The Unexpected Twist

The Unexpected Twist
Nora, Ervin, and the Fights at the Cafe

Like a typical teenager, Nora sat on a mattress staring at the screen of her phone. He repeatedly deleted also typing with a look of confusion. His eyes were closed thinking of the word he should have sent through the chat.

Nora who got a reply from Ervin was shocked. He smiled broadly thinking what he would reply. He had panicked so open a message from Ervin without replying to the man's chat.

However, a few minutes later Ervin again sent a message. This time Nora no longer returned a message from the man. He also mentioned his name in the message. In a short time Ervin replied to him very quickly which made him hold back a smile.

During that time he also thought of the word to invite Ervin to go to breakfast with him. He will never break a promise with his own words. If he says he wants to go for a deal, it has to happen. But in fact, it's not that easy.

Nora felt a deep disappointment when Ervin refused his invitation to have breakfast together. He can only grunt annoyedly, but he has no right to impose his will on others. He decided to go down to the kitchen wearing a hoodie and loose pants. He hopes to enjoy the morning quietly, even without Ervin.

However, his hopes are dashed once he sees his father, Satria, teasing a young housekeeper who just worked at his house. The woman looked frightened and uncomfortable, but she did not dare to resist or fight her superior. Nora felt disgusted at the behavior of her father who was a jerk.

"Sister! So not Nora? He said he wanted to buy some vegetables" Nora exclaimed, waving her hand.

The housekeeper immediately ran towards him with a pale face. He was grateful that Nora had come to save him from Satria's temptation. But he still felt a lustful look from the man behind him.

“Nora you disturb Dad's pleasures only. If you want to shop for your own vegetables. Girls really can't do kitchen business,” Satria's nagging while approaching her daughter.

Nora is silent, she pulls the hand of her mother's young assistant and takes him out of the house. He does not care about his father's words that are not worthy of being a father.

Nora walks by covering her head with a hoodie hood. He glanced at the young lady who was only seven years different from him. They both said nothing.

"Relse ... Nora can only nganter brother here. Here's the money and then my brother went home to the family. Later Nora will talk to Mommy guaranteed sister will not get angry," said Nora by giving her pocket money.

"Thank you Miss! Miss is so nice that sister doesn't know how to reply."

"No need to reply that important brother is safe," replied Nora with a sweet smile. "Nora go first, yeah. Brother be careful on the street."

Nora ran away from the woman. He wants to exercise to expel negative thoughts and restore his positive aura. He headed for a nearby park filled with a cheerful atmosphere.

Nora looked around at the families that were though simple but happy. He felt happy and envious at once. He tried to calm himself by doing meditation.

“May everyone live happily,” muttered Nora with a faint smile.

...****************...

Nora felt her body and mind light after taking a walk in the beautiful garden. He decided to stop by his favorite cafe for snacks and cold drinks. He chose a seat in the corner near the window, in order to enjoy the view of traffic on the highway. He smiled at the cheerfulness of passers-by, children on bicycles, and the blooming flowers.

Suddenly, he saw two people he knew outside the cafe. One of them was a guy who was talking to a middle-aged woman. He could not hear what they were talking about, but he could see an annoyed expression on the man's face. An expression he rarely saw at school. Today he can see it in person.

The middle-aged woman finally left and left the man alone. However, before he could move on, several men came and blocked his path. They are the jerks who often interfere in school.

“Dog, what do you mean?!” the voice of Giovanni, the brother of his best friend, came from the direction of the cafe. He was wearing a cafe uniform. Nora was astonished, she had never heard Giselle tell her about this.

“Sorry, Brother. My mission is to continue working,” Ervin said calmly as he released the hand of one of the men.

“Wah, have dared to turn out!”

“You messed with us as it turned out.”

Ervin was immediately attacked by some of the men. People inside the cafe were screaming in fear. No one dared to help, just recording the incident with their cell phones. Only Giovanni was trying to help Ervin out of those men's punches.

Giovanni, who is known as a firm and authoritative figure, was unable to fight them. He was pushed back because they were playing. Nora just watched from the window while getting ready to interfere if the situation got worse.

"Stop not lo on!" giovanni yelled, pulling one of the men and then hitting the perpetrator in the face.

"****! Dare to be like me! Want me to report to your boss on, huh?!"

Giovanni suddenly fell silent and could do nothing more. Finally he could only apologize to Ervin. He can't do anything anymore, because if he doesn't, he could lose his job.

“Child ***** in the end emang cake ******!”

Ervin raised his head angrily and said, “What do you mean?”

“Wah, means he's looking at it! Hahahaha.”

That sentence made Ervin ignited his emotions. He rose up in anger and fought them fiercely. It was not like Ervin who was usually timid and weak. There was something in his past that made him sensitive to those words.

Nora walked out despite initially being prevented from going out because there was a fight. However, he still came out by explaining that the two people were his acquaintances. As he opened the door of the cafe, the people involved in the fight instantly stared at him.

“Hey, you! Can I join you? Coincidentally I bring this,” exclaimed Nora while taking out the iron rod with a sweet smile. The wand was his mainstay protector when walking alone.

“Loh, don't join Neng Nora. It's the business of the boys.”

“Iyasih, but according to Article 351 of the Criminal Code, if the perpetration of persecution can be threatened by criminal law. It all goes into that, doesn't it? Or I ask the mainstay lawyer of my family,” reply Nora while removing her phone. He pretended to call his family's lawyer who wasn't there. Hearing that, the men were frightened and immediately left. They don't want to deal with the law.

Nora smiled looking at Ervin. His hand stroked the face of the man who looked injured. He looked at Giovanni who was going to help Ervin get inside.

“Gue needs to talk to you guys out of this,” said Nora seriously.
