Nora and her mother disappeared without a trace after the horrific incident. Only Ervin knew where they were going, but he insisted on keeping it a secret. He did not care about the two people who kept urging him to divulge the address of Nora's destination.
"Sister, I can't tell you. This is a request from my brother's friend. If Brother Giselle and Sister Yudha want to know, find out for yourself. I can't tell you, sorry." Ervin refused firmly while staring coldly at the two teenagers.
"Thank you! I'm worried about Nora! You should have brought him to his destination! Why did you let him take an online taxi?! Don't you think it's a trap from that jerk?!" Yudha shouted while pushing Ervin violently.
Giovanni who saw it immediately pulled Yudha's hand and pushed her against the wall. He gripped Yudha's neck firmly while bringing her face closer.
"Lo says mulu kayak chick. Look at your girlfriend, no fuss like you," Giovanni quipped as he pointed at the crying Giselle in the corner of the room.
Yudha thrashed to escape from Giovanni's clutches. He felt pain in his neck and hands. He could only vent his anger by speaking harshly.
"Dog, you can't!" Yudha shouted while kicking Giovanni's leg.
Giselle who saw her brother being attacked immediately ran towards them. He tried to break up their quarrels while crying.
"Udah, stop, stop! What are you two doing?! We have to go after Nora, not even a storm!" Giselle screamed while pulling Giovanni and Yudha's hands.
Ervin who witnessed all this could only shake his head. He was amazed by the behavior of his three friends. They are 17 years old, but still like to fight because of trivial things. He decided to leave them and go home.
Ervin walked towards a bus stop not far from his school. He was waiting for the bus to take him home. I can't wait to get home and rest. He was tired of all the trouble he had today.
The bus finally came and Ervin immediately boarded it. He looked for an empty seat and sat there. He closed his eyes and tried to forget everything.
After some time, the bus arrived at the last stop which was the village where Ervin lived. Ervin got off the bus and walked towards his house which was about 500 meters from the stop. He hoped that nothing would bother him on the road.
However, his hopes were dashed when he heard whispers from neighbors who saw him passing by. They sneered and insulted Ervin with hurtful words.
"Tuh, son******* that! His mother likes to seduce rich men! I'll be kicked out with his old wife!"
Ervin frowned when he heard those words. He just realized that his mother might have gotten a new target from a rich man. He did not know who the man was, but he was sure that he must have been married.
Ervin ran quickly to his house. He wanted to make sure that his mother was still at home and not going with the man. He did not want to lose his mother as happened to Nora.
The man who helped his mother was the same man he had seen two days ago. The man who hurt his wife and son. A man who has just married another woman.
Ervin did not believe what he saw before his eyes. The man who was helping his mother put things in a luxury car was the same man he saw hurting his own wife and son two days ago. A man who has just married another woman. The man who turns out to be the father of Nora, his best friend who always helps him and cares for him.
Ervin felt like he was struck by lightning. He did not think that his mother would do something like this. He did not know how to behave to Nora, the girl who was always by his side. He doesn't know how to explain to Nora that her mother was the woman who ruined her parents' household.
"You? Aren't you a friend of my daughter who came to pick up Rayna two days ago?" The man asked in surprise while frowning.
Ervin could only smile bitterly. He wanted to escape from there, but his mother held his hand. His mother is Gendis Ayu Cemara, a 31-year-old woman who has a slim and tall body. She always paid attention to her appearance and wore clothes that accentuated beauty and luxury. He has long hair dyed blonde, brown eyes, a sharp nose, and red lips. She likes to wear expensive and flashy jewelry and accessories. Women who are considered cheap women by villagers.
"Stop, Mom! Ervin doesn't want any more mama! If you want a good life don't believe it, Ma! Mama kayak gini makes Ervin shy just as bad as Sister Nora! He's the one who always helps Mama's son during school but .. mama ruined her trust with Ervin!" Ervin shouted furiously while shedding tears.
The villagers who heard that immediately gossiped. They stared at Gendis cynically and disgustedly. They are fed up with the work of Gendis who always makes trouble in their village. They could not bear to see the thick face of Gendis who had no shame.
The man immediately pulled Gendis beside him and said, "Ervin, you can't be like that to your Mama."
"Oh, so? Then Om same Mama as an adult can hurt us who are innocent children? Om seems to have gone crazy because he wanted to leave Mother of Kak Nora who is the Director of an architectural company for the sake of my mother who does not have any work just knows to spend money. Om's brain is insane for hurting two women who love Om!" Ervin blurted out spicy words while pointing at the man's face.
Ervin wanted to say more, but he fell silent when he saw two teenagers coming out of his house with bewildered faces. They are Rama Sunnie Shawn and Juliana Daisy Rayne, Ervin's twin sister whom he cares most about. They are still in 7th grade Junior High School. They have different natures.
Rama is a bad boy and likes to make trouble. He is similar to his mother in terms of liking money and luxury. He doesn't care about other people's feelings.
"Let's go, anyway, Bang. Most of the time we get more pocket money," Rama commented nonchalantly.
Daisy is a kind and polite child. She is similar to her sister in her intolerance for her mother's actions. He always tried to keep his family's good name.
"Don't do it, Bang Rama! Mama's wrongdoing is still supported," Daisy protested in annoyance.
Ervin felt helpless. He can't do anything. He could only give up and hope that Nora did not hate him.
"Sorry, Nora," Ervin whispered as he stared at the clear sky.
