With the girl clinging to his arm now and their two parents who are like finding a new toy. All he did was be polite at this dinner, this good friend plate should be explained as just a good friend.
He agrees that they're good friends, but that means a lot. Just a friend who is definitely not a lover. He told his mother he was not interested in improving family relationships.
Their parents engaged in another conversation in the study. And they are now in the pool area.
"Why are you here." Francoise looked at Maureen who was smiling at him. He never expected to meet one of the NYC Ballet's principal at a political dinner like this. Her mother wants her to come this time.
"I just want to see you again. You're arrogant now that you've got a new one." She once left Maureen for Sara, and Sara did target her.
"We're just having fun. You know we're just friends, I never promised you anything about our relationship." Francoise reiterated the status of their relationship.
"We're friends, our families are friends too as it turns out, so let's make friends even longer. What do you think."
"Maureen, we only had two dinners, and that was just for fun. You're just curious about me. And I think your curiosity is enough. After all, we haven't seen each other for a year and that's enough to be a sign that we don't fit in at all. You know from the beginning I told you it was just a one-night date. The second time is enough."
"I like you... I like you so much." It was said while biting his lips and twitching on Francoise's arm, and looking at Francoise with spoiled eyes and expecting his attention. According to him Francoise is very interesting, of all that he has ever been dating this meets all his expectations.

Now he sees this girl as a person who has no side of humanity and empathy. People raised with all the facelitas available to them sometimes never understand the meaning of the struggle of life.
"the struggle? I reached principal at 23." Yes, he reached principal at the age of 23, but his father was also a regular donor of the NYC Ballet. So a little bit of that too was because his father was a donor.
The proof is that he got a little spot in the main show. Not as much as the other principal. Phillpe had already warned him who this Maureen was, he knew being involved with him 2x was enough.
