The Unexpected Twist
Surprise in the Corridor

"Eh, Ra! Our corridor isn't there!" Yudha screamed when she saw Nora walking across the ceremonial field instead of turning to the right.

Nora took a quick step away from the scorching ceremonial field. He did not care about Yudha's cries reminding him that the corridors of their forces were in the opposite direction. He simply pointed forward, towards the white-door room guarded by a group of disciples wearing red vests. They are members of the PMR who are ready to help anyone who is injured.

Nora is not alone. He was accompanied by Ervin, Giovanni, and Yudha. Ervin had just gotten into a fight with another student due to a trivial matter. Ervin's face was the most severe, full of cuts and bruises. Nora feels guilty because she made Ervin like this.

Arriving in front of the UKS room, they were greeted kindly by PMR children. One of them pulled Ervin's hand and took him inside. Nora followed in her footsteps curiously. He wanted to know who would treat Ervin.

Inside the room, Nora saw a cute girl with long hair and narrow eyes was carefully cleaning the wounds on Ervin's face. The girl looked solemn and focused, while Ervin smiled widely and occasionally teased the girl. They both looked so intimate and friendly.

“Lo know him?” nora asked without being able to hide the envy in her voice.

“Kepo lo, Nora. You do not have any relationship with Ervin until you have to know all the problems,” cut Giovanni with a cynical tone. He did not like to see Nora who always meddled in other people's affairs.

Nora turned her head towards Giovanni and smiled widely with sarcasm. He did not want to argue with that arrogant upperclassman. He looked back at Ervin and the girl, who was still joking around without caring about the people around him.

Nora felt like a mosquito among the sweetness of flowers. He felt he was not considered at all by Ervin, even though he had tried to be his best friend. He remembered how he had felt the same way when Yudha was dating Giselle, Giovanni's sister.

Nora pulled out her phone from her uniform pocket and looked at the clock on the screen. It's almost eleven o'clock in the afternoon. They had wasted quite a long time here, even though they still had to serve punishment from the BK teacher because of the fight earlier.

Yudha looked at Nora's annoyed expression and held back her smile. He patted Ervin's shoulder to signal it to be finished soon. Ervin was surprised and apologized for making them wait a long time.

Nora walked out ahead of them, without saying a word. Yudha shook her head in wonder. He knew Nora was a patient and friendly girl, but it seemed like this time he was really upset.

“Where did we get to?” nora asked as they reached the eleventh grade corridor. He wanted to finish this sentence so he could go home.

“All the front pages of the eleventh class should be cleaned until kinclong. I'm just as he'll be watching you up close,” Giovanni's orders while appointing Yudha as his partner.

“Don't try cheating or running away, yes! I won't feel sorry for you guys!” added Giovanni while looking at Nora and Ervin with a sharp gaze. He will not give them the slightest respite.

Nora nodded slowly and took the broom that was in front of the class. He chose to clean the part of class XI IPA 5 through XI IPS 3. Ervin and Yudha could only look at him in confusion. Nora looked friendly and warm, now she was cold and cold.

“Friends are crazy, yes?” sindir Giovanni while looking at Nora who was busy sweeping. He was surprised to see the girl change her attitude so quickly.

“Meanings lo?! Don't look for trouble, yes!” yudha's snapping is always emotional when dealing with Giovanni. He didn't like that the upperclassman was bothering his friend.

They both remained silent without saying any more. They parted ways to keep an eye on Nora and Ervin who were working hard. Both of them focus on their tasks without complaining.

Time passed quickly, but Nora was still busy sweeping through. He did not care about the dust that flew into his face or the sweat that soaked his back. He just wants to finish his job as soon as possible.

As they were turning their backs on each other, Nora accidentally hit something hard and sturdy. He looked over and it was Ervin's back. Ervin also turned his head and smiled awkwardly. He thought Nora was angry with him because of the incident.

“Nora, see what you do! You've washed many times but there's still a lot of dust! Lo lost to Ervin, but he's a guy! I don't think, whereas you girls should be cleaner than Ervin!” giovanni's scolding while pointing at Nora.

Nora could only smile bitterly at the words of Giovanni who insinuated his work is still lacking. "yes, I know that my work is still lacking. But you know my own life has been treated like a Queen. So I never touched or cleaned like this" he replied in a calm tone.

Giovanni fell silent, unable to refute Nora's words any longer. The girl was always biSa to turn things around with her wise words.

Nora walked back to clean up the mess that was on the classroom floor. However, without him noticing, the border floor was slippery as the bucket filled with mop water accidentally pushed its feet as their bodies clashed against each other. In an instant, he fell hard, causing a quite surprising sound, although not to disturb the class residents who are studying.

Nora was still sitting on the floor. His gaze was blank, as if he could not believe what had just happened. Ervin who saw immediately approached her and helped her to stand up, but the girl seemed to still be in a daze.

Ervin flicked his finger in front of Nora's face. Then Nora regained her senses and looked at Ervin's worried face. As soon as his face turned red, he felt ashamed instead of being flabbergasted.

Yudha ran slowly towards Nora. la kept asking her friend, but Nora seemed to prefer to be quiet. He looked anxious, but the wounded man was not his head, but Nora looked dazed at the moment.

Giovanni laughed at the sight before his eyes.he saw Nora, the always authoritative girl who was also a goddess Prestige at school, slipping on the floor and sitting still like an insane person. he did not believe that Nora could do such an embarrassing thing, let alone in the presence of Ervin, the guy he liked secretly. Giovanni feels this is a rare moment he should enjoy.

"Oh my goodness, Nora. You must be so embarrassed. Do not need to be asked again, certainly embarrassed," said Giovanni while closing his mouth so as not to laugh too hard.

Ervin embraced Nora's limp body and lifted her onto his shoulder. The girl muttered and lashed Ervin's back with her weak hands. But Ervin doesn't care. She smiled as she felt Nora hide her face behind her neck, as if embarrassed by her condition. Nora's warm breath blew Ervin's skin, giving him goosebumps.

“Temp me, Vin. No need to go anywhere,” whispered Nora in a soft voice. His arms were tightly coiled around Ervin's neck, as if afraid of losing grip.

Ervin paused for a moment, then chuckled. He turned his head slightly and looked at Nora with sparkling eyes. The girl lowered her head again, the red on her cheek. Ervin sighed and lowered Nora carefully. He patted her on the shoulder and said, “Quietly, I won't leave you.”

They are again busy with the task of cleaning the dirty school floor. Nora this time worked seriously, sweeping every corner of the room meticulously. He did not want any dust left, especially after the incident that made him feel guilty to Ervin did not forget the embarrassing incident earlier. Ervin was also no less diligent, he wiped the floor in the appropriate direction. They work well together and quickly, without much talk.

Nora saw Ervin walking towards the exit of the eleventh grade corridor after finishing cleaning the floor. He ran slowly and pulled Ervin's wrist gently. He smiled awkwardly and said, “Still.”

Ervin frowned, confused by Nora's sudden remark. He asked, “What are you doing?”

“Thank you because I even got into trouble. I don't even know how to reply,” said Nora with shining eyes.

Ervin smiled sweetly and ruffled Nora's hair gently. He said, “Neither reply, Brother. I just do what I have to do.”

Nora stared at Ervin's departure with a smile. He held onto his messy hair and muttered, “Apaan, anyway?”
