Two months after Nicholai Manturov left, they began removing adware left on the phones of 4 people who were targeted by Russian spy operations.
Now Thomas's reporting because he found something on the two women they were watching closely.
"Katarina Pimenova and Shasha Khamatov, they are enrolled as master business students, but from their communication networks we hack and if we look at what's behind them, they are, we've looked through their contacts list we can conclude and we're lucky to conclude they have a lot of connections with people who are Russian spy networks here." Thomas told Nathan Garcia and Lyold Austin, his top two bosses.
"In addition to four hacking attempts to 3 chief engineers and one director Greylock Martin, in two days yesterday we noted they received a coded message that we don't know how to structure." A message consisting of 2000 words in Russian which is a narrative of the story. But his words were scrambled and only with a key they knew for themselves could they be translated.
"And after this message came, they reset all their communication and messaging tools. We no longer have access to their new numbers and their emails, obviously somehow they have a suspicion they are being spied on or a second possibility, he said, they carry out the basic protocol of trail removal and the initiation of new projects. But we have suspicions on two words in their communications before they shut down their old access, Black and White, it looks like they want to be involved in a six-month election gamble again."
"Russian bastard wants to get involved in the president election?! So brave!"
"Not our side sir?" Nathan obviously asked, they don't want to be misdirected, who knows what people in higher positions are planning up there.
"Obviously no! How dare they involve Russia in this. None of us dared to think that crazy. Except the other side that does have a lot of business with the Russians." Now Lyold Austin believes that their opponents are indeed plotting something with Russia.
"If it's true maybe we can take advantage of this sir." Nathan immediately saw an opportunity instead of being a problem.
"If it's not from our side it means from our side, but they don't know we can catch this reed. What if we make them work for us with the threat of arrest, but the other side of us only knows that they work for them. Such a reversal would greatly benefit us." The observant and intelligent Nathan quickly sees this as a great opportunity.
