Nora felt today was different than usual. He couldn't concentrate in school, his mind drifting in a direction he didn't want to. He remembered the words of the man that made his heart flutter at once confused. Whatdoes thatmean? Is he serious? Was he just kidding?
He didn't realize he was the center of attention in class. No one dared to disturb him or gossip about him. All the students know that Nora is a beautiful, smart, and kind girl. He also never got involved in any problems, even when the case dragged his name.
The teacher who was teaching also looked at Nora with a worried look. He knew that Nora was his favorite student, who was always active and diligent in class. But today, he looked lethargic and moody. The teacher wanted to ask what happened, but he did not want to interfere with the teaching and learning process.
"Nora," called the teacher's mother in a soft voice.
Nora was shocked and rose from her daydream. He saw the teacher looking at him with a warm smile. On top of his desk, there was a blackboard eraser that he had to bring to the front of the class.
"Sorry, Mom. I won't repeat anymore" Nora said in a soft voice. He felt ashamed because he was caught daydreaming in class.
"It's okay, son. I know this is the first time you've done something like this. Maybe you are thinking a lot" said the teacher with understanding.
Nora smiled faintly and walked to the front of the class carrying a blackboard eraser. He felt grateful that the teacher was not angry with him. He hopes this day will end soon.
The home bell finally rang, signifying a time of rest for the disciples. Nora immediately cleaned her bag and prepared to go home. He wants to meet his mother and tell her everything that happened to him.
"Nora, let's go to the mall! I buy you what you want to eat! I want to buy you new clothes too!" take Giselle, her best friend since childhood, with enthusiasm.
Nora turned her head towards Giselle and Yudha who were already standing next to her. He saw worried expressions on their faces. They must know that he's not okay.
"Thank you for the invitation, Gis. But this time I can't follow you. I want to meet Mother first," replied Nora politely.
Giselle frowned. He felt that Nora was always closing herself off from them. She was always open with Nora about everything. He wanted to help Nora through this difficult time.
"You sure you don't want to come with us? You don't have to fear anything, we're going to temen lo," Giselle tried to persuade.
Nora shook her head gently. "Gue sure, Gis. I just want to meet Mother. You see, Mother today must bring good news for me."
Giselle breathed. He knew that Nora was an independent and mature person. He does not like to trouble others with his problems. But Giselle is worried that Nora will get worse if no one accompanies her.
"Okay, if that's it. But you promise, if you have any news of me or Yudha. We are friends, you don't have to be ashamed or afraid of us" Giselle said seriously.
Nora nodded. He thanked Giselle and Yudha who were always there for him.
Nora says goodbye and walks out of class. He saw some students who greeted him kindly. He smiled and returned their greeting. She was relieved that they still respected her as the school goddess, even though the case had carried her name.
Giselle and Yudha stared at Nora's departure with mixed feelings. They wanted to follow Nora, but they also didn't want to bother her. They hope Nora can return happy without any burden of mind.
"Yudha, how about we go on a date? We have not been together for a long time" suggested Giselle spoiled.
Yudha smiled and grabbed Giselle's shoulder. "May, baby. Is there a place you want to visit?"
"Gue know there is a new cafe that is said to be very good. Her name is Luna, across the park near our school. He said the place is very romantic, especially at night. There are moonlamps and stars that make the atmosphere magical" Giselle told me enthusiastically.
"Well, that sounds interesting. Let's go over there!" take Yudha with spirit.
Giselle and Yudha walk into the cafe Luna, a favorite place for teenagers to spend time together. The cafe is famous for its beautiful and romantic decorations, especially at night. Small moon and star-shaped lights adorn the ceiling and walls of the cafe, creating a warm and magical atmosphere. The name of the cafe is taken from the legend of an alpha who found his mate named Luna, a beautiful and strong woman who became the queen of all wolves.
They had just wanted to get inside the cafe, when suddenly they heard a loud noise from inside.
“Hey, don't move!”
“Ah, yes. Sorry, Brother.” Yudha hurriedly pulled Giselle's hand and looked for an empty seat. He just didn't want to find trouble this time.
They chose to sit near where the baristas worked, hoping to talk to Giovanni later. However, before they could say hello, a young man with black hair came up to them with a notebook.
“What message do you want?” ask the man politely.
He is Ervin, the younger sister of Giselle who also works at the Luna cafe. Giselle doesn't like him, as he always annoys Nora and snatches Giovanni from her. The man is like a prank in his life.
“Americano one, Vanilla Latte one, same Red Velvet Cake. We just got that message, Vin. Thanks,” Yudha replied kindly.
“Wait a minute I will drop you here,” said Ervin with a thin smile.
Ervin was about to leave, but suddenly Giselle withdrew her hand and looked at him with a sharp gaze.
“Since when did Bang Gio work here? Why does he have to work in a kayak gini place?! It must be because of you, right?” giselle said with a cynical tone.
Giselle was angry because she knew that Giovanni was not poor and had a lot of money. Giovanni was the eldest son of a wealthy family who owned a large company other than the Nora family. He shouldn't have to work hard like this.
“Sorry this doesn't suit my work. Your family affairs can be resolved privately,” Ervin replied calmly.
Ervin doesn't want to get involved in the Giselle family. He just wanted to work quietly to raise money. He had absolutely no dealings as the man who made Giovanni work.
Giovanni who saw the incident immediately left his job and walked towards the table of Giselle and Yudha. He pulled Ervin's hand and looked at his sister with a cold look.
“If there's a problem don't vent it to my adek, Gis. Just so you know why I do work here,” said Giovanni while crouching to be on par with Giselle.
“Originally you know all that because of you, motherfucker. Because with your presence, it makes me difficult. I have to work for my pocket money which was cut because lo,” whispered Giovanni in a low tone.
Giovanni said it with great annoyance and heartache. She feels disrespected by her parents who always pamper Giselle and ignore her. He also hated the girl all his life.
Giselle was shocked to hear her sister's words. He felt guilty as well for never knowing this matter. He could only look at Giovanni with teary eyes. He ran out of the cafe and pulled out his cell phone. He looked up his parents' number and called them.
But no one answered. He waved his hand and rode in a passing taxi. He did not care about Yudha who shouted to him. He had to meet with his parents and demand an apology from them.
He arrived in front of the company building owned by his family. The place where his father and mother worked. The place that will be passed down to Giovanni and himself.
He entered the building in a hurry. He did not notice the employees who greeted him. He went straight to his father's room. There he saw his father and mother talking seriously. They were shocked to see the arrival of his beloved daughter.
“Dad! Mama! What does it mean to cut Bang Gio's pocket money?! You don't know because of that Bang Gio has to make money out there!” giselle shouted with tears flowing.
“And it made Bang Gio so hate Giselle,” Giselle added in her heart.
His father and mother immediately embraced Giselle and calmed her down. They were so panicked to see her beloved daughter crying sobbing.
“Daddy's princess should not be sad. Later the beauty is gone,” said her father gently.
“Iya, Daddy. But Daddy's promise with Mommy doesn't repeat that anymore, right?” giselle asked in the warm embrace of her parents.
“Iya, what is not for our daughter,” said her mother fondly.
