The Unexpected Twist
Piano Emotion

Nora feels something has changed in her since the incident that left her injured. He was no longer close to Ervin, the man he had always considered his younger brother. He prefers to spend time with his friends or be alone in the music room. He was no longer as friendly and cheerful as ever. He even ignored Ervin who was trying to get close to him.

Ervin was confused by Nora's attitude. He did not know what he had done wrong to her. He felt guilty and sad. He felt that Nora did not need him anymore. She felt that Nora hated her.

One day, as he and Giovanni were about to go to class, he heard a loud and angry piano sound from the music room. He wondered who was playing the piano with that feeling. He asked Giovanni to go first, while he peeked into the room.

There, he saw Nora pressing the piano keys violently. Next to her were Giselle and Yudha who tried to calm her down and advise her. But Nora doesn't care. He continued to play the piano with emotion.

Ervin was surprised to see Nora like that. He had never seen the girl so angry. He could feel how hurt Nora was from the music she played. Music that voices disappointment, pain, and anger all at once.

Yudha and Giselle finally decide to leave Nora alone. They hoped Nora could calm herself down. They walked out of the room and were surprised to see Ervin standing at the door.

"Ervin's? What's going on here?" ask Yudha astonished. Shouldn't Ervin be in class?

Giselle looked at Ervin cynically. He believes Ervin is the cause of all Nora's problems. He hates Ervin who has made his best friend turn into a person full of anger.

"Lo see for yourself, right? You've made Nora like that! You made Gio stay away from me! It makes my life miserable! Lo child ******! You must be ...." Giselle throws harsh words at Ervin, but he is prevented by Yudha who pulls her hand.

Yudha apologizes to Ervin for Giselle's behavior. She knew Giselle was emotional because she was worried about Nora. He hoped Ervin would not be offended.

Ervin just smiled bitterly by clenching his hand. He doesn't want to argue with Giselle. He just wants to know what happened to Nora. He decides to enter the music room and approaches Nora, who is still sitting at the piano.

He dares to stop Nora's piano playing by pulling her hand slowly. He is shocked to see Nora's fingers are red and scuffed because it is too hard to play the piano. He felt sorry for the girl.

"Sir Nora, don't believe me again. Later your hand hurts," said Ervin gently while stroking Nora's hand.

Nora pulled her hand from Ervin's grip in annoyance. He did not want to be touched by the man. He felt that the man did not care for him. But he also felt tired and frustrated. He finally put his head on Ervin's lap and closed his eyes.

Ervin was silent by stroking Nora's hair slowly. He let the girl lean on him and rest from all the chaos in his heart and mind. He wanted to know what made the girl so sad and angry. He wants to help her.

"Gue's tired, Vin. I want to disappear from this cruel world" whispered Nora in a soft voice. He grabbed Ervin's hand which stroked his hair and placed it on his cheek. He felt the warmth from the man's hand.

"Sister, never give up on the dreams that always adorn the heart and mind of your brother. Even though you feel tired and hurt by the cruelty of this world, do not stop fighting. Take a break, but get back up with a new spirit. The world is full of challenges and obstacles, especially to good-natured people like you. Remember, my brother is not alone. There is always watching over brother from above, there is always loving brother from within. Brother is the light that illuminates the darkness, brother is the hope that defeats despair. Brother is a winner who deserves to be happy" Ervin said with a sweet smile while holding the girl's hand.

Ervin could see if the girl's eyes were twinkling. She was glad that the girl could finally smile at him. That sweet smile could finally break the ice wall that kept them from talking to each other.

"Thank you, Ervin. You are very kind to me" said the girl in a soft voice.

"Lo was also very kind to me, brother. I'm happy to be your leaning spot" Ervin replied warmly.

They both looked at each other meaningfully. They sense something is growing between them, something more than friendship.

Nora sits on a park bench with Giselle without Yudha at the moment. The two of them sat down to eat their favorite ice-cream while chatting. He knew lately his best friend was worried about him.

"Ra, why the hell are you kayaking? I was scared of it" Giselle said, staring at the children who were still at school.

"Now I can't tell you, Gis. It's my family's secret so I'm sorry," Nora replied by hugging her best friend's body. Not that he did not want to share with Giselle and Yudha, but he just did not want to burden them with his problems.

Giselle was finally silent. If Nora's family affairs are indeed very sensitive. Nor does he want to look deeper into his best friend's family affairs if Nora doesn't want to tell a story. It is also the same as Nora, the difference is less open.

"Yeah, we're home! Take a break, Ra. You must be tired, right?" take Giselle by holding her best friend's hand.

They walked through the school ceremonial field. He saw Ervin again talking to the PMR girl. He only sighed by pulling Giselle's hand.

"Eh, who's Ervin, huh? I just found out that Ervin deket is the same girl besides lo, Ra. Maybe they're dating?" giselle's clueless chirps made Nora go back to being in the mood.

Nora walked away from Giselle without answering her question. It hurt to see Ervin with another girl. He didn't know why he felt that way, but he and Ervin were nothing.

"Gue doesn't like Ervin!" nora's objection in the heart.

Giselle who saw Nora's reaction immediately caught up with him. He knew something was wrong with his friend.

"Ra, wait! Don't be angry, dong. I just want to" said Giselle, trying to calm Nora down.

"Lo doesn't understand, Gis. You don't know anything!" nora snaps with emotion.

The students' spies began to be directed at them. They gave way to Nora who looked angry and upset. They are again confused by Nora's actions.

Ervin who heard Nora's voice immediately ran towards them. He pulls Giselle's hand to follow Nora's steps. Giselle was silent at last by rolling her eyes.

"Sir Nora why else?" asked Ervin with worry.

"I don't know if he's angry all of a sudden" Giselle replied with a sigh.

The two of them finally could only resign with a sigh of anger. It felt like Nora was like a person who again pms and did not want to be disturbed. Instantly Giselle remembered something by opening the calendar on her phone.

"Oh, gosh! I forgot it's Nora pms week!" giselle exclaimed with a pat on her eel. He forgets this important thing where he has to be extra patient and careful to face Nora who is very sensitive and irritable.

"Lo don't worry anymore. I already know the reason" Giselle said, showing Ervin her calendar.

"But ..."

"Bye, sana! Don't bother me!" giselle shouted by pushing Ervin's body. In the end they parted ways with Giselle who caught up with Nora.
