The Adventure Of Eric (The Rescue of the Elf Princess)

The Adventure Of Eric (The Rescue of the Elf Princess)
8. Finding the Gilang Sword.

"What about that wounded elf?" ask the commander of the fairy state border troops.

"He will recover soon" replied the physician. The old man was busy taking care of another man, who they thought was part of the Witch Nation.

"But this man is very worried!" he added.

"I think I should ask the leader of the army in the city to tell this to the Witch Nation as well" the commander said.

"Maybe he was one of the messengers who picked up the Elf country and became a guide to return to their country. Unexpectedly intercepted an Orc in the street." The man who was with him gave an opinion.

"That makes sense." The commander of the army nodded.

"Do your best for her!" the commander's message before moving outside the healer's house.

"I have to get the other soldiers to tell me about this to the city" he said.

"Better like that. That way, then the Mage Kingdom also knew what had happened to that Elf princess entourage!" the paroh-aged man agreed.

"Are you really going to increase the number of border warriors?" ask the man again.

"Yes!" This news has already reached the Elf country. They must be sending an army to find the princess. And the Orcs will not remain silent. We must be on standby at the border, preventing the Orcs from escaping here. Also prepare medicines that may be needed!"

"You know, I'm getting more astonished at you. With this kind of wisdom, why did you choose an assignment on the border surrounded by forest, rather than a palace?" The man shook his head.

"It's too peaceful there!" katah.

"Didn't you miss your mother?" adjutant.

"To show that I love him, then I will help those Elves at the border!" says firmly.

The commander gave an order to one soldier to relay the news to the city. A messenger bird came to the middle-aged man. The commander looked only for a moment and showed no interest at all in the affairs of the man who was his bodyguard and adviser.

"Your mother sent me a message. Your uncle, Prince Glenn, left this morning with an army to search for his missing daughter Cristal.

"The missing daughter is my cousin?" the man's head was straight. His eyes stared hard.

"I'm going to the border now. If Uncle Glenn were to leave early in the morning, it was likely that they would pass by no man's land this afternoon." The commander hurried to his feet. Take a bow and put it on your back.

The paroh-aged man immediately followed. The delivery of a delivery bird to one of the soldiers. "Send a message to the palace. Tell Prince Adriel to guard the border with the Witch Country, wait for Prince Glenn!" command quickly.

"Good!" The soldier moved quickly to write a message, while the bird rested.

By the time he was done with his duties, the prince who was the commander of the border guard force had left the village. The place was quiet, and he was disappointed that he could not go to the border with half the troops there.

The group of fairy warriors stepped quickly towards the border guard post. While the commander has been taken missing by a middle-aged man who protects him. They went straight to the land boundary line of the two countries. Hoping to be able to help the Elf Prince if they had any trouble there.

An hour passed, the border with the Witch Country stayed another hundred meters. They were crossing a very dangerous cliff, because it used to be a stopping place for Orcs who wanted to trap crossers.

Horses galloped to enter the boundary of the Witch Nation. Prince Glenn raised his vigilance. If no man's land could be safely passed, then the news of the collapse of the Witch Country's border was not nonsense.

"Has Cristal and his entourage been framed at this border?" inner worried. No wonder the small army lost. They were already tired and lost their vigilance because the peerless Land could be safely crossed. "The Orcs are really sneaky!" his murmur held back the anger.

A commander mounted his horse, following Prince Glenn. "Don't we better take a break first, right here?" the question half screamed, beating the sound of the horse's legs.

"No! Very dangerous!" glenn Sahut.

"But our horses are exhausted!" the commander gave consideration.

Glenn did not answer. His attention was on something not far in front of them. The wagon carrying his daughter was already visible. His horse's pace slowed. The troops behind followed.

Glenn jumped down from the horse as his prejudice grew stronger. Randall followed down and protected Glenn. The other members of his army immediately brought their horses to protect Glenn from the possibility of being targeted by hidden arrows.

The commanders of the troops went down and checked. They also checked the abandoned carts by the side of the road. The commander was surprised. All the stuff inside is intact.

"Look over here! These items of offerings were still in their place!" his yell.

Glenn raised his head towards him and walked over to it. He could see, even Cristal's jewelry box, which was extremely valuable, was untouched by the Orcs.

"What's really going on?" another commander was confused.

"For what reason would the Orcs intercept the princess if they did not bring her the precious treasure?" ask another one.

"That means the goal is only the princess!" the other sahut.

"Does it make sense for them to show such clear intent?" refute the others wonder.

"really. Aren't they usually never satisfied to see precious and sparkling treasures?"

The questions and objections, caused Glenn to think about it as well.

"I found a dead Orc here!" shouted another commander from under the trees.

Glenn's risen. "Randal, save Cristal's jewelry!" his orders.

"Good!" randall answered quickly. He got on the train and took out Princess Cristal's jewelry box.

Glenn half ran away under the big tree. He had indeed seen an Orc that died horribly with a charred body.

"What's doing this is definitely not our soldiers!" point at.

"There are only two possibilities, a nation of witches helps. Or, the nation of the fairies who found the soldier yesterday did it," one army commander made the conclusion.

Glenn nodded. He walked to look around the tree and found something behind the bush.

"I found Gilang's sword!" His hand raised the sword of his wife's friend towards the commanders of the army.

"Then, where is he?" knock the other one.

Maybe he lost and was taken along with Princess Cristal, out of nowhere.

Glenn nodded back. That doesn't make any sense!" his objection.

"See this Orc. He died by another force. If Gilang is taken away by another Orc with my daughter, it means they leave this Orc alive.

"Then, what is the need for that man to kill an Orc, if not to save Gilang or my daughter?"

"Prince, the information received only says the Elf State Border Guard found ten soldiers dead and one seriously injured, as well as one woman. There is no information they found Mr Gilang or news he was alive or dead!" clearly one of the commanders.

"Additionally, the soldier survived and the woman was found on the ground running from this place!" A commander added information.

"Possibly, the commander of the army had one of the soldiers rescue the servant girl to the land of the Elves, while the other fought desperately!"

Everyone was silent to the analysis. Glenn stared straight at the dark forest that led to the land of the fairies.

"I want one of you to bring a small team and go to the border with the Fairy Country. Get accurate information from the commander of his guard force!" glenn.

Gaining glare from Glenn, the commanders quickly volunteered to become the group that left.

"Good! Get as much information! We will continue this journey until we find my daughter!" glenn said firmly.

"Good!" the man replied, He quickly arranged for some people to be sent to the Fairy Country in search of the correct information.

"It's an hour's rest, and then we're off again!" glenn's orders.
