The Unexpected Twist
Two Different Sides of the Cafe

With a gontai move, Ervin clung to Giovanni's arm. They were both subjected to curious and pity stares from the cafe visitors who witnessed the incident earlier. However, they seem to be indifferent to the views of others. Ervin just lowered his head, covering up his embarrassment and pain.

A small middle-aged man ran up to them. He carried a P3K box in his hand and placed it on a nearby table. His face looked worried at Ervin and Giovanni's condition.

Nora smiled kindly to the man, but only got an awkward smile in return. He could feel the distrust from the man, whom he suspected was the manager of this cafe.

“Nona, better you go now or I'll call the police. You don't bother these kids anymore,” said the man in a firm tone.

“Sorry, Sir. I think you misunderstood. I was not part of those who. I'm Ervin and Gio's schoolmate, and I happen to be here,” Nora denied with a sweet smile.

The man was still hesitant, but eventually he relented and left the P3K box on the table. He also took care of his employees who started working again after the uproar.

Giovanni picked up the P3K box without saying anything. He began to clean and treat the wounds on Ervin's face carefully. Nora just silently watched the two of them.

“Ervin ... They still often bother you?” asked Nora with a heavy breath.

“No, Sister.” Ervin answered briefly, as if he did not want to discuss it further.

“But earlier ..”

Before Nora could continue her words, Giovanni threw the used cotton at her. Nora catches him by reflex, but he gets annoyed at Giovanni's cynical expression.

“Yes, because you Ervin lately is safe at school. But out there they are still looking for opportunities because you are not beside Ervin when outside school,” said Giovanni in a cold tone.

Nora nodded slowly. He knew Giovanni's words had a point. But he also can't always keep Ervin from the bad guys. Ervin himself should have dared to fight, not silence like helpless.

Nora has a plan to change everything. He would do something that other students would never think of. But it was a secret that only he knew for himself.

Nora turned towards Giovanni in surprise. His face was also full of bruises and wounds. He was not involved in the fight. Then why does he look worse than Ervin?

“Sister Gio does not want to cure his wounds?” nora asked as she pointed at the P3K box on the table.

Giovanni just shook his head slowly. He pulled Ervin back to work as usual. They both have secrets they don't want to share.

Nora pulled out her phone hesitantly. He typed something and sent a message to someone. But he only got a reply that disappointed him.

Nora sat back in her place. He saw Ervin and Giovanni working again as if there was nothing. They both serve their customers with friendly smiles and professional attitudes. They both looked like different people, especially Giovanni.

Now it's Nora's turn to be served by Ervin. He showed me some of the menus available at the cafe. In his hands, he brought a notebook to record customer orders.

Nora pointed at the menu she wanted with a smile back. He noticed Ervin writing his order with a calm face. His handsome face is too bad to be a target bully in school, especially with his brain is genius.

He stared at the road by putting his chin on his palm. The cool atmosphere of the morning makes it able to think more clearly. Especially by looking at the serious face of his underclassman.

Shortly thereafter, his order came and was again presented by Ervin. A Vanilla Latte glass, according to which he ordered. But there's one strange thing. On his desk, there was a piece of chocolate cake that he did not order at all.

“Gue don't order Choco Cake, Vin. Lo mistakenly brought the order,” said Nora while pointing at the chocolate cake.

Ervin shook his head and pushed the cake closer to Nora. He smiled and said, “This is my treat, Brother. This is as a sign of my gratitude because Big Brother helped me a lot lately.”

Nora looked at Ervin in disbelief. He shook his head as a sign of refusal. He took out a piece of blue money and put it in Ervin's uniform pocket.

“Gue doesn't like to be treated, Vin. Take the money or I'm angry with you,” reject Nora firmly.

“Gue also does not want to receive the money, brother. You can pay for the drink at the cashier, but the chocolate cake I already paid first,” Ervin replied with a big smile.

Nora just grunted annoyedly. Finally he received the chocolate cake even though it was a bit forced. He helped Ervin sincerely without expecting anything in return.

“Later you have to accept my treat back, Vin. Continue not to be afraid of the same Giselle talk with others, yes. I am free to be friends with anyone,” chirped Nora while pointing at Ervin's face. But Ervin laughed and nodded.

“Iya, Brother. Anytime, yeah. Enjoy it, Brother. I continued working first,” said to Ervin while waving his hand.

Ervin walked towards the barista workplace. He took a camera and smiled. The camera lens leads to a certain place that can only be seen from the camera screen. It became a habit for him.

The man stared at the camera with a faint smile. The result of a nice looking picture of a beautiful girl who is like the goddess Aphrodite. A collection of pictures he never showed anyone.

“He's beautiful, Vin. Besides, he is also good so many like him. But he only considers the person he helped as a friend. So I suggest you do not be too hopeful let alone you just considered him as a class adek,” said Giovanni who was staring at the figure of a girl near the window.

Ervin stared at Giovanni and nodded. He looked towards Nora who was enjoying her chocolate cake gracefully. She looks like a girl who comes from a good and educated family. A classy girl will definitely get a better partner as well.

At that place, Nora looked at Ervin silently. His sweet smile only appeared when Ervin did not pay attention to it anymore. He wiped his mouth with a tissue.

Nora walks to the cashier to pay for her drink. Then he left the cafe. Before that, he greeted Ervin and Giovanni kindly. The state of the cafe returned to normal after the girl's departure.
