Alan was still chatting with his classmate when Amaira came to see him.
"Cie.. has been picked up by a boyfriend." Tempta Gibran Alan's classmate.
"The anterine hunt returned home, sentar disconnected nyahok lo. He's a source of money." Sindir Koko with his spicy mouth.
"I swear, I'm really jealous of Alan. Put on pellets what the hell is he until he can get a beautiful girl ples tajir kayak Amaira?" Joni chimed in while gelding the head gel.
Not once did Alan get a spicy sneer from his friend who was jealous of his luck. But Alan tried to ignore all that. In fact, he was very lucky. Poor guy who can girlfriend dirty twisting.
Alan hurriedly entered all his books and took Amaira home.
"Can't I just stop working in class?" Alan asked in an annoyed tone as they reached the car.
"Why is Al angry?"
"Lo, what are they saying? Everyone quirks me Ra."
"Do not enter the heart of Al. Think of the wind, don't be shaken."
"Such a boy you say that. My ears are normal Ra, I can shake everything. I'm not a bitch." Jerk Alan while glaring.
"Kok you so vent to me gini anyway Al. They're wrong why are they mad at me?" Say Amaira with glassy eyes. "I'm always wrong in your eyes Al. You never learned to understand me." Amaira's tears began to fall. He actually could not be yelled at. Since childhood he was treated like a princess. No one spoke rudely to him.
But since being with Alan, things have changed, he's gotten used to being yelled at and ignored.
"Crying, crying, very crybaby lo. Habits, little bit cry." Alan took a tissue and gave it to Amaira. "Pipetan netin tears ama snot lo. I don't want mama lo nanya macem to me if you see your eyes moist."
Amaira immediately wiped away her tears. "Gue laper Al, we're looking for yuk's food."
"Where?"
"As far as you."
Alan immediately drove his car out of the campus area. And now, they're at a rawon rice stall. Since dating Alan, Amaira began to eat in simple stalls.
After ordering two servings of raw rice, Alan returned to his desk carrying two bottles of mineral water.
"Al look at it." Amaira showed a photo of Rain and Sean in Labuan bajo that was uploaded on social media accounts.
Alan looked at the account. It looks like the account belongs to Sean, because his name is @Sean_2335 . Alan doesn't know if Sean has another account. He used to look for Sean's ig account. And he found an account @Ocean_Kalandra that contained only photos during meetings or during business trips. Alan thinks it's Sean's only account. Now he just found out if Sean has another account that is more personal. And it turns out that the account has a lot of followers.
"Elo Sean's follower?"
"Hehehe." Amaira answered with a small grin on her lips. "It's because of my friends who ngefans same brother Sean. I actually didn't, just follow them to follow Sean."
Sean is an alumnus of the college where Amaira and Alan attended. Sean is very popular, making him a lot of followers, especially from among girls.
"Gemes really look at their photos. We go there yuk Al, nyusulin them."
"Yes, the time we went there, Ra. You think Labuan Bajo is a deket? Far away, it takes a lot of money." Omel Alan while stirring the hot raw rice freshly delivered by the waiter.
"His, I'm not stupid, Al. I also know it's far away, Depok, get here." Amaira rolled her eyes.
"Why do you keep going there? I don't have any money Ra. If you want to invite me ngedate, deket deket here only. To monas, if not to Ancol." Said Alan while eating raw rice that was still hot.
"Lecturer to mulu monas. We're going to Labuan bajo ya Al, Please...." Pinta Amaira with a puppy eyes expression for Alan to melt.
"My saving can be lost if we go there Ra. I've been eating spit, he said earlier laper."
"No need to think about money. I can use my money. The monthly money given by Arya never runs out, even to the stack in my account." Amaira began to eat her food..
"I don't want to use your money. I'm a guy, cook with his girl's money, shy of being embarrassed."
"Who is the same? the only one who knows is that I'm the same as you. I have no problem with Al. What I have all for you is also not papa. I'm sincere."
"No, I said no. You're a girl don't like that dong Ra. Don't all play games to guys. If the dapet guy is not real, you're out of Ra's diporotin."
Alan sighed then put down his spoon. "They're Ra's honeymoon. It's not good to bother them." Alan kept looking for an excuse so that Amaira would not take him to Labuan Bajo.
"Al, I also really want to honeymoon like them. Marriage to yuk."
BRUSSSHHH
Alan who was drinking water spitting in his mouth so surprised to be invited to marry.
"Alan.. slovenly." Amaira immediately wiped her face with a tissue due to a spray of water from Alan's mouth.
"Sorry Ra, sorry. You have ngagetin me. Kidding me, make me hang."
"I'm not kidding Al. I really want to make sure you marry."
Alan gawked at Amaira's expression that looked solemn. Like, the girl really invited him to get married.
"Not to be too high. College has just entered marriage. I have no intention of a young marriage. Still want to graduate college continue to work until the success of the first new marriage."
That's something that's impossible for us Ra. We're so different, and I can't possibly marry you. Lo it's princess Ra, I'm just your lackey. I'm self-aware Ra, I won't be able to be happy. Girls like you won't be able to live in the heat with men like me.
Amaira put down her spoon and then looked down.
"I'm afraid I can't wait that long Al. I'm afraid God called me before you graduated college and became a successful person." Amaira's eyes began to glaze over.
"I don't like you talking about that. You must be healed. Bang Arya will do whatever it takes to heal lo Ra. You have to be excited, not desperate like this. All diseases have a cure." Alan held Amaira's hand on the table. He knew the girl in front of him was very fragile. It's just that Amaira was always so strong-witted.
"I don't know myself, Al. I know the disease and want to die, still kepedean ngajak you marry. Marrying a girl like me is just a burden. Yes, I've always been a burden to everyone." Amaira tried to restrain herself from crying, but her chest was too tight that she could not resist except by shedding tears.
"I don't think that's Ra, really." Alan shifted his seat next to Amaira so as to wipe away the girl's tears.
"Why don't you want to marry me? Because you can't love me yet?" Amaira asked as she stared into Alan's eyes.
It's not like Ra can't love him yet. But I always held back from falling in love with you. I've always been rude to you let you give up on me. But in fact, you have absolutely no intention of giving up.
"What would you eat if I married Ra? College just wants second semester. I can't possibly live you."
"You'll work as my driver Al. There is income, I promise I will live a simple life with you. Eat tofu, tempeh every day I have no problem."
Alan grinned at Amaira's words. The girl has been rich since birth. He doesn't know the rigors of life. He doesn't know how hard it is to make money. That girl is pretentious and can live a simple life. But he never experienced it. He was not strong for a week.
"If we get married, I'm not your driver anymore Ra. Cook her husband on the paycheck as a driver?" Al bobbing head.
"You asked for office work to Arya's brother, easy."
Alan pushed Amaira's head with his index finger.
"Developain first thought you just thought marriage. Life isn't that easy, Ra."
"So you really don't want to marry me?" Amaira asked with a look of despair.
"I want to."
"Really?" Amaira immediately smiled and hugged Al's waist. He was so happy that he didn't pay attention to the people who saw him.
"I want to marry you, but after you've healed."
Amaira immediately let go of her embrace. It feels like being flown upwards and then just thrown away.
"That's the same as you don't want Al. Because I won't be able to heal." Amaira threw her gaze in another direction.
"Can Ra, I'm sure you can. You have to be optimistic. Many cancer survivors eventually recover. If you really love me. Prove Ra, prove that you can heal. Would you marry me?"
Amaira nodded quickly.
"I don't want to be a widower at a young age. So you have to heal first we just got married."
