Ch.395 - Illusory Butterfly
After harvesting quite a number of herbs, Xiang Shin still did not find a single Illusory Butterfly.
“Perhaps their numbers are few, these forests are also very vast so the chances of finding them are not great. After all I was still on the outskirts of the forest, the Illusory Butterflies must be in the middle of the forest,” Xiang Shin muttered then he darted into the forest.
Xiang Shin moved at medium speed, looking at the surroundings meticulously. There were countless resources, of course Xiang Shin wanted to take them but he wanted to look for the existence of the Illusory Butterfly.
Xiang Shin had thought of a way to harvest all of these herbs easily and without much constraint. The first thing he had to do was look for the existence of the Illusory Butterfly.
Xiang Shin suddenly stopped, then descended and landed on the ground. He frowned looking at the bone skeleton that clearly belonged to the dead Illusory Butterfly.
“Well, after all they are Spirit Beasts so have no habit of burying their dead comrades,” Xiang Shin went on his way.
At first he felt that the skeleton of the Illusory Butterfly bone was not a strange thing. But now not because he saw there were other skeletons in various places that he passed.
“Is it possible that all the Illusory Butterflies in this Illusory Fog Forest are extinct for some reason?”
After quite a long flight, Xiang Shin finally saw the existence of the surviving Illusory Butterfly flying over the herb garden. The Illusory Butterfly was seen taking out a kind of powder that came out of its body and fell on the herbs.
Xiang Shin with lightning speed shot out, in an instant he was before the Illusory Butterfly. Before the Illusory Butterfly was aware of Xiang Shin's existence, Xiang Shin's hand had already grabbed the Illusory Butterfly's neck.
“What the fuck? Why are you attacking me all of a sudden?!” The Illusory Butterfly tried to escape but it was useless.
His cultivation was only at the Immortal Emperor level, it was impossible against Xiang Shin with Xuan's body being at the intermediate stage Immortal Lord level.
“You better be quiet and calm, don't fight so you don't feel pain!” Xiang Shin instantly used his technique to search for information through the memories of the Illusory Butterfly.
Illusory Butterflies scream in pain. He tried to fight back but it made him feel even worse pain.
After a few minutes, the Illusory Butterfly fainted from not being able to endure the pain in its head.
The Illusory Butterflies loved the herbs they planted so much that they did not want to consume them to strengthen their strength or cultivation.
In the end the number of Illusory Butterflies continued to decline over time and weakened further as they did not want to consume herbs.
The dead Illusory Butterflies will be placed in the middle of the herb garden as fertilizer because the body of the dead Illusory Butterfly will decompose into a unique energy that spreads so that the herbs can be faster growing and developing.
That was why Xiang Shin often found the skeleton of the Illusory Butterfly bone that was in the middle of the herb garden.
Now the Illusory Butterflies in this forest only numbered 50 and the strongest among them were at the level of an early stage Immortal Ancestor.
“It will be easier. Knowing the benefits of your body I so want to bring the bodies of you all as fertilizer for my herb garden later!” Xiang Shin concentrated cold energy on his index finger tips, “I will make you die without feeling any pain.”
Xiang Shin directed his index finger which was enveloped in cold energy to the chest of the Illusory Butterfly. Cold energy directly entered the body, hitting his heart until it froze instantly.
With a frozen heart, there was no way the Illusory Butterfly could survive, he was instantly killed and Xiang Shin instantly stored his corpse inside the dimensional ring.
“Ah if Xiao Ling finds out what I did to this rare Spirit Beast, she will definitely be very angry at you,” Xiang Shin considering how Xu Lingling dotes on all Spirit Beasts.
Out of nowhere he was now, Xiang Shin was not too worried because the life crystal Xu Lingling had on him was still burning brightly which meant that his wife was still fine.
Xiang Shin also darted in search of other Illusory Butterflies to hunt. Xiang Shin intended to kill all the Illusory Butterflies then make their corpses as fertilizer later.
From the memories that Xiang Shin had obtained, each one of the Illusory Butterflies was in a different place, guarding their respective herb gardens.
Exterminating them would be very easy but it would take time as they were scattered in various corners of the forest.
