Ch.503 - Father VS Son
The battle between Yin Litian and Tang Yong ended with the defeat of Yin Litian.
Tang Yong had only used the 3 Paths of Reincarnation to defeat him. But for the first time in Tang Yong's fight in this tournament, he got an injury. Although the wound was nothing but it showed that Yin Litian was stronger compared to Tang Yong's previous opponents.
Yin Litian returned to where her group was. He seemed disappointed by his wealth.
“It's okay baby, the important thing is that you've tried. Besides, you still have a chance.” Li Yiren tried to calm her husband down.
Indeed, among the 7 remaining participants, 5 will win the main prize.4 of the 7 participants will fight for first to fourth position, while the fifth position will be contested by 3 other participants.
Yin Litian still had a chance even though the chance was very small.
“Ya, thank you Ren’er.” Yin Litian smiled gently, she was happy to have such an understanding wife as Li Yiren.
“It is better that you immediately restore your condition first,” Li Yiren gave Yin Litian as ah pill.
Yin Litian received it then sat down cross-legged after taking the pill his wife gave him.
As Elder Gong Lang announced the participants who were going to fight in the next round, Xiang Shin and Xiang Lan looked at each other as they were alone who was going to fight.
Xiang Lan smiled sweetly but clearly her smile was not a good smile. The girl jumped onto the arena without saying anything.
“Daddy, be careful.” Xiang Shui patted his father's shoulder with a smile.
Xiang Shin sighed then followed his daughter up the arena. He landed not far in front of Xiang Lan.
“I won't hold back!” Xiang Lan put up the horses.
“Ya, I know.” Xiang Shin replied briefly.
The moment Elder Gong Lang started the fight, Xiang Lan immediately shot out in a single footstroke.
His fist had been coated with 7 elements that mixed into a centralized one with high concentration. Xiang Lan without restraint, smashed her punch right at the face of her father.
Xiang Shin did not look intent on dodging, he only remained silent until Xiang Lan's punch meticulously hit his face.
Xiang Shin bounced to the point of crashing into the walls of the arena boundary formation. He also fell to the ground, had lost balance for a moment because of dizziness.
Blood was seen coming out of Xiang Shin's nose, he rubbed then smiled faintly.
“Oh, strong punch Lan’er. It almost made me faint.”
“Why didn't you dodge earlier?” Xiang Lan stared intently at Xiang Shin.
He held back so that his hands would not tremble. It was not because of the pain of hitting Xiang Shin but because he was afraid, afraid if only his punch had killed his father.
Xiang Lan had actually exerted all of her strength to hit Xiang Shin's face as an outlet of her vexation. When he saw that his father was not moving, he thought that maybe his father was planning something to avoid.
I don't think he really accepted it. Xiang Lan was certainly surprised, her hands trembled for a moment but she felt relieved when she saw that her father was fine.
“Didn't you always want to hit me in the face? So I gave you that chance. How's now? Are you satisfied.”
Xiang Lan did not react, even though she actually wanted to cry right now. He seems to have hated his father wrongly. He really loved her even to the point of letting himself vent his frustration by hitting her in the face.
“You.. you stupid dad!” Xiang Lan shot back towards Xiang Shin.
Because of Xiang Lan's unreasonable feelings, he was to the point of not being wary of his surroundings, forgetting that he was now in a fight.
A circle of portals was created in front of him. Xiang Lan widened her eyes but it was too late to react. His body entered into the circle of portals.
After half his body entered, the circle of the portal shrank to the point of getting him stuck there.
Xiang Lan tried to break away but she could not. If he mastered the laws of space, it would be easy to break free.
“Let go of me!!” Xiang Lan stared intently at Xiang Shin after his attempt to break away was fruitless.
“I could've let you go, Lan’er. But of course after you give up.”
“Damn it! I will never give up!”
“Then I can wait until you feel bored.” Xiang Shin sat cross-legged in front of Xiang Lan.
After a few minutes of effort but could not escape, Xiang Lan sighed.
“I.. surrender.” Xiang Lan finally chose to give up.
“Well, if you're not stubborn, you won't be stuck there too long, Lan’er.” Xiang Shin widened the circle of portals until his daughter was able to get out.
Xiang Lan snorted then returned to her seat after Xiang Shin's victory was announced.
