6. Return of Prince Glenn

Glenn was setting up a strategy in the tent. That day, there was no meaningful movement on the other side. But the soldiers remained on standby in their respective posts. A soldier guarding the tent came carrying a message-carrying bird.

It was quickly opened and read by Glenn. There was only a short message from his father. "Cristal kidnapped the Orcs!"

Glenn's face was flushed red, upon learning of the situation. "I will face the Crown Prince!" he said to the soldiers.

The soldier came out first and went back to guard Glenn's tent.

"What message is that?" ask Randall, his confidant.

Glenn handed over the message paper and continued to step outside, towards the Crown Prince's tent.

Randal followed while running small. He was no less surprised to get the news. Messages were returned to Glenn, to be reported to the Crown Prince.

"Is there a new development?" the Prince asked, looking at Glenn's disheveled face.

In response, Glenn thrust out a message from his father. "Message from my father."

With a slightly frowning forehead, his cousin grabbed the given paper. Then read and be immediately surprised too.

"Does it have anything to do with the situation here, with there?" muttered.

"They are invisible today. It must be because it got news about this as well!" ketus Glenn's.

"Whatever the situation is, I must return to the capital!" Glenn's eyes forced. Cristal is his only daughter. She would never let an Orc touch her daughter.

"I can't let you bring troops here. This place is not yet completely safe," the Prince put forward a condition.

"I'll just take Randal. My other subordinates will accompany you!" Glenn nodded in agreement.

The Crown Prince nodded. "OKAY. Rescue Cristal. She's also my favorite daughter!" The prince gave me permission to leave.

Glenn and Randal bowed respectfully, then walked out of the Prince's large tent.

The two rushed back to the tent. Randal called the leader of the army under Glenn. Before long, the two came facing Glenn in the tent.

"There was an emergency in my family. Randal and I should go back. And you, who replaced me to protect the Crown Prince. Are you ready?" ask Glenn.

"I'll do it!" heindrich replied quickly.

Glenn nodded in satisfaction and immediately cleaned up his personal equipment. All the essentials were carried and put in leather bags and fitted in Glenn and Randal saddles. Tents and others, will be cleared by the equipment parts and will follow later.

As Glenn exited the tent, two healthy and fresh horses were handed to him. The private troops he had brought were already lined up waiting for him to check the ranks last time.

"As long as I'm gone, you obey the orders of the Crown Prince and the Leader of the Army!" glenn's Message.

"Ready!" sounding answers synchronous and compact. On horseback, Glenn and Randal passed through a small army. Then the two disappeared from the sight of the soldiers.

The Crown Prince's face clouded after getting the news Glenn had given him. He believes that Cristal's abduction must have had a special purpose. Not just a random kidnapping of robbers.

"Call all the squad leaders to face me!" his request to his personal bodyguard.

"You want to set up a special meeting on the news, Your Majesty?" ask his personal advisor.

"Hemm" said the Crown Prince.

Within five minutes, all the leaders of the six-man army gathered in front of the Prince.

"Do you know why I'm calling in this quiet situation?" ask Prince.

He saw six people leading the troops in front of him. Each leader of the army led fifty soldiers. After a long wait, no one answered. They looked at each other, then shook their heads.

The Prince's eyes looked at one of them. "Do you have no idea what this meeting is about, Heindrich?"

The more downed man, looked towards the prince who asked. "Does it have anything to do with Prince Glenn's return?" tanyanya fast.

The Crown Prince nodded. "Yes!" The man sat on his stool and looked at the six with a burning look.

"Orc dared to kidnap Princess Cristal! That's why Glenn returned to the capital," the Prince finally explained the situation.

Whispers rang out, but it went back to silence after seeing the prince move his head. "Do you think the kidnapping has anything to do with the calm situation here?"

The leaders of the army were again surprised. "True, today it's very, very calm" someone like talking to himself.

"I think they've got news of the abduction. So they disappeared, afraid to be the target of our anger here, while the kidnapper ran away somewhere!" someone said.

"Then why don't we attack them, they're hiding! Kiba represses that dirty way by slaughtering them here!" The others are excited.

He had heard from Randal what had happened. That was why, after Glenn left, he alerted his entire subordinates. Worrying if there is a sudden attack when others are careless and relaxed.

The Crown Prince's eyes flashed. He likes someone as intelligent as Heindrich. Glenn's good to leave it here.

The others were silent after seeing the Crown Prince pondering for a long time.

"Your analysis is good. I think so too. So, from this moment on, let's increase alertness. Those Orcs must have been devising the strength and strategy to surprise us. Guessing we're off guard after being given the calm for half a day!"

The prince still gave some orders to guard the border of the city that was often disturbed by the Orcs. Then the impromptu meeting broke up.

Glenn and Randall arrived at his residence after an afternoon down. Inevitably, Angel's cry made her heart bleed.

"I have to clean myself up first. After this immediately go to the King and ask permission to go find our daughter," he gently persuaded.

Angel nodded. He can't hold Glenn back if he wants his daughter back soon.

Glenn followed Randall and Levyn away to the king in his palace.

"Let me go find my daughter, Sire," Glenn said.

"I've prepared an army. You can come with that troop in the morning!" said the wise king.

"May I come with you, Uncle Raja?" prince Levyn asked expectantly.

The old-looking king nodded.

"You know the rules, son. This kingdom cannot release all its princes to the battlefield!" The king's eyes looked lovingly at Prince Levyn.

"Then, who's going to help Dad there? His special forces were left with the Crown Prince at the northern city border." The young prince asked his reason.

"Don't worry, I'll bring some of my team together. Others will guard the residence. So, you have to take care of your mother, grandfather, grandmother, uncle, and cousin!" glenn's Message.

Prince Levyn still wanted to refute but did not, after seeing his father's sharp gaze.

"Okay, Dad," he said, looking down. Seemed obedient, yet felt haughty in his heart.

After discussing some conjectures and strategies for the troops, the Meeting was over.

They went to Prince Felix's residence after the King's palace. Glenn was a little worried about his mother. From Angel it is known that the border of the Witch Country has been controlled by the Orcs.

"You're back!" prince Felix was pleased, when he saw his son Glenn, walking over.

"Yes. The Crown Prince allowed me to return" Glenn replied.

"How are you doing, mom?" tanyanya shortly thereafter.

"Your mother is moody after news of the fall of the Witch Country's border. Especially since he can't even send any more messages since we received the news!" Prince Felix shook his head in dismay.

"I'll see you in the room." Glenn left his father who was still sitting reading.

A bodyguard knocked on the door of the room when he saw Glenn stepping towards him.

"Who?" ask for a voice from within.

"Prince Glenn," he answered.

The door opened, and soon laughter broke out. Glenn walked in with a big smile. "Daddy's looking for you, but you've been ahead of me!" he said when he saw his son Levyn sitting on the edge of his grandmother's bed and disturbing the old woman's rest.

"Thank God you're back!" his mother said, opening her hands.

Glenn walked over and embraced the mother lovingly.

"I have to find Cristal. His Majesty the King has already prepared a special force to depart tomorrow morning. Please permit me, Mother," he said

The woman nodded. "Let my grandson see you. Then find your uncle's family there. I can't tell them at all!"

"I will look for them, Ma'am," Glenn promised as he looked at his mother's eyes full of worry over the fate of his extended family in the Witch Country. ¹)
