're strayed all the way here?” he smiled broadly, feeling a little funny.
“Our friend's place, it has to cross the wall of light. Even though we felt we were entering the right wall of light, it turned out to be wrong. And finally we crossed another wall of light, until we got here.” Robert shakes.
“Truly uncertain,” murmured Hasheem. “Even though you crossed the wall of light known by our tribe, you still cannot be sure that it is the correct path.” Hasheem is concerned.
“Tell Hasheem, his father is conscious.” Robert got a message from Eric.
“Try looking inside. Maybe your dad's conscious?” Robert encouraged Hasheem to look inside the tent.
“Oh, alright.” Hasheem left his three guests still sitting in front of the tent.
“Where is Hasheem?” ask Laila. He had a food container in his hand.
“She walked in and looked into.” Robert pointed to the tent.
Laila was worried. He's getting close to the tent. “Hasheem, how about dad?” ask from outside.
“Dad is awake. You come in and look!” sahut Hasheem from within.
Laila quickly entered and brought her food into the tent. The two foreign guests called healers, leaned against the pile of items. They look tired. The food was immediately placed in front of Eric and Dimas.
Without saying anything, Laila got Hasheem and his father in the tidied-up bed. Before entering, he licked a pile of dirty and blood-stained bedding, placed not far from the door.
“Dad,” greet Laila with tears in her eyes.
When Laila wants to hug her father, Hasheem prevents her from. “Do not touch her aching stomach!”
“Ah, I forgot. I was so happy to see you get up again. That's enough for me.” Laila wiped her tears.
“Food I prepared. Take care of the guests and the physician. They are so exhausted!” Laila reminded Hasheem.
“Let me take care of dad!” added Laila.
Hasheem got up and took Robert, Arjun and Hakon into the tent. He came out again and soon brought another container of food. He invited his guests as a thank you.
During the day, the tribe members learned that their Chieftain had been treated. Hasheem had them slaughter ten sheep to celebrate the night. The entire tribe cheered in excitement. They immediately went to the grazing fields.
That night, outside the campfire light tent spread everywhere. They grilled lamb in many places for everyone to enjoy. Even on the rocky hill where the herders were, a bonfire was also lit to roast Hasheem-given sheep.
“Where are you from?’ asked the Chieftain who had started to find his strength again.
“What does that mean you guys don't stay in the stars anymore?” the old man smiled.
“No. Our world was destroyed hundreds of years ago.” Robert chimed.
“If so, stay here only, be our tribe's best friend,” bargained.
“Thank you for your very generous offer. But honestly, after a difficult quest, the previous Leader of our nation, managed to find another small world that could be our place of life. So that's where the few remaining people go on living.” Arjun joined the conversation.
“That's great. But, if you pass this place again, come here. You are friends of the Beiduin Tribe!” emphatically.
“Thank you, Chieftain.” Eric saluted.
“You who?” ask the Chief again. Compared to Robert, Arjun and Dimas, Eric is definitely younger. He was the same age as Hakon who listened more quietly.
“She Eric, the head of this travel team!” Robert introduced Eric.
“Oh, you must be great. Young people are already leading team members who are as old as them.
“They are the uncles who will guide me.” Eric humbled.
The conversation that night continued until an agreement was reached. That both the Chief and his tribe members would not get any demands from the Light Nation should anything happen to Eric's team after entering that wall of light.
Eric assures them that it is all their own responsibility. And that they have often passed through various walls of light. Eric instead reminded the Chief to prohibit anyone from entering the wall of light, because there is indeed very dangerous.
“Good. Since you guys insist, it's fine. You can leave tomorrow, after resting!” the message.
“Thank you!” Robert thanked them before they came out of the tent and built their own tent not far from the Chief's place.
Hasheem watched from afar. He could see that Eric and his team's tent was made of the material he had first seen. He believed that his new friends were indeed from another world behind a wall of light. A world that has many mysteries and secrets that he doesn't want to dig because it's too dangerous.
In the morning, Dimas and Eric had already come to check on the results of the previous surgery. This time, the Chieftain himself was able to see the strange medicinal tools shown to him.
“It's pretty good. Do you have any other complaints of pain other than in this stomach?” dimas asked while hanging a stethoscope around his neck. In his hand appeared a syringe that shocked the Chief. But Hasheem had seen the device before.
“Nobody hurts anymore. It's just that, here it still hurts too much,” said the Chief, pointing at his stomach.
Dimas put his palm on his stomach. Sofie suddenly appeared there and inevitably, it made the Chieftain suffocate in shock. “Who is he?” tanyanya nervous.
“She's my friend. Called to help heal wounds inside,” explains Eric.
“Do, Ivy!” Eric's orders.
Sofie placed her hand over the wound and began to emit a light of her treatment that slowly snuck in, giving a sense of comfort to the agonized Chief.
“It's medicinal water. Give it to your father. Must be drunk until it is finished. One day one bottle!” Dimas gave three bottles of medicinal perennial water to Hasheem.
“Good, Thank you.” Hasheem was very happy. That's a big bottle of medicine. Unlike if treatment on a healer, then liquid medicine can only be obtained very little.
Dimas removed the intravenous needle he had installed since yesterday. Again, all the equipment suddenly disappeared from Hasheem's sight.
While waiting for Ivy to finish with his treatment, Dima gave advice, what foods can be eaten by the Tribal Leader for a month of treatment. So that the wound in his stomach does not tear again.
“You should eat first before leaving,” says Hasheem pushy.
Eric nodded. He wants to be all fit when he starts the journey, because they don't know what to face behind the wall of light.
Hasheem himself drove up the grazing hill. “If you guys find my uncle, can you take him along, so that he is not alone there?” baiknmya sta.
“If he is willing, of course!” Eric made his promise while addressing Hasheem.
“OK! Are you ready to discover another new world?”
Eric's question was answered by another nod of the head. “Ya!”
They held hands and walked in. It then disappeared in front of Hasheem.
