“In the end, we actually did,” Xiang Shin sat on the bed with Huo Cai'er soundly asleep beside him.
The girl's face looked peaceful, even a thin smile was very clear on her lips. If Xiang Shin remembered the events before he did, he felt very uncool as a man.
He could not at all put out words to invite Huo Cai’er to do double cultivation. And it seemed like Huo Cai’er was quite sensitive so the girl took the initiative early until finally, everything went natural and they actually did.
“It looks like next time I have to be more ferocious,” Xiang Shin muttered inwardly.
“You're awake, brother Shin?” Huo Cai’er was now calling Xiang Shin as Xu Lingling called out to the young man.
“Ya,” Xiang Shin smiled gently, “oh yes Cai’er, I want to try if I am really immune to poison, so can you remove your poison?”
Earlier Xiang Shin felt a mysterious power enter his body while doing double cultivation with Huo Cai’er. That's why he wanted to test whether his teacher's words were true or not.
“Are you sure? What if you turn out you're not immune, I don't want to hurt you.”
“Just calm down, if I am really poisoned wouldn't you be able to neutralize the poison?”
“Alright then,” Huo Cai’er woke up, making the cloth covering his body sag until his two twin peaks were visible.
Xiang Shin's eyes were of course instantly fixed in that direction without him being able to control it.
Huo Cai’er noticed Xiang Shin's gaze, yet he did not mind it at all. It did not matter if the one who saw him was Xiang Shin, but if someone else then he would instantly kill him.
At the tip of Huo Cai’er's index finger, a green poison was collected. Slowly, Huo Cai’er made a drop of poison float near Xiang Shin's mouth.
“Although this is only a drop, this poison can kill dozens of Martial Overlord level cultivators.”
Xiang Shin unhesitatingly ate the poison then swallowed it. Huo Cai’er instantly prepared if only the poison had an effect on Xiang Shin.
“How is brother Shin?”
“I don't feel anything, like it's no different from regular water. Try with a more potent poison!”
“Good,” Huo Cai’er also issued a stronger poison but the result is the same.
Huo Cai’er continuously released stronger poisons gradually up to dozens of times but did not change the results at all.
Xiang Shin drank the poison. The first second did not happen anything, but in the second Xiang Shin felt the heat all over his body make his eyes widen, his veins became red like lava flows.
“Sister Shin!” Huo Cai’er wanted to neutralize the poison in Xiang Shin's body but the young man gave the hand condition not to do so.
Xiang Shin's condition returned to normal. He was already sweating with slightly irregular breaths.
“It seems that if the poison is too strong then my body will need time to neutralize it,” Xiang Shin is now conscious even though he is already immune to the poison, but the very strong poison still has an influence.
“You okay brother Shin?” Huo Cai’er looked very worried.
“I'm fine,” Xiang Shin nodded slowly.
After a while Xiang Shin pushed Huo Cai’er until it fell down and then crushed it.
“You want it again?” Huo Cai’er actually knew there was no need to ask that because it was very clear.
“Yes, before you started it made me look uncool. So this time I'll start.”
Huo Cai’er displayed her sweet smile on Xiang Shin.
“Alright, any minute we will part, I want to pamper myself with you before that.”
And the second session of Xiang Shin and Huo Cai’er fight began.

The following days passed, the Sacred Animal Sect held a big party as a farewell event with Xu Lingling.
The girl had the Cosmic Orb which was the supreme treasure of the sect, if she were to leave then the treasure would come along. The higher-ups of the Sacred Animal Sect had no other choice but to allow Xu Lingling to leave even with a heavy heart.
Xiang Shin and Huo Cai’er also followed the party. After the party ended, Xiang Shin asked the higher-ups of the Alliance to come over and discuss regarding the Core World.
Xiang Shin explained everything regarding that World Core and handed the decision to the Alliance higher-ups completely.
After that Xiang Shin spent time with Xu Lingling and Huo Cai’er for 2 months and finally the designated day came, the day on which they would begin their cultivation breakthrough and ascend to the Heavenly Realm.
