Ch.460 - Register
The Heaven Temple Sect was one of the great powers of the Human Dimension that was in the western region. The Heaven Temple Sect controlled thousands of galaxies, they stood at the center of one of the largest Galaxies, the Dharma Galaxy.
Despite using a special spaceship, Xiang Shin's group could not possibly make it in time to the Dharma Galaxy because it was indeed very far away, so they stopped by several galaxies to use cross-galactic formation arrays to shorten their distance instantly.
Even so, they still needed a full 10 months to arrive at the Dharma Galactic Center.
Xiang Shin's group stopped at one of the big cities not too far away from the Heaven Shrine Sect. They are looking for lodging as a stopover.
Qin Qiaoyu who had always been traveling without any sense of calm, now felt happy because he felt free. He invited Xiang Shin to take a walk around the city, but Xiang Lan did not want Qin Qiaoyu to go alone with Xiang Shin, so he asked to come along and force his brother to come too.
In the end Qin Qiaoyu's plan of wanting to walk together with his teacher failed by Xiang Lan.
But he still felt happy to be able to go here and there freely, buying many items such as clothes, jewelry artifacts and others.
After walking around the city for a full day, they returned to the inn then went to the Heaven Temple Sect with Elder Hua Yin and Elder Wu Ming.
Of course they have to register before taking part in the tournament. They also need to find information about what events in the tournament and know who the participants need to be aware of.
Upon their arrival at the gate of the Heaven Shrine Sect, they saw many cultivators coming in and out. All of them were wearing different robes or uniforms, indicating if they were from different sects.
They had to pass some special checks to obtain entry permits into the sect. They were escorted by one of the members of the Heaven Shrine Sect towards the registration place.
Upon arrival in the spacious area, there are thousands of floating floors on which sits the committee with their respective work desks.
“Show this token to the committee before registering!” the members of the Heaven Shrine Sect who escorted the group of Xiang Shin gave out a token.
This token is proof that they have passed the examination.
Elder Wu Ming received the token then the Heaven Temple Sect member cupped a hand and left.
Xiang Shin's group flew towards one of the floating floors, they landed in front of the committee's table.
“We from the Sacred Animal Sect and the Palace of Light,” Elder Wu Ming showed the token he had just received.
The organizer who was a young man with a late stage Immortal Overlord level cultivation was staring at Xiang Shin's group.
“Welcome to our Heaven Temple Sect, senior. Before that, I want to explain some of the terms. The age of the participant should be below 1000 years and his cultivation should be at the Demi-God level of the lowest initial stage and the highest final stage.” The man smiled kindly cupping his hands.
“Then we only need 4 because they will sign up!” elder Hua Yin said.
The man also kept two other crystals. Xiang Shin, Qin Qiaoyu, Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan took each one of the crystals then drained their energy.
It didn't take long for the crystals to emit light, a sign that they were qualified. They handed the crystal back.
The young man issued 4 jade tokens, “name each of you!”
“Xiang Shin.”
“Qin Qiaoyu.”
“Xiang Shui.”
“Xiang Lan.”
The four of them called out names, the man did a hand seal then the four jade tokens let out a light. A few moments later the light disappeared.
“This is your participant token. One token, one point. Remember not to lose because it will make you automatically disqualified from the tournament! And don't forget to come back 2 months more.”
The four of them took their respective tokens then flew away from the registration area.
“About what will the challenge be like in the tournament huh?” Xiang Lan wondered.
“Tournament has started.”
“Eh?”
Xiang Shin's words made not only Xiang Lan astonished, but also the two Elders and Qin Qiaoyu. While Xiang Shui looked ordinary because he seemed to have noticed it as well.
“When we have registered and get jade tokens then the tournament is automatic in start.” Xiang Shui's.
“Ah so it turned out so,” Elder Wu Ming already noticed it.
“Ya I didn't expect the tournament would be a little different than usual.” Elder Hua Yin.
