Part 68's. Negotiations 6
"So how do you want to call now." Francoise folded her hands in front of her chest. Waiting for Nicholai's decision after everyone was silent, and Francoise gave him a chance to think.
"I'll call." Finally he was willing to call his boss, now that the real negotiations are going to happen.
"good. Put the phone in front of me." Even though we don't speak Russian on the other hand the person who listens to us can definitely speak Russian.
Nicholai picked up the phone, pressed the numbers on his keys and before long he spoke Russian with someone on the other side. His face slowly looked depressed as he spoke to the person, his explanation filled with a low tone. There was chaos anyway. And the guy across there is mad at him. I don't know if he's the leader of this team, but apparently he isn't, there are nine more people we're tracking. After all, she's a dancer, not someone with a military background to carry out the responsibilities of the team leader.
"Our boss wants to talk to your boss now."
"I'm the boss, all deals will pass me by. I guarantee it's valid and trustworthy." Francoise had already made it clear that it was him who had to go forward because Thomas and his boss did not want to be seen.
"You're not the top guy. What a guarantee that you don't deny your own words."
"They listened to this talk, the person behind me and whatever is agreed here will be done including the release of your man. As long as we get you to act in accordance with the agreement then we will act the same." Francoise explained his position and tried to convince Nicholai to start negotiations.
Nicholai spoke directly with the person on the phone delivering what was said
Francoise.
"Tell me what the other side asks of you." Francoise immediately asked, he answered straightforwardly, it turns out our guesses were right, they were told to spy on a successful team, trying to penetrate the system and monitor rival data.
"Alright so that's the case, then I want you to replace sabotaging their data. If I get the data that I want, to bring them down, and I'm going to give you data of course it's data that can satisfy the other side, they won't be suspicious , I'll let go of three people if the data you gave me is correct."
"How do you guarantee he won't be suspicious."
"Because what we provide is real data but it will not affect us if it is given..We'll give you a special server for you to plow and you'll give us their original server."
"What's in it for us." Francoise burst into laughter hearing Nicholai's question.
"Fortunately for you, your nine men have returned safely and you have not caused any international incidents. You have no other bargaining power than that." Nicholai saw it with an unhappy face. "After all, you have nothing to lose, no one will find out there.
Nicholai conveyed what Francoise said to his boss, I heard his boss angry across the street.
After a tough bargain, an agreement was reached that the eight people would still be allowed in the US because they were basically embassy employees, boss Nicholai is willing to work together to trick the opposing sides in exchange for future business cooperation.
Eventually the meeting ended in agreement.
