Lies or Honesty?

Nora looked at the classroom window with a blank look. He could not forget Giselle's words that confused him. Does he have to follow his best friend's evil plan to get close to Ervin? Does he have to pretend to hate her in order to get help from his best friend? Nora was uncomfortable with the idea. He doesn't want to lie to himself and to Giselle.

He tried to shift his mind by opening an economics book on his desk. He had learned the material last night, but he wanted to repeat it again. He saw an economics teacher standing in front of the blackboard. He held his hand politely.

"Sir, may I ask you about GDP? I've read the textbook, but I still feel a lack of understanding. Can you please explain it again in a way that's easier to understand?" asked Nora kindly.

"Of course, Nora. I'm glad you're interested in this lesson. GDP stands for Gross Domestic Product. It is a measure of the total value of goods and services produced within a country over a period of time" explained the economics teacher patiently.

"So, that GDP shows how strong a country's economy is? How do I count, sir?" asked Nora again enthusiastically.

"Yes, GDP is one indicator to assess the economic performance of a country. The way to calculate it is to sum all the expenses that occur in the country. The formula is GDP \= C + G + I + (X - M), where C is household consumption, G is government spending, I is investment, X is export, G is, and M is import," replied the economics teacher in detail.

"Oh, I understand now. So, the GDP does not care who has the factor of production in the country? For example, if there are foreign companies operating in Indonesia and producing goods and services here, that is included in the calculation of Indonesia?'s GDP?" asked Nora again curiously.

The economics teacher smiled back and ended his lesson. The other disciples cheered as they could take a short break. The economics teacher left the class happily.

Nora chuckled at the reaction of her friends. He knew they didn't like economics lessons and got tired of listening to his questions. But he doesn't care. He likes to learn new things and challenge himself.

"Ra, let's continue with our plan, yuk? Let's go to the cafeteria now. I have a good idea for Ervin's feed," Giselle invited to Nora's desk.

Yudha who saw them could only sigh in annoyance. He felt neglected by his girlfriend and best friend. He disagrees with their plan to play Ervin.

Nora, Giselle, and Yudha walked to the canteen for lunch. However, at the entrance of the canteen, they saw some people blocking their way. They are students who do not like Ervin, Giovanni, and Joy because they are considered strange and different.

Giselle who saw that instantly smiled cunningly and pushed Nora forward.

"Ra, this is a golden opportunity for you to show your affection to Ervin. Let's break into the canteen and save her from the oppressors" Giselle said, patting Nora on the shoulder.

Nora turned towards Giselle in confusion. He had no idea what Giselle meant by that.

"What do you mean?" asked Nora with a lip gesture.

Nora who heard that immediately shook her head in shock. He didn't want to lie to Ervin like that. He had intended to help the man from the beginning.

"A very good idea, Gis. Just calm from earlier I already want to do it," said Nora with a smile.

"good. Believe me, this is the most powerful way to make him realize that you love him," urged Giselle convincingly.

Nora was still hesitant to follow Giselle's advice. But he saw Ervin being bullied by those people and he felt sorry. He wanted to help Ervin from the unfair treatment.

Nora walked up to the crowd of those people boldly. He clapped his hands hard to get their attention.

"Hey! What are you guys doing here? Why are you bothering me?" nora shouted furiously.

Nora did not answer that question. He immediately pulled Ervin's hand and pulled it forward. He looked at Ervin with concern and concern.

"Ervin, are you all right? It's okay, isn't it?" ask Nora gently.

Ervin who felt Nora's touch was immediately shocked. He looked at Nora in disbelief. He did not understand why Nora suddenly behaved like that.

"Sister, I'm fine. Don't worry," Ervin replied with a faint smile.

Nora who saw Ervin's smile was instantly blown away. He felt his heart flutter. He involuntarily hugged Ervin tightly.

Everyone who saw it was immediately dumbfounded. They didn't expect Nora to hug Ervin like that. Moreover, Ervin who was also surprised by Nora's embrace. He doesn't know how to react.

Nora let go of her embrace after a few seconds. He realized that he had done something terrible. He looked at the people around him timidly.

"You look at these bracelets!" nora said as she lifted Ervin's wrist. There is a bracelet given by Nora to Ervin as a sign of her protection.

"This bracelet is a gift from me to Ervin. That means Ervin is all mine. You have no right to bother him anymore. Understood?" nora said firmly while pointing at the bracelet.

Those who heard Nora's words were silent. They feel scared and guilty. They had no idea that Nora would defend Ervin that way.

"M-sorry, Brother. We won't bother Ervin anymore" said one of them with fear.

"Mending you guys unplug from here right now before I get angry," threatened Nora coldly.

The men immediately dispersed and left the canteen quickly. They don't want to deal anymore with Nora and Ervin.

Nora heaved a sigh of relief after successfully driving away those people. He turned to look at Ervin awkwardly. He did not know what to say after hugging her like that.

"Ervin, I'm sorry I did that. I just want to howl you from the bad guys" Nora said with an awkward laugh.

Ervin who heard Nora's words could only smile sweetly. He felt happy and happy because Nora wanted to defend and embrace him like that.

"It's okay, brother. In fact, I have to thank you for helping me" said Ervin honestly.

Nora was relieved to hear Ervin's reply. He hoped Ervin wouldn't get angry or hate him for the hug.

"But, brother, can I get something?" asked Ervin curiously.

"What?" ask Nora carefully.

"Lo says I belong to you completely. What does that mean?" ervin asked looking at Nora with a curious look. He wanted to know what Nora meant by saying that she was all hers.

Nora was nervous about Ervin's question. He doesn't know what to answer. He could not say that it was just pretending to drive away the people who were bothering him. Nor could he say that it was an expression of his true love.

"Lo didn't answer?" urged Ervin with curiosity.

Nora swallowed with great difficulty. He was trying to find a reasonable reason.

"Kan, we're already half-sister, Ervin. Indirectly, we are family. So, I feel you are mine as your sister," replied Nora by lying.

Ervin heard Nora's reply in disappointment. She hoped Nora would say something more romantic and touch her heart. He felt that Nora only considered him a half-sister, not as a girlfriend.

Nora sensed something was wrong with Ervin's tone of voice. Ervin was not satisfied with the answer.

"Ervin, aren't you mad at me?" asked Nora worriedly.

Nora was relieved to hear Ervin's reply. He thought that Ervin had already accepted his excuses and embrace.

"Thank God, Ervin. Gye is afraid you hate me because I did it earlier," said Nora happily.

"That's it, brother. I'm even glad you want to steal me from the bad guys," said Ervin with fun.

Nora and Ervin smiled at each other and hugged each other again. They feel close and comfortable with each other.

Giselle who saw the scene from a distance immediately cheered inwardly. He felt his plan worked perfectly. He thinks that Ervin has started to fall in love with each other.

"Gue is great! I managed to make Ervin fall in the charm of Nora! I made sure Nora would succeed in her plan!" giselle with pride.

Yudha who saw the scene from a distance immediately shook her head unhappily. He felt his plan had failed completely. He thinks that Ervin is already stuck in the game of Giselle.

"What a stupid guy! I can't help Ra and Ervin be honest! I'm the worst friend in the world!" bawah Yudha regretfully.
