Ch.303 - Xi Yang VS Jin And
“They're coming! Prepare!” Xi Yang exclaimed as his gaze captured so many black dots that were the Jin Dynasty troops.
Xi Yang saw a sword light energy darting rapidly towards the Western Fortress.
A cold aura enveloped Xi Yang's body until the surrounding area was covered in ice. He twisted his sword together with the ice Snake that formed.
As Xi Yang made a piercing move, the giant ice snake shot out with a loud hiss. Eventually the two attacks collided causing a cataclysmic explosion.
“Who attacked earlier? If only I had not prepared from the beginning by gathering energy, my attack would have been destroyed then the enemy attack would have completely hit the Western Fortress,” Xi Yang estimated that the one who attacked earlier was Jin Zhu Huang.
Not long after the loud explosion occurred, Xi Yang saw someone darting rapidly towards the Citadel.
“Xi’er! Activate formation array!”
“Good.”
Simultaneously with Xi Meng Xi performing a hand seal to activate the formation, Xi Yang darted forward welcoming the person who came.
In a blink of an eye the two were already facing each other.
“XI THAT! DIE YOU!”
Jin Dan concentrated the light energy on his right palm.
Simultaneously Xi Yang also concentrated cold energy on his fist then both of them carried out attacks simultaneously.
The clash between the tread and the punch caused light energy and cold energy to spread out in all directions. Every object that was exposed to light energy instantly shattered while the one that was exposed to the cold energy froze completely.
As for the Xi Family's troops, they were still safe as they protected the formation array.
After a moment of pushing each other, Xi Yang and Jin Dan were both thrown backwards.
“You are quite excited as well huh, Jin Dan,” Xi Yang pulled out his long sword.
“Xi Which! You rebellious bastard! Truly daring to oppose the Jin Dynasty. Have you forgotten how all this time the Jin Dynasty helped the development of your Xi Family?!” Jin Dan brandished his sword.
“Of course I remember, I won't forget how you guys set up cultivation limits for us through all the resources you give.”
“Why? Surprised? If it wasn't for you guys being afraid of our martial Soul potential, you wouldn't have given us that damned resource, either,” Xi Yang took out his Martial Soul which was a one-horned white snake with 4 legs like a dragon, “now has come the time of vengeance!”
The White Dragon Snake floated upwards then slid downwards, entering into Xi Yang's body.
As Xi Yang's body expanded, white scales appeared on his body with one horn in the middle of his forehead. The vertical pupils and two fangs make Xi Yang look like a snake, especially with his long white tail.
“What is it?” Jin Dan frowned, this was the first time he had seen the change of martial soul owner to such an extent.
As far as Jin Dan was concerned, if the 4 Great Families did unify with martial souls, they would not have any real change like the current Xi Yang.
Xi Yang's strength was completely different, was this the strength of a martial soul owner if it had already broken through to the Immortal Ancestor level? It was only fitting that Dinasty Jin gave them a limit up to the level of an Immortal Emperor.
Suddenly Jin Dan saw Xi Yang was already right in front of him.
“Very fast!” jin Dan's body was coated in light energy and then he moved backwards.
However, Jin Dan's legs were wrapped by Xi Yang's tail and then thrown down.
Jin Dan regained his momentum before hitting the ground. But Xi Yang reappeared in front of him, gripped his face then slammed Jin Dan's body onto the ground.
“Damn it!” Jin Dan was furious, he blasted the light energy in his body until Xi Yang's hand clutches were released.
Jin Dan pointed his right hand at Xi Yang's stomach.
*HOOOMMM!!
Instantly the light energy exploded until Xi Yang's body was thrown far away. Jin Dan took advantage of the opportunity to move at a distance.
“The body is very strong,” Jin Dan muttered after seeing Xi Yang completely unharmed.
Indeed, Jin Dan did not spend too much power because if the explosion was too big then he would be affected.
But that light energy had a stronger destructive effect among the other elements, getting a crushing but unharmed attack already proved that Xi Yang's body was already as strong as the Spirit Beast.
“It turns out that one of the Jin Dinasty Elders has this kind of power alone. Not as per the rumor that said the Jin Dinasty Elder had an unattainable sky-high strength,” Xi Yang smiled full of provocation.
