After hugging for quite a while, they finally let go of the hug.
“Your relationship with the children seems to be very good, I can see in advance how they are so worried about you. I'm glad they already know her father,” Evrilia smiled gently.
“Uh.. that, I guess they still don't know their father.”
“What do you mean? Don't you guys know each other?”
Xiang Shin sighed, “Do you know what they both think of me now? They think I'm their father's illegitimate son.”
“Eh?” Evrilia's forehead shriveled, clearly she started to get confused.
Xiang Shin tells how he first met Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan until he ended up being considered a brother by his own son.
Evrilia's reaction was beyond Xiang Shin's expectations. The woman actually laughed at him to the point of holding his stomach in pain. It reminded Xiang Shin of his teacher's not much different reaction when telling the matter.
“Again why did you even perform as an illegitimate son of your own son's father?” Evrilia managed her breath after laughing for so long, “and you now call Lan’er by the title of big brother, hahaha.”
Evrilia laughed again. Xiang Shin could only smile wryly.
“You know my situation at that time was also confused and not sure if they were my children. Anyway you just imagine how I could instantly believe having an older child that I don't even remember when to make. So stop laughing!” Xiang Shin gently nudged Evrilia's forehead.
“Alright, but now the problem is they already really think of you as a brother. How would they react if they found out their brother turned out to be their father?”
“I don't want to imagine it. But I need your help to convey this truth.”
“You don't want to explain yourself to them? All of you can apologize for deceiving them all this time.”
“If I dare then I've explained it a long time ago. I have a plan so they don't get mad at me, so you have to follow my plan!”
Xiang Shin explained how his plan was and Evrilia listened intently.

Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan were still waiting outside the room for an entire month. They were very worried about Xiang Shin so they could not calm down if they had not gotten good news from their mother.
When the door opened, the two of them immediately stood up to their mother who had just exited the room.
“How is Brother Shin's condition, Mother?”
“Mother, Brother Shin can be saved right?”
Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan immediately asked.
The woman's expression looked gloomy, looking down with a difficult expression. This made her two children even more tense.
“It's really difficult, although his condition is slightly improved but I'm not sure for sure if it can save his life,” Evrilia closed her eyes, a drop of tears streaming from her right eye.
“Mother, why are you crying?” ask Xiang Shui.
His mother shouldn't have known Xiang Shin so why would she cry?
“How could you not be sad, your father is dying. Tell mom, how did your dad get so badly hurt like that?” Evrilia patted the shoulders of her two children.
“What...mom mean?”
“Our father? Who do you mean?”
Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan were made even more confused.
“Of course Xiang Shin, he is your father, you guys should already know each other right?”
“Hah?!”
Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan were completely shocked to the point of being speechless hearing their mother's statement.

They both don't know what to say.
“But... mother, Xiang Shin.. isn't he our father's son? He should be our brother, right?” xiang Shui said.
“Why do you think like that? I can't possibly mistakenly recognize your father, he is indeed your father.”
Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan fell silent.
