Ch.396 - Hordes of Bullies
“Alright, you're the last one!”
Xiang Shin strangled the neck of the Illusory Butterfly so hard that the Illusory Butterfly could not make a sound.
Xiang Shin spent several days wandering around the Illusory Mist Forest, searching for the whereabouts of the Illusory Butterflies amidst the extremely thick fog.
Xiang Shin had absolutely no hassles killing the Illusory Butterflies one by one due to their cultivation far below him.
Now the Butterfly whose neck he was clutching was the last Illusory Butterfly. Xiang Shin also killed the Illusory Butterfly in the same way that it froze their hearts.
“Alright done,” Xiang Shin keeps the Illusory Butterfly body into his dimension ring, “now all the herbs inside this forest are mine!”
On Xiang Shin's journey looking for the whereabouts of the Illusory Butterfly, he saw so many herbs. The lowest was at the Immortal level and the highest Xiang Shin did not even know how high the level was. There were definitely herbs whose tier was above Immortal herbs.
Xiang Shin looked at his hands and arms, he only remembered now that he was using Xuan's body.
Xiang Shin was silent, blinking a few times, looking towards his chest. A moment later two twin peaks grew on his chest.
Xiang Shin was surprised instead of playing, he hurriedly disappeared the two twin peaks.
“Huh..just good thing is gone quickly,” Xiang Shin sighed.
Just now he just wanted to try out the abilities of Xuan's body that could change as he wished. Somehow he thought of the twin peaks and suddenly it grew to Xiang Shin's surprise.
“It's creepy. I can't imagine if my real body had two such things,” Xiang Shin removed the shadow of the incident and focused on his main goal of collecting herbs.
With the spirit of Xiang Shin started harvesting all the herbs in the forest.
Xiang Shin used the earth element to get the herbs to be uprooted from the ground then used the wind element to bring them closer and then stored them into the dimensional ring.
There were many herbs that Xiang Shin had never had before, so sometimes he would try researching the herbs for a moment before storing them.
After an unknown amount of time because Xiang Shin was too enthusiastic about harvesting herbs, he stopped taking herbs and then darted off in a certain direction.
Xiang Shin landed near a mushroom herb that had a slightly strange shape.
The aura contained in the mushroom was extremely powerful, even its energy density exceeded that of a star that Xiang Shin had once absorbed.
Xiang Shin's knowledge of herbs was now only limited to the level of an Immortal Overlord. From the understanding and knowledge he gained while leveling up, none of them could pass the Immortal Overlord.
“Well, for the herbs above Immortal Overlord, I can ask Xiang Shui or Xiang Lan later. They come from the Human Dimension so definitely know more things than me.”
Xiang Shin wasted no time and continued harvesting other herbs. It took up to 1 full month for Xiang Shin to harvest all the herbs in the Illusory Mist Forest.
“Finally done as well, all the herbs I've already got. Only this illusory mist remained,” Xiang Shin took out the storage furnace he had already used to store the star before.
By doing hand seals, Xiang Shin sucked all of the illusory fog into the storage furnace. Xiang Shin could have needed it later so it was better to take it.
That fog that was so thick it continued to be absorbed into the storage furnace.
1 week passed, the illusory fog was still not finished in absorption but it was seen that the fog was not too thick.
“Heh.. It seemed like there was a horde of bullies approaching,” Xiang Shin could feel the aura of the approaching Spirit Beasts.
They must have long been eyeing the herbs that were in the Illusory Mist Forest, but due to the illusory fog that was so thick, it could not make them enter.
Now the illusory fog was thinning so they immediately moved closer to the Illusory Mist Forest.
“Yes, I don't need to think about them because my real body will take care of them,” Xiang Shin even accelerated the absorption of the illusionary mist.
Meanwhile, Xiang Shin who was from the beginning sitting cross-legged on the clouds now opened his eyes.
Xiang Shin stood up then stretched his body, “ah. But it seems like someone wants to accompany me to play for a moment.”
Xiang Shin jumped from above the clouds. A Spirit Beast eagle passed underneath him and Xiang Shin landed right on top of the bird's head.
The eagle spirit beast was startled as it could only feel the presence of an alien being after the alien creature landed on its head.
Xiang Shin focused the energy on his fist then struck the head of the eagle Spirit Beast.
The Spirit Beast eagle lost its balance then plunged freely downwards.
