The Unexpected Twist
The Nightmare of Three Friends

Yudha felt a strong pull on her arm. He turned his head and saw the hateful look from his papa. A look that was always directed at him whenever he made a mistake. His papa's corporate birthday party today had to be disbanded just like that because of his reckless actions.

Her father dragged her to a hotel room originally rented to guests. However, because of the incident, all the money issued by his father became in vain. He did not care about Yudha's protests and cries of pain.

"It hurts, Pa. Please don't torture Yudha again!" pinta Yudha on her knees also rubbed her palms together. Her tears began to fall from fear.

Yudha shook her head weakly while looking down. Tears had washed his pale cheeks. He was afraid to see his blazing eyes. Especially when he saw the black whip hidden behind his papa suit.

Yudha could only bite her lower lip. Soon he was back in pain. He had to endure the yelling as well while counting, otherwise he would have been tortured again from the beginning.

In the room, her father closed the door and pointed to Yudha's face with his index finger. The look on his face showed unbearable anger. "You know what your mistake was?" ask her with a loud voice.

Yudha shook her head. His face was lowered so as not to be caught crying again. He was afraid that his father would get even more angry because he saw him crying and was scared.

His face crouched with the aim of looking at him. The hand of the papa gripped hard at his nape then directed at him so that he could look into his eyes. The middle-aged man screeched by patting Yudha on the cheek using his whip.

"Your mistake for not playing music well, even losing to girls!" he said, patting Yudha on the cheek with his whip.

Yudha felt a pain in her cheek that felt hot. "That's .... Papa also knows that Nora has played music from Kindergarten. His own father taught him" replied Yudha with a trembling body. He was so afraid that his answer would bring disaster upon himself.

The answer was instantly getting a whip reply on his back. Yudha grimaced and held back the screams. He was used to this torture. But that doesn't make him immune. Every time the whip touched his skin, he felt a new wound in his heart.

"It's your fault for not being able to defeat him! You also made me spend a lot of money on music lessons, but you still can't!" he snapped his papa mercilessly.

Yudha was silent with teary eyes. He endured the pain alone. Now no one can help him because this hotel has been deserted since the incident. Tonight it is his fate to be tormented.

"Ssshh .. pain, Pa." Yudha pleaded with a soft voice.

His father ignored his request. He even added to the hard lash. "You also pissed me off. Can't you make Lady Rayna's husband leave by using her daughter? His arrival made me a huge loss! What's the fate of my company, huh?!"

Yudha just kept quiet by shaking her head. He can't do that at all. All of this is not in power. He didn't even know that Nora's father could act like that to his own family. At first he and Giselle were jealous of Nora because they knew Nora had a harmonious family. In reality Nora kept all the trouble alone. That girl is really very strong.

"Can't answer! Well, then count from one lest anyone forget! If not, repeat from the beginning!"

Yudha started counting with running sweat water. The sweat was mixed with her tears.

"You like to make me angry!Why can't you be like Giovanni and Nora who always bring achievements to school?! You also can't be like that big brother of yours who always makes me proud, huh?! Besides, a burden to me what can you do?!"

Yudha laughed in her heart. He is tired of being compared to others. She missed her brother who had long since left this house. He wanted to go with her and leave this cruel papa. It felt like he wanted to give up and catch up with his mother who had left him for the creator. Why is God so evil to him and his friends? What is their fault for suffering like this?

Nora looked coldly at her father who offered her a wedding invitation. He did not believe what he saw. He hit the dining table hard and made a sound. The next morning was bad. He no longer wants to eat.

"Mother, Nora say goodbye first!" pamphit Nora by kissing her round cheek. He hurried away regardless of his father trying to call him.

"Be careful on the road! Ask Mamang not to bring it quickly!" rayna shouted with a wave of her hand.

Nora walked towards the garage. He took a red car. He just wanted to be alone on his way to school even though his mother didn't seem to know this.

While on the road, he could not enjoy the surrounding scenery. His mind was still in the shadow of last night's events. He almost hit the bike in front of him out of his guard.

When he got to school, he parked his car. He saw a lot of people talking about his family cynically. But he doesn't care about them. He was used to hearing those rumors.

"Gue was not expecting. Nora's really good girl, she's not a rich family anymore, Haha."

"Lo was wrong! He is a parasite in the family. This news was just discovered that Nora's bokap is unemployed as a striped man!"

"Yes, I was horrified. The rich man is with his family! Let him be a burden."

Nora didn't care much about this at all. It is true that the man is a parasite in his family. If it wasn't for the mother who always kept her father. He will make sure the man will not be able to survive in this city.

Nora who was tired of hearing gossip. He chose to get out of the car. The people who saw him get out of the car were immediately shocked. They may never think they will drive a car alone because they often use a driver. However, they may be more surprised for fear of the conversation reaching his ears.

As he walked people just stared at him. No one dared to talk about him. He can walk casually to his class without being distracted by gossip.

Arriving inside the classroom, he had been greeted by Giselle who was staring at him wryly. The girl carried herself into his arms. The girl suddenly cried which made her smile just like that.

However, to his surprise Yudha with a pale face wept in front of him. The man was crying too. A cry that was never shown to Nora and her classmates, except for Giselle and her papa. The three friends continued to embrace by crying together, except for Nora who only smiled by stroking the backs of her two best friends. He knew it was very hard for them.

The girl looked at him with teary eyes and then cried bitterly. "Nora if you have a problem don't believe me! You can just talk to me! You've been thinking what am I?!" he said with a angry and sad tone.

Nora smiled gently as she returned Giselle's embrace. He was lucky to have a friend like him. But he was surprised when Yudha also hugged him from behind. The man was crying with sobs. His face and nose were red from the pain. "Nora ... sorry I can't protect you as your only girl friend" he whispered in a soft voice.

Nora felt a tightness in her chest. He knew how hard it was for Yudha to be tormented by her father. She also knows how fragile Giselle's heart is that her brother has always ignored her. The three of them were both suffering, but they always supported each other.

Nora laughed and said, "No papa, I have you guys who are grateful. Next time I'll be more open with you guys."

The three of them smiled while still hugging. The occupants of the class could only remain silent while holding back the cries. They were sorry for the fate of the three friends. They had no idea what it was like to live with such suffering. It feels pretty heartwarming today as well as sad. Very hard times they often experience, but can not tell anyone because of fear that is a teenager.
