Ch.605 - Shen Long VS. Mammon
The fight between the two forces happened very far from the fight of the leaders. Despite that, they could still feel a wave of destructive power as a result of their fight.
Though at this time they were only warming up, yet to unleash their serious strength. Dragon God Shen Long must face Mammon alone while the others form a two-man team to face one enemy.
Belphegor faced White Tiger God Bai Hu while Leviathan faced Zhu Que and Qin Ming.
*BAAMM!
Shen Long successfully kicked Mammon's stomach until it bounced. He looks to be frowning afterwards.
“This creature is really troublesome. Attacking him seems useless because when the attack hit him then my energy can he take.” Shen Long muttered inwardly. “But I have a special energy that can damage an opponent if they are touched, but he instead takes it raw.”
Shen Long took out a sword with a blade of bright green color. The sword aura was centered making it look like it could split anything.
The sword is the heirloom of the dragons. Each generation, the dragons had to hand over a single drop of their blood to the sword, making blood to forge the sword, in exchange for the aura from the sword being able to purify their blood.
That sword will continue to get stronger with the generations. It had been a long time since the last time the sword had been used, whether it was how powerful the sword was now, even Shen Long did not know about it.
“Mammon, enough to play around.”
A green aura enveloped Shen Long's body, he began to transform into a dragon-man form.
“Good sword, I want it. But the attack must be amazing, let me get it!” Mammon spread out his hands, as if intending to receive the incoming attack.
His greed was completely insane for even wanting to get an attack from his opponent.
“Receive your death!” Shen Long moved as if breaking through space because he was already in the presence of Mammon.
Shen Long passed through Mammon after launching a single slash that cut the demon's body into two pieces.
“Hahaha outstanding sword.” Mammon was still able to laugh with his current condition. “I..”
He suddenly fell silent as his mouth felt stiff to move. His body began to fuse like ash covered in the wind.
“My sword can cut the thread of the universe, the enemy of powerful beings. Every being gained the power of the Dao of the Universe and it was always bound like an invisible thread. Immortality included!..
My sword can cut the thread of immortality tied to the Dao of the Universe until you no longer have that immortality.” Shen Long turned to look at Mammon who continued to fade away. “Now accept your death.”
Shen Long slightly frowned when he saw Mammon actually smiling.
“Yah.. is amazing, but unfortunately your sword force is useless against me now.”
“What? How is it possible?!” Shen Long was shocked. “I should've cut the thread of your immortality! How can you still regenerate?!”
“You did, but now I get my immortality not from the Dao of the Universe.”
“Not from Dao Universe? How could there be a power that did not come from the Universe Dao?” Shen Long frowned.
“That means your knowledge is still very shallow.”
A sinister demonic silhouette appeared behind Mammon. The silhouette then entered his body. The form of the Great Demon Sin underwent a change.
“It... Cosmic energy, does he have a Cosmic Orb?” Shen Long muttered with a vigilant attitude.
“Hah. I want to obtain the power of the Primordial Demon again but unfortunately every demon can only hold one Primordial Demon.”
Mammon did a union with his Primordial Demon. That way he would gain Primordial Demon power and be able to use Cosmic energy.
Not only that, Mammon's entire ability would be bound to the Primordial Demon, breaking away completely from the Dao of the Universe.
“Primordial Demon? Was it a creature that was said to live with a Primordial Beast? Isn't that just a myth?” Shen Long muttered inwardly.
The aura Mammon gave off felt very different, it even made him feel depressed.
“Now Shen Long! Try to attack me with your full power! I've never tried to fight in this form before!”
“Basic Bride!” Shen Long darted, instantly before Mammon, slashing his neck.

The slash of the Azure Dragon Sword was as if it was slashing through impregnable steel, not even a single scratch.
Shen Long immediately jumped backwards as his attack was simply not effective.
“How are you..”.
“Hahaha! It turns out to be true. Every single one of the Primordial Demon had already surpassed the Dao of the Universe. While the power that you use comes from the Dao of the Universe. So there's no way you can do anything using the power of the Universe Dao on a creature that has already surpassed it!..
Shen Long, that means you have no possibility of winning as long as your strength is still using the Dao of the Universe. Your defeat has been determined.”
