The Unexpected Twist
Two Hearts Wounded

Nora felt a tremor on her shoulders. He turned his head and saw the pale face of Giselle, his best friend since childhood. The girl looked scared and guilty. He regretted having Giselle involved in this matter. He also could not bear to see Ervin, a new child who is often bullied, get inappropriate treatment at school.

Nora and Giselle could only watch the male figure who was driving away the bullies with a loud voice and fierce hand movements. The man is Giovanni, Giselle's older sister who is famous for being the scathing-mouthed guy at school. He seemed to care about Ervin, even taking him to sit at the cafeteria table with him. He gave Ervin a tray of food, as if to replace what he had lost.

Giovanni Sunnie Skyden is the older sister of Giselle, but they have a different physique. Giovanni was an unexpected storm.  His tall and thin body created a long and terrifying shadow. Her long blonde hair tied in ponytails gave off a wild and free impression. His cold blue eyes pierced the soul of the one who saw him.

"Bang ...," bitter Giselle who looked into the man's eyes. His body trembled feeling an aura of fear with what would befall him later.

"Ang? Who are you calling? I mean?" Giovanni looked at his sister cynically. He doesn't like to be called a brother by Giselle, let alone in front of others. He felt it made him look weak and spoiled.

Nora felt this matter could not be allowed to linger. He carried Giselle's body behind his. He knew the girl was holding back her cries and was afraid.

"Lo shouldn't be so into his own adek, brother. Giselle doesn't do anything, anyway. I forced him to sit down with Ervin," Nora rebuked with a huffed sigh. He sometimes felt annoyed with Giovanni, but he could not corner his best friend's brother. Most likely there was a reason for it alone so that it could do something like this.

"Lo think I care about me? He's just a burden to me! He never knew me! He just wants me to be a good boy who dutiful same talk nyokap nyokap!" giovanni snapped with emotion. He did not like to be reprimanded by Nora, especially in front of Ervin.

Ervin lowered his face in shame. He felt guilty for causing trouble between the brothers. He also felt sorry for Giselle who had to bear the hardship with her spicy-mouthed sister.

"Gue ain't papa, Bang. They used to do that. Brother Giselle and Sister Nora are not wrong at all," said Ervin in a soft voice.

Giselle pulled out her face from behind Nora's back. His hands held on to his best friend's shoulders with a funny face in fear. He asked, "Where do you think my name is?"

Ervin was going to answer. However, Giovanni cuts off Ervin's talk. The man put bread in the mouth of his underclassman.

"Next time their opponent, Ervin. Don't be weak, be a guy! Do not kayak a spoiled person and then a little nangis ngadu to a friend or girlfriend," suggested Giovanni by taking crackers in an Ervin tray.

Nora could only stroke his chest. She embraces Giselle trying to calm her best friend so as not to cry. The affair will be complicated if caught by Yudha, Giselle's boyfriend who is also the treasurer of OSIS. Maybe later the atmosphere of the canteen will become gripping.

Nora invited her best friend to sit down. He asked Giovanni for permission to request mineral water, although he did not receive it at first. They sat down with Giselle holding her best friend's hand.

"Darling, this is food for you. Then this is lo, Ra." Yudha handed food to the two girls helped by the canteen's aunt.

"Well, you guys are sitting with him? People kayak he mending do not need to be invited," proposed Yudha staring at the whereabouts of Giovanni.

Giovanni just laughed with a snide look said, "Basic people don't know themselves! Who sat early? Just became a member of OSIS a proud let alone already got my family's property."

Nora could only remain silent as a sane person. He looked towards Ervin who was feeling awkward with them. He pushed Giovanni's body slowly to sit next to the man.

"Udah treated his wound?" Nora stroked Ervin's face by looking at the man's eyes kindly.

"I am the medicine man. Don't expect it to be a guy. He doesn't like repotin people," Giovanni lamented by pushing Ervin's body.

Giselle looked at her brother doubtfully. He sent a message to Nora. He gave Nora a pleading gaze by pointing at her phone as if giving a code.

"Sister Gio I want nanya. Since when have you known Ervin?" ask Nora politely.

Giovanni looked at Nora with his frown sneering, "Kepo lo! It has nothing to do with it."

Nora set her foot on the marble floor of her magnificent home. He felt a deep silence, even though there were many domestic assistants who were busy on the move. He looked to the right and to the left, looking for the figure he missed the most.

“Bi, Mother where ya?” ask her in a soft voice.

“The lady's home from the afternoon, miss. Maybe Madam is resting in room.”

“Oh, so. Thank you, Bi!” nora said with a sweet smile.

He rushed up to the second floor, leaping over the steps cheerfully. He wanted to hug his mother and tell her everything that happened at school today. He looks forward to this moment every day.

However, his steps came to a halt when he reached the door of his mother's room. He heard a slow but heartbreaking sobbing. He peeked through the doorway and saw his mother sitting on the edge of the bed, holding a picture frame with a pushy look.

Nora felt a tightness in her chest. He knew who was in the picture. The man who made his mother suffer and cry every night. A man who never existed for both of them.

Nora retreated slowly and walked towards her room with a broken heart. He did not bother his sad mother. He went into his room and closed the door slowly. He threw his school bag onto the sofa and sat down at the study table.

“Why should this be?” nora muttered in annoyance.

He took out a sky blue notebook from his bag. He opened the last page and began writing with a black pen. His writing was messy and full of scribbles, reflecting the chaos of his heart. He spilled all his feelings in words.

Today I met a strange guy who was always quiet and timid. He looks good, but he's also stupid. He can't protect himself from the bad guys in this world. I'm surprised he could be the same friend of Giovanni, Rina's sister.

Giovanni was the scathing-mouthed upperclassman at my school. He's kind enough to other people if he's in a good mood, but he's always evil to his own superiors. But he loved the strange man more than his own sister. I wonder about their relationship.

I really want to tell you the same story about the strange guy, but I don't want to disturb the mother who is sad again. I love you so much, she's the best person in my life. I really hate the same jerk who makes my parents cry constantly ((

“I hope you are happy,” whispered Nora with tears in your eyes.
