"Yes. I went to the Bolshoi actually dabbled when we and our family returned to Russia for a while, apparently they immediately offered me a good contract. So I'm pretty happy to join them.

If I remember how my childhood dream of becoming a ballerina ended up being very winding and I finally realized my childhood dream was just a dream that was too beautiful.
Mother supported my ideals with all her energy and financial ability. But on the appeal of expensive school fees and what I get from dancing it doesn't feel comparable. Not until I get to the principal at least.
Imagine the rough calculation of a professional ballerina who started ballet school from the age of 5 years to 18 years and could join a ballet company estimated the cost we spent equivalent to US$ 153,000(approximately 2M) but at the soloist level we even just paid US$ 37-38,000 per year. You can only breathe when you reach the principal level with an average US$ of 75,000 - the highest US$ of 175,000 per year.
With struggles as hard as we had during training it felt like the results we got were really not worth it, obviously this ballerina is a difficult path.

I really want to be able to reach the principal soon, the cost of living in NY is expensive, this role means a lot to me, maybe this will make me able to rise le principal position." I laughed sweetly. I rented a modest flat in suburban NY for Mom and shared room apartment with my friend near the theater.
"NY is expensive. But there's plenty of opportunities here." For that it is true, the salary of ballerina in NYC Ballet is among the highest.
