Ch.443 - The Palace of Light
Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan had no more business in the Lower Region, so they would return to the Human Dimension, bringing Xiang Shin to the Palace of Light to be treated.
Xiang Shui took out a kind of steel slab with formation carvings that looked extremely complex.
It was a cross-dimensional artifact that could bring them back to the Human Dimension.
If they were to travel directly towards the Human Dimension, it would take many years to arrive with. Using the artifact, the two of them were able to arrive quickly.
Xiang Shui activated the artifact. Instantly an energy vortex was created. Without wasting any time, the two of them jumped into the energy vortex.
Now they're moving through the dimensional passageway. Xiang Shui had already used space techniques to coat himself and Xiang Lan to keep them from separating.
Within a few hours, the two of them finally walked out of the dimensional passageway, arriving at a room.
“Finally we return to the Palace of Light, let's have to quickly find Mom!”
Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan quickly walked out of the room. They came to a halt when they just opened the door as they looked at the figure of the beautiful woman outside who was standing with a gentle smile.
“Thank God you two can return safely, mom is so happy!”
The woman who was none other than Evrilia was hugging Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan.
“Mom can feel before if you use the two jade crystals that I gave you. Is it true that there is a powerful enemy that can force you to use that jade crystal?”
“Mother, we..”.
“Ah forget mother's question, you must be tired right? Mother has prepared food, let's eat together and you can tell what has happened,” Evrilia did not give her two children an explanation, grabbed their hands and then pulled both.
“Mother wait a minute!” Xiang Lan stopped her mother.
“Mother, we currently have no time to relax. We need help Mom!” Xiang Shui couldn't possibly relax while ‘his’ was dying.
Evrilia looked at her two children, she was silent because it gave them a chance to explain.
“Wait a minute!” Xiang Shui disappeared from his place, entering into a small dimensional ring.
He took Xiang Shin's body filled with bandages and immediately came out.
Evrilia was quite surprised to see how her son disappeared then appeared carrying a mummy-like body.
Evrilia did not see Xiang Shin's face because all parts of her body were wrapped in bandages so that not a single inch of her skin was visible. The energy in Xiang Shin's body was also depleted so his aura was not felt, there were only remnants of the Cosmic Yin-Yang energy radiance.
Despite being curious who it was, Evrilia guessed that it was a friend of her two children. So he wasted no time in asking.
Xiang Shui took Xiang Shin to a nearby room, putting his body on the bed.
“Can mom cure it?” ask Xiang Shui.
“Mother will try. Now you guys better wait outside so mom can focus.”
“Good.”
Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan nodded then walked out of the room.
Evrilia's expression turned very serious.
“How can there be Cosmic energy in his body? Was he exposed to Cosmic energy radiance? She is very lucky to still be alive until now.” Evrilia tries to drain the light energy.
“This will be difficult,” Evrilia muttered softly as her energy was suppressed by the remnants of the Cosmic energy.
Evrilia opened the bandage on Xiang Shin's body slowly, starting from her right arm. His expression grew more serious seeing how his skin cracked like the ground that was hit by a powerful earthquake.
Evrilia opened the bandage until her chest then rose to her neck, beginning to look at her chin and mouth.
For a moment he stopped when he saw the mouth before continuing to open the bandage, but Evrilia looked slower.
The nose began to look and Evrilia's hands trembled, she became slower until finally the bandage on the eyes was opened.
Evrilia's tears instantly dripped, she was speechless with trembling hands.
“It turns out this is really you..” Evrilia really wanted to touch Xiang Shin's cheek but seeing how he was injured, she could only hold back while biting her lower lip, “why are you hurt like this for protecting our two children?”
Evrilia was completely powerless to hold back tears. After being separated for so long, they were met in this situation.
Evrilia rubbed her tears, her face turning full of determination.
“Just calm Xiang Shin, I will do anything to cure you!”
Evrilia took out an Elixir and helped Xiang Shin drink it. He then diverted the spiritual energy, making all the energy from Elixir flow throughout Xiang Shin's body.
Evrilia started the process to expel the remnants of Cosmic energy in Xiang Shin's body.
