Part 178's. The Secretary of Energy 1
The deal happened, Sara was willing to work together to provide mitigating information, the Markson family was willing to become a sponsor for Mary Aides. But everything is still in process so the results have not been seen.
The most important thing is that we won this presidential election first. If we don't win it, it's impossible for Ms. Francoise to step up to the Secretary of Energy. So for a while, even though the Markson family had sponsored Mary Aides, the results were not yet visible.
Now the next day after Maureen's parents came to me, Allison called me.
"Sara, is it true what I heard from Thomas. Maureen kidnapped you while you were on duty?!" Four days later, Allison called me in the morning, almost screaming.
"Yes, he's in jail now." Lately I've had to go back and forth to the police station, Thomas' assignment, and the show. I don't have time to talk to anyone. "That's how it happened..."
"Geez that woman is really a psychopath. Dare to kidnap. Why don't you tell me, come on, tell me what's going on."
Because he was so excited I had to tell him in detail everything that had happened from start to finish.
"That's amazing. It's so cool."
"Getting into the trunk of that car isn't cool at all, which part you think is cool." I laughed he thought it was cool.
"Taste you Maureen is crazy, I'd be so happy to make this a gossip. I don't think he'll dare show up at the party even if he's in jail for a short time." Allison looked delighted that her rival would no longer dare to appear in front of her.
"You can't tell people about Allison's bureau assignment, just tell them my friend saw me kidnapped. Then report to the police immediately." I know Allison knows I'm an agent at the bureau, but obviously she's gonna have to be careful about the news otherwise it's gonna affect the bureau's secrecy.
"Yes okay, just calm down. So now he's got to be in jail? Didn't Mom and Dad come to you?"
"Of course they came."
"Yes they're offering me money, but they have to pay more than that."
"What do they pay for?" Allison became more curious of course.
"They paid Ms. Francoise's sponsorship for her nomination to the Secretary of Energy."
"Woow, that's amazing. You're sneaky enough to make them agree, but I think you're making them have no choice."
"Yes that's what happened. So it's kind of an unexpected blessing for me."
"Oh yeah, about the party invitations I've managed to get a table number for you guys. I sent the invitation to Francoise's house today okay."
"Oh well thank you Allison, I don't know how this works without you."
"Let's just relax, Ms. Francoise will see who her future daughter-in-law really is, you've got a sponsor for her and now you can talk to people she can't reach." Allison raised my expectations. The slow way to get out of this difficult situation seems to be open in front of us.

An invitation to a political celebration party to host a big donor will be held soon and as Allison promised, Sara and Francoise have got her invitation.
Sara and Francoise have essentially contributed so much because they found evidence of Alton Mason's betrayal that they could finish off Gensler at once.
