Chapters 87. Dean Planning

 King Felix's face immediately brightened hearing Sofie's speech. He stood up and greeted Dean. “Welcome to our country, Leader of the Light Nation. Forgive if our reception is less pleasing,” said the king humbly.

The Queen, Angel and the other guests in the room stood up and bowed respectfully to Dean.

Dean's hand restrained the king's shoulder, so as not to bow. “Don't be like this. I'm not used to.,” he said.

The king stood up again and smiled at the man who was his son's age. “Then, let .. please sit.”  The king sat down first, so that others would sit down. Dean and Sofie sat back in their seats.

“Where are your sons, Eric and Robert?” ask king.

“Impard their sassness. But the two were still asleep there,” Dean showed a guilty face.

“It's okay. They've worked hard to save my people and didn't sleep for a second yesterday. Let them rest,” said the king.

“Take them to eat first,” says the queen.

“Oh I forgot we were at the dinner table. Let's eat. My stomach is hungry too.” The king invited everyone to eat.

After the king began to eat, the others followed. They ate and talked happily about what Eric and his team had done since he came. The Elf officials were full of high hopes with Dean's presence in their country.

“Let's talk in the meeting room,” invite the king after the dinner is over. So the group walked there.

But then Eric came along with Robert. “Dad,” call it.

Dean stopped and turned around, waiting for his son to come.

“Arjun and Hakon will be here. They have rescued several Elves and want to take them to the floating island of the refuge,” reported Eric.

“Come to the meeting,” take Dean.

Eric and Robert nodded, The group stepped back.

“Have you eaten?” dean asked Eric in his mind.

“Already, dad,” replied Eric.

Then Arjun and Hakon come with the Crown Prince. They followed her to the meeting room. Now many people gathered there, including the Elf country officials who had dinner together.

“Alright, since the Leader of the Light Nation is here, let's start talks between two countries.” The king began the meeting.

Dean nodded. “Your Majesty, may I speak first?” ask Dean.

“Of course. Please,” said the king.

“Sofie came up with a letter Eric made. The first thing we did there was to collect the ingredients and bring them here as soon as possible. I hope this can help this country survive.”

Dean flicked his hand to the empty floor that was in front of him. Foodstuffs were immediately piled up in the meeting room.

“Waahh ...,” exclamations Elf officials.  They're very relieved. They haven't seen that much food in a long time.

“Thank you for the help, Leader of the Light Nation,” said the king and crown prince.

“Call me Dean, Your Majesty. While this is what we can collect from the surrounding area,” Dean said.

“It's been very much. Thats okay. Eric gave an unimaginable solution earlier this afternoon.” The king smiled meaningfully at Eric.

Dean sighed then continued. “People you have to grow their own food they need. So you and the officials could focus on driving out the Orcs!” emphatically.

“Your suggestion is correct. After the people are evacuated to a safe place and have abundant foodstuffs, then they should be able to take care of themselves for a while.” The king agreed.

“Then how do we combat these Orcs? Our neighboring country does not even want to help for fear that his country will be the target of the next Orc invasion!” sela the crown prince.

“The problem of this country is not only the invasion of the Orcs, but also the abduction of Cristal. I think it's all related. So, we have to discuss and solve it simultaneously.” Dean gave his opinion.

The king and the rest of the room fell silent. That was the first thing that happened. The invasion and conquest of the Orcs were so fast, that they could not even think about Princess Cristal.

“Can you give the way out?” ask the crown prince.

“In my opinion, we should split some teams. HArus remains a team sent to search for Cristal. However, we certainly do not want if after fighting and finishing the Orcs here, then suddenly a threat appears by showing your daughter as a hostage!” obviously Dean.

“You're right.”

King Felix had to admit that Dean's thought was possible. The raid on the capital came after half the soldiers guarding the capital were deployed to search for Cristal. They had entered already because the crown prince and half the army were at the border. The capital fell just overnight!

“Orc must have planned everything, since they made a fuss at the border with the Blue Dwarf country. Prince Makota was sent there. From time to time the unrest increased. Make the king send half an army to sponsor the border!”

After that, they kidnapped Cristal. They must have guessed, the king would send enough soldiers to look for him. Everything is related. When the country is almost empty, they attack in and we immediately fall!” The king became upset himself.

The Elf officials were bowing. Even though they were very upset now, everything had already become porridge.

“Then how to divide our troops who live this little?” The crown prince was impatient.

“I want to send my son to find Princess Cristal. But there has to be a way for him, because we certainly don't know about this region at all,” Dean said.

The Elf officials were of the view, who would the king choose to look for Cristal.

“Choose the one who will not interfere with the course of the war, if he is not there,” Dean added again.

The king and the crown prince thought hard.

“I remember Prince Levyn. Does he know the way there?’ ask Robert.

“He can't go anywhere!” said the king and the crown prince in unison.

“Why?” asked Dean in wonder.

“Our country rules clearly prohibit a prince from leaving his post, if the prince on it is going to war. He should be ready to be lifted in my place if bad things happen!” obviously the crown prince.

Dean and Robert looked at. Dean nodded in disagreement. “What if the war rages on in the capital. Then you two are threatened, because both are in the capital? I think it only makes sense if the war is out of town. But now it's different. So you guys need to be separated!”

“In order for something to happen, then one is still there!” timpal Eric was quick as he flicked his finger. Dean nodded.

The king and the crown prince seemed to disagree with Dean's opinion.

Robert raised his hand to speak. “I saw the magic ability of Prince Levyn in the magic forest. Eric's gonna need it there. Because, even though Eric has great abilities, he's still a layman about magic bewitching. We will not endanger the lives of our future leader Candidate!”
