Trapped in Love Miss Arogan

Coming home from the nightclub. Charlotte has arrived at her home. He called the mansion so that a driver picked him up because he felt unable to bring his own car.

He did not intend to call his brother because he was upset with him. Charlotte felt so lied to by the young man.

Just imagine, during the day after eating at the restaurant, Xander kept telling him that he was coming. The young man even told Charlotte to wait for him until he came.

But what happened was that the young man did not appear at all. As soon as Charlotte tried to call, Xander didn't pick up the phone. As a result, Xander made him have to wait at the nightclub for hours.

It's two o'clock in the night and Charlotte just got home. If Grandpa finds out Charlotte's gonna be out.

Charlotte was now stepping footily into the mansion. Look at! He could barely even stand up properly now.

"Charlotte!" call Xander as soon as Charlotte enters the living room.

Hearing that call Charlotte who was heading to the stairs suddenly stopped her steps. He turned to look at the older brother who was currently sitting on the sofa.

"You just got home?"

"Hm.."

Xander stared at the clock on the wall.

"It's two o'clock."

"Then?"

"Why did you just come home?" ask Xander. "I've been waiting for you since."

"I didn't ask." replied Charlotte cuek, a little bit sniffy.

"I'm just telling you."

"Yes, okay." Charlotte rolled her eyes lazily. "Now I know. And after that what?"

The arrogant attitude that Charlotte showed at this moment made Xander a little upset.

"Charlotte, at least appreciate me waiting for you."

"I didn't even ask you."

"But I'm worried because you haven't come home yet. That's why I'm waiting for you."

"I don't need to worry about it."

"Charlotte-"

"Ah, but if you really need a thank you from me, I'd be happy to thank you. Should I say it?"

Xander turned his face away, holding back his emotions that began to appear because of his sister's indifferent attitude.

Looking at Xander who was just silent, Charlotte chose to continue her footsteps with a step that looked a little staggering

"Where are you going?" Xander.

"Room!"

"But we're not done talking."

"Done or not it's none of my business. No need to continue either. This conversation isn't that important."

"Charlotte!" xander's voice began to rise. "Are you fishing for my emotions?"

Charlotte again stopped her steps then turned around and looked at her brother cynically.

"Otherwise?"

"Grandfather only limits you to twelve o'clock at night. If it's grandpa-"

"I don't need your advice."

"Yes, you don't need. But me? I am the one whom my grandfather sent to take care of you. It means I take full responsibility for whatever you do."

Charlotte grieves.

"Come on Xander, don't brag."

"Look! You're talking like you're trying to fulfill your duty."

"I'm doing my duty!"

"Oh, wow. Really? Really so? Should I believe it?" charlotte said, relax.

The attitude of the girl was so contrary to Xander who was currently looking at her with a sharp gaze.

The young man let out a long breath, he seemed to be regulating his anger.

Charlotte then continued her sentence.

"Come Xander. You think you've done your duty as a sister? A good brother. The brother in charge. Don't they? Everyone always thinks of you like that. In reality, it is not at all "

Xander looked at Charlotte in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"Listen this!" Charlotte pointed at her own ears while looking at Xander sharply. "If you really feel responsible for me, then why did you even go with grandfather for so long?"

Xander jerks.

"It's not what you think it is, Charlotte. I went with Grandpa not to mess around."

"That has nothing to do with me. What I'm talking about here is why didn't you tell me anything about cancelling your attendance to go to the nightclub?"

"Don't you tell me you're coming?" connect Charlotte.

Xander pursed his lips tightly. It was like being hit by a stomach.

"That problem..."

Charlotte exhaled violently and spoke again.

"I know you won't catch up with me. I said it in the restaurant, didn't I. But don't you remember? When we get home from the restaurant. On the way, you kept convincing me that you were coming."

"You asked me to wait for you, Xander. Butwhat? You didn't come." Charlotte then continued. "And the biggest problem here is. You didn't even tell me that you didn't come!"

Xander was silent for a moment. Yesterday after lunch, he told Charlotte several times that he would follow them to the nightclub. He even asked Charlotte to wait for him until he came. This is the real source of the problem.

And Xander forgot his own promise. He admitted it was wrong. But he had a reason. Because, let alone following the girl to the nightclub, Xander couldn't even hold her phone at all.

Just imagine, everyone who was in front of him at that time were investors in their companies.

And those people are focused on talking about work. Xander just felt bad if he was playing on his cell phone or leaving the meeting room, back then.

So serious Xander at that time, he forgot to have an appointment with his own sister. He didn't even remember to tell the girl. How wrong he is here.

"Charlotte-"

"Have you ever thought that I would wait too long for you there?"

"And when I got home, you were as angry with me as you are today" Charlotte said.

"You give me a chance to defend myself, Lottie," Xander's voice slid in Charlotte's ear.

"Wrong is wrong, Xander. And I don't want to hear any explanation let alone any self-defense from you. Besides, I know that this isn't the end of our problems, it's the beginning. I'm sure you'll be doing this more and more. You're gonna let me down, more than this."

Xander could not say anything in response. The young man sighed while twitching the base of his nose, feeling frustrated himself.

Charlotte's words kept ringing in her mind. Suddenly a question appeared in his own head. As a brother, has he done his duty?

"If you want to be a man. At least keep the promise you made yourself." Charlotte said calmly, but so stabbing to Xander.

"I'm going to the room now" Charlotte said again in a flat tone.

After that, Charlotte immediately passed leaving Xander just like that in that place.

"Charlotte, listen to me first!" exclaimed Xander but just ignored by the girl.

Xander let out a long sigh as he rubbed his face rough. He scratched his head with two hands, completely feeling frustrated.
