"You've come home to Charlotte." That's Mr. Romanov's voice.
As soon as he heard the voice of the grandfather, the attention of the two young people was immediately diverted.
Charlotte immediately rolled her eyeballs. Geez, his dealings with just one person are barely done. Why 'monsters' should come out now.
"You guys"
"Then I go first." Charlotte unceremoniously stepped back her legs in a hasty motion, about to head towards the stairs.
He chose to avoid arguing anything with his grandfather. Sadly, his grandfather was very old. His grandfather's age was also soon. And Charlotte didn't want to make her grandfather hang or have high blood pressure because she had to argue with him.
"Wait a minute." hold Mr. Romanov.
Charlotte again flicked her steps.
He grumbled in his heart. His grandfather should be grateful that Charlotte was planning to avoid a debate. But why hold himself back.
"Charlotte! Grandpa is talking to you." said Mr. Romanov again.
Charlotte then turned around, looking at her grandfather with a frustrated look.
"What?"
"Where are you going?"
For a moment Charlotte frowned.
"Room."
"Have you eaten?"
"It."
"But grandpa hasn't."
"Then?"
"Let's eat together."
Charlotte sighed lazily.
"I'm still full." replied Charlotte briefly.
Come on, why doesn't his grandfather want to understand. Forget about eating together and let yourself go to the room to rest. Right now Charlotte is helping him away from the high blood attack, why he does not understand either.
"You don't want to talk to Grandpa, Lottie?" mr. Romanov asked frankly. "Grandpa, we haven't talked at the dinner table for a long time."
Charlotte took a deep breath before then turning her gaze in another direction. Trying to avoid Grandpa's sight.
"Talk about what? Office work? Ck, grandpa can talk about that with the granddaughter of the other grandfather." Charlotte pointed at Xander with her chin.
Mr. Romanov frowned.
"What's? Why look at me like that?" ask Charlotte for wonder.
"Isn't that so. You'll usually go both ways. Talk about boring work until you forget about time. Right, sis?" charlotte continued to relax while looking at Xander.
Xander threw away his face because he felt cornered.
Everyone knows clearly that sentence is a form of satire on the grandfather. Mr. Romanov always went alone with Xander and left Charlotte alone.
"Can't you take the time to just eat together?" mr. Romanov switched the subject.
Charlotte had no intention of responding. He looked back rolling his eyes lazily aware of the grandfather who changed the subject. He tried to refrain from getting upset.
"I'm busy." Charlotte told Mr. Romanov.
"You're always busy. Even more than grandfather. Try to manage your time to get together." Mr. Romanov tried to give advice. "You always go to work. Home night. Even home in the morning. And you-"
"Geez, this conversation is giving me more headaches" Charlotte said lazily. He looked at his grandfather with annoyance.
"Grandfather shouldn't worry. I'm a model, okay? Model number one. Many brands have signed me. So I have a lot of shooting schedules. And that's my job now. I'm trying to make a lot of money for myself. I'm rich even without grandfather's money and can live independently. So understand!"
Charlotte immediately shuddered with her own words. Hey, why did he say that long fucking sentence. Whatever he is currently still, his grandfather's monthly money is also quite valuable for him.
You're so stupid Charlotte.
'Looks like I should get the hell out of here before I talk more and more.' Charlotte's inner voice.
Charlotte who was about to step her foot, before then the grandfather continued his sentence, making his step back to a standstill.
Charlotte takes a quick glance at Xander before looking back at her grandfather.
"Now also still upset." murmured softly.
"Xander also told me why you were mad at him."
"Wow, really? It's good that he tells grandfather, count to let grandfather know that what grandfather did was a consequence for others and did not do too much anymore." said Charlotte again.
Mr. Romanov frowned then sighed tiredly.
"Can you be more mature, Charlotte?"
Both of Charlotte's eyes immediately widened to hear the grandfather's words.
"What?" Charlotte looked at the grandfather with a look of disbelief.
"Your attitude is very childish at the moment" explained Mr. Romanov. "Be an adult. Self-sufficient. Don't be so dependent on your brother. He also has his own business. His life isn't just about you."
Xander could feel a black aura emerging from Charlotte's back as soon as those words came out of Mr. Romanov's mouth.
Charlotte must be furious at hearing that line.
"Grandfather, I guess-"
Xander was about to mediate the debate but his speech stopped when he saw his grandfather raise his hand to stop him from speaking.
"Don't defend your little brother, Xander" said the grandfather firmly.
Xander now scratched his head in frustration. He did not expect that such a debate would happen again. And can he say that the cause of all this is because of him.
Charlotte folded her hands together in the chest.
"I? Grandpa asked me to act more mature?" Charlotte then grieves. "So Grandpa said that everything that happened was because I wasn't acting like an adult. So it's my fault, is it?"
"Grandfather just doesn't want you to be spoiled for your sister like this, Lottie. You're upset just because you guys didn't go together!"
"What?"
"You can't always be with your brother. Xander, one day he's gonna get married and have kids. He has to work. He will also be the leader."
"I know! We've talked about this before. But the problem here is... Xander promised me that night. And he reneged on his promise because of grandpa."
Charlotte emphasized every sentence that came out of her mouth. He felt careless. Especially at this time the grandfather blatantly blamed himself.
"And so, we have an agreement. Xander will start taking care of the company when it reaches a certain age. But grandfather even broke our agreement. So who's being childish?" connect Charlotte.
"Yes, but Xander also needs to learn. While you're taking her to party. Had fun. It's not important for his future, Charlotte. Isn't going with grandpa obviously much more important than your business? So, come on Charlotte, don't be selfish." Mr. Romanov tried to advise.
"Wow, what is this?" Charlotte shook her head in disbelief. "Aren't I the one who's been harmed here?"
"Charlotte-"
"Wasn't Grandpa a businessman? Shouldn't grandfather understand the meaning of a covenant? Whatever the reason, the agreement is still a deal. And I think grandfather also understood the consequences of the breach of the covenant?"
Mr. Romanov fell silent.
Charlotte's sentence was indeed correct and it cornered her a little.
"The two of you are the same." Charlotte sibir glanced at Xander then stepped up the stairs leading to her room.
But just a few steps, Charlotte remembered something. He stopped his steps and turned back to look at the grandfather.
"I met Justin at the cafe where I bought the coffee. He works there."
Mr. Romanov's eyebrows shriveled but he did not answer.
"I don't know what the story is and why he quit the grandpa's cafe. But now he's not working in Grandpa's cafe anymore."
"He quit?" ask Mr. Romanov confused.
"This is not the case even grandfather knows?" Charlotte, who heard Grandpa's reply, could hardly believe his ears. He looked at the grandfather with a sneering look.
"Didn't grandpa yesterday become so obsessed with him. Grandpa couldn't be far from him. But why now Grandpa doesn't seem to know anything about him. Grandpa let him go like this."
"Yes, I don't really care, but Grandpa didn't say that you wanted to take care of him. But grandfather couldn't even prove grandpa's own words. Embarrassment."
After saying that in a sharp tone, Charlotte rushed away leaving the Romanov and Xander masters who were now staring at each other.
