Ch.411 - Studying the Law of Time
Although the room was now filled with the World Core, Xiang Shin had no intention of cultivating there.
Although he absorbed all of those World Core realm would only provide a slight benefit to his cultivation. So it was better for him to leave it to his subordinates so that their cultivation could increase even higher.
All of Xiang Shin's subordinates took the most comfortable positions and began cultivating. While Xiang Shin himself went towards a passageway that was on the side facing the entrance of this room.
Without hesitation Xiang Shin darted down the passageway. Of course, he did not relax his vigilance because he did not know whether there was a trap or not in this place.
As far as Xiang Shin moved, he found no traps or danger. There was not even a crossroads or another passageway.
The passageway actually carried Xiang Shin straight forward as if it had no end.
“Is my perception compromised?” Xiang Shin felt that he had just walked through this hallway when it was clear that he had spent at least hours.
Xiang Shin decided to continue tracing the passageway. This time he felt something strange again.
He should have just moved a few kilometers but he felt that 1 week had passed.
“What's wrong exactly? Did I get into an illusion that made my perception disturbed?”
Xiang Shin spread Yin-Yang energy around him, hoping that the chaos energy could ward off the oddities that occurred.
But Xiang Shin did not feel that anything had changed. It doesn't seem like an illusion, but there is something strange.
Xiang Shin chose to ignore it and then continued on his way.
A few minutes later, Xiang Shin suddenly saw his surroundings change completely as if he was being moved to a different dimension.
The place had a twilight feel with many strange trees and flowers around it.
“What is this place?” Xiang Shin grew more alert, looking around but not finding a single sign of life.
Xiang Shin looked back, he did not find the passage he had just passed.
“What is this flower exactly? I can't feel any aura on this flower? This should not be an herb but somehow I felt a strange feeling upon touching this flower,” Xiang Shin noticed the flowers more thoroughly.
He jumped away, looking to the side.
“Wolf? But this is an ordinary wolf, right?” Xiang Shin frowned, how could there be any ordinary ferocious beasts in this place.
It was obvious that the wolf was an ordinary wolf, from the size of its body and its aura that did not emit anything.
But how could he move so fast that Xiang Shin was unaware of his arrival? There was no way an ordinary wolf could move that fast.
If not for Xiang Shin's powerful body, the attacks of ordinary animals would not have worked, he might have been injured by now.
“Grrrr...!!”
The wolf snarled then jumped towards Xiang Shin. Just now that the wolf had reached half the distance, its movement slowed down so that perhaps the snail could be said to be faster.
“What... happened?” Xiang Shin increasingly frowned.
He flicked his arm, cutting off the wolf's body.
“My perception is chaotic, a fast-moving wolf but it can slow down suddenly. Is it possible that this place is a dimension with a chaotic concept of time?” Xiang Shin had no other guesses other than that.
“Possibly all the herbs in this place are herbs that contain the laws of time. Since I know nothing of the laws of time, I cannot feel its aura.”
Xiang Shin watched the surroundings for a moment before setting up a defensive formation within a scope of tens of meters.
Xiang Shin meditated, focusing his mind, trying to try to understand the laws of time that existed in this strange dimension.
Time flowed like an endless stream of river water. The flow of river water can be faster if other water sources drain water into the river. It can also become slower if something is blocking its flow.
Likewise with time, time can run faster, it can also run slower. If in this dimension in the herbal law of time, then there must be some of them only act as an additional flow of water sources and also a barrier to sometimes fast running time can also slow down.
Xiang Shin started to gain a brief understanding of the laws of time before the ground suddenly shook making his concentration scatter.
Xiang Shin opened his eyes, he saw that there were already countless ferocious beasts surrounding his defensive formation. The savage beasts clawed even to the point of hitting him until a tremor occurred.
