Ch.416 - Finding a Way Out
Xiang Fei was cultivating as his father commanded. Occasionally he will stroke his ears that are still reddened by former jewels Xiang Shin.
Sometimes Xiang Fei would be seen smiling to himself. I don't know what he's thinking but he looks happy. Maybe he thought about how cute his father was when he was his age.
Xiang Fei continued to cultivate until he opened his eyes upon hearing voices from his father's room.
Feeling that something was amiss, Xiang Fei stopped cultivating and walked to the front door of Xiang Shin's room.
*Tok tock!
Xiang Fei knocked slowly on the room door. He was taught to knock on the door before entering someone else's room.
“Dad, is dad inside? Did something happen?”
“No.. no...”
Xiang Fei heard Xiang Shin's moaning which made him become worried. He slowly opened the door, his head peering into the room to see what was happening.
Xiang Fei was surprised to see Xiang Shin who was sweating coldly with flowing tears, his body was trembling and kept muttering the word ‘not’.
“Dad!” Xiang Fei immediately ran to the side of his father's bed and held his hand firmly, “dad, is dad sick? Is this because of Fei’er who was naughty earlier?”
Xiang Fei did not know what to do other than to tightly hold his father's hand with his two tiny hands. Seeing the current Xiang Shin made her tears also flow.
“No.. no.. don't.. don't leave me..”
Xiang Shin's body trembled even more, making Xiang Fei even more afraid if something bad happened to his father.
“Father take it easy, Fei’er will never leave father,” Xiang Fei wiped her tears.
Xiang Shin had already opened his eyes when Xiang Fei said that.
Xiang Shin immediately woke up and hugged his daughter tightly as if he did not want to lose her.
Somehow he felt relieved when he hugged Xiang Fei. Maybe the dream is a sign... No, Xiang Shin turned his head to those negative thoughts. He would never let his family die. He will protect them all.
“Fei’er, you promise never to leave dad?” Xiang Shin did not let go of his embrace.
“Of course dad, Fei’er will always be beside dad and always look after dad.”
Xiang Shin felt relieved, he subconsciously hugged even tighter.
Xiang Shin regained his senses and let go of his embrace.
“Ahaha, forgive dad.”
“Daddy is okay, right? Is dad sick? Dad was crying, is it because Fei’er did naughty?” Xiang Fei quickly asked.
“No Fei’er, the father just had a bad dream. No need to think about it!” Xiang Shin stroked Xiang Fei's head gently, “Fei’er, continue your cultivation, father will be out for a while.”
“Un, but dad don't be long!”
“Of course, father is unlikely to leave Fei’er long-long alone.”
Xiang Shin came out of the tree house. He had been in this strange dimension for a long time without finding a way out.
On the way Xiang Shin met several Spirit Beasts but all of them could be overcome easily because those Spirit Beasts were in the mortal realm.
Xiang Shin those Spirit Beasts could not develop too high because the timeline in this dimension was extremely chaotic. It was possible that their cultivation dropped many times due to the time flow that was pushed back as Xiang Shin had previously become a child and lost his cultivation.
Xiang Shin was certainly not looking for a way out himself, he took out all of his billions of Daonya Swords.
If any of those Dao Swords encountered anything strange then they would send out a signal and Xiang Shin could directly teleport to it.
After several days of searching, one of the Sword Dao sent out a signal. Xiang Shin immediately teleported to where the Dao Sword was.
Xiang Shin looked at a 5-meter tall pillar with a circle nearby. He came down to look at the circle closer.
“This is a teleportation formation array but it has been broken inedible by age. It's not a problem because I can fix it. The problem is that I do not know where the destination of this teleportation formation array is headed.”
Xiang Shin Palace was very mysterious, there were many strange places. It could be that later he will be thrown into a place that is far worse than the chaos dimension of this time.
“Despite so no harm in trying,” Xiang Shin also fixed the teleportation formation.
Xiang Shin did not use it right away. He marked the place so that he could come here at any time later and then he returned to the tree house by teleporting.
Xiang Shin looked around, he was surprised when he did not feel the existence of Xiang Fei inside the house.
“Fei’er, lest he go outside!”
