To be honest, Charlotte had still harbored such a great resentment towards Brandon since their last meeting. And it was definitely not an effective meeting for her.
Brandon, his ex-girlfriend is someone so stubborn. Although jikz is compared to Charlotte he is still nothing. But still, it was very annoying for Charlotte.
Charlotte did not want to see the young man again. But unfortunately fate did not side with Charlotte because it turned out that the young man was instead seen in the same club as himself.
And the appearance of that young man in the nightclub is definitely not uncommon for Charlotte. That was what was troubling her heart and the only reason Charlotte decided to come to the young man. He wanted to meet her to ask her directly about Brandon's purpose in coming here.
In between her steps Charlotte could see that Brandon was staring at her. The young man seemed to grin when he found out that Charlotte was currently coming to him.
"Brandon's."
Charlotte spoke with a cold tone and a sharp eye gaze as soon as she arrived before Brandon.
Brandon looked at Charlotte with a happy smile.
"Ah, Charlotte Clinton... What a coincidence that we can meet here?"
Charlotte snorts cynically. What did this stupid young man just say? What coincidence?
"What are you doing here, Brandon?" charlotte asked still in her cold tone. He doesn't want to talk stale anymore.
"Me?" Brandon raised the glass in his hand, showing it to Charlotte. "I was drinking. You can see for yourself."
Charlotte rolled her eyes lazily. Come on, he wasn't blind and could see clearly that the young man was drinking.
But that's not what's upsetting Charlotte right now. One fact, this nightclub belongs to Laurent Doshe. A club that has been Charlotte's regular base for years. And as far as Charlotte knows, Brandon never even came to this club. One time.
Let's just say that Charlotte was overconfident thinking Brandon had come here to see her. But it seems his guess is right.
Charlotte sighed, trying to regulate her emotions as she began to get caught off guard by this very boring chat.
"Just say it! Keep blatant. Why did you follow me to this place!"
"I'm not following you. I just happened to be passing by and decided to stop by because I saw the club was quite crowded."
"Attracted?" Charlotte scolds cynically. "Oh Brandon, you're not good at lying at all."
"I'm not lying, Lottie..."
"Currently, I know that your purpose in coming here is to see me, right? How do you know I'm here? Are you following me? Tell me, why are you looking for me?"
"I'm not looking for you. I just want to take a look at the beautiful women here."
"Is that really so?" Charlotte raised her eyebrows. He seemed to be inexhaustible as to why this young man could make such absurd excuses.
"really so. Of course." Brandon nodded steadily. "Can't it?"
Charlotte squinted both her eyes. He grieves annoyed. Geez, why didn't this young man just speak honestly anyway? Just wasting his time.
The next second, Charlotte sighed.
"Yes, you're right. It seems like I've completely wasted my time doing this ridiculous thing. Then goodbye." said Charlotte, who chose to leave.
Seeing Charlotte who passed away, Brandon hurriedly held Charlotte's arm straight away. That of course instantly made the girl's move come to a halt.
"Wait a minute!" exciting Brandon.
Charlotte indifferent. He continued walking until Brandon ran forward, blocking his steps.
"Charlotte, wait!"
"What are you doing? Move over!"
Brandon's body was a little shrewd as Charlotte pushed him tightly for the young man to step out of his way.
"Hey, wait a minute!" Brandon held back Charlotte's arm, making the girl immediately throw her hand firmly.
"Si@l!" Charlotte swears. "Don't you dare touch me."
"alright. But listen first!" hold Brandon again.
"Moreover now?"
"Where are you going?"
Charlotte grieves. "Why did I answer that? Why do I have to say something that's not even your business?"
"Oh Charlotte, don't be so angry. Just now I was just kidding." Brandon said with an awkward smile.
"And it's not funny at all."
"Yes, that's not funny. I'm sorry, okay. Calm down a little." Brandon said in a pleading tone to make Charlotte roll her eyeballs lazy.
"Now you better answer my question honestly" Charlotte said.
Charlotte moved her legs closer to Brandon. He brought his face closer to the young man's face while crossing his hands in front of his chest.
"You followed me here, didn't you?"
Charlotte's question made Brandon sigh. He nodded slowly. He was planning to meet Charlotte anyway. That's why he came here willingly.
"alright. Alright. Yeah, I admit. I did come here to follow you." Brandon said honestly.
"I guessed it." Charlotte snorted cynically while stepping back.
"Yes, but-"
"Then why did you follow me all the way here, hm?" cut Charlotte off as if not allowing the young man to explain anything.
"To meet you."
"Meet me?"
Brandon nodded. "Yes, right."
"Meet for what else? Don't you remember what happened at our last meeting?"
"Of course I remember. Well, actually it's something I can't forget." said Brandon.
"Then why did you appear again in front of me? You want me to do the same to you?"
"I'm..."
Brandon swallowed his saliva while thinking what kind of sentence he was going to say to Charlotte.
As he remembered, Charlotte was a very irritable girl. He did not want his words later to ruin this girl's mood. He might be humiliated a second time by this girl.
"Reply answer!" Charlotte's twist made Brandon squeak in shock.
"Y-yeah, actually. I'm just missing you."
"Missed myself?" Charlotte's almost laughing now.
"Yes." Yeah."
"You miss me?"
Brandon nodded. "true."
"You're only here because of that?"
Brandon nodded steadily. "I miss you. That's why I'm willing to come here to see you."
Charlotte shook her head while smiling dismissively. Sillier. Such a ridiculous reason for Charlotte.
This left Charlotte in no way to think about it. What the hell do you want this guy for? They broke up a while ago. Why would he still chase after her even have to follow her up like this.
"You obviously missed the wrong guy."
"Wrongly? How can I be wrong if my only purpose is to see you because I miss you."
Charlotte raised her hand so Brandon would stop talking.
"Brandon, listen! We have separated. Just by meeting me, it's clear that you're wrong."
Brandon nodded. "You're right, but I'm just-"
"Look, you even justified my words right? Then why do you still ask?"
"Charlotte, can't we still have a good relationship?" brandon.
"Of course not. I don't want to be in touch with someone from my past. And also, haven't I warned you to stay away from me?"
Brandon grimaced disappointed. His only goal is to meet Charlotte because this is Charlotte's favorite club. And this is not what he wants. Brandon just wants his feelings to get reciprocated.
"I'm just trying to get your heart back."
"Stop bragging Brandon."
"I'm not bragging, Charlotte. I really want us to start all over again."
"None of us is going to start Brandon."
"Give me one chance." Brandon grabbed Charlotte's hand, clasped it tightly.
"There won't be a chance, Brandon!" upset Charlotte.
Charlotte doesn't know what's in Brandon's head so she can see him again. Why is this young man so insistent?
Brandon even brought her back together like before. Somehow Charlotte really regretted her decision by coming to Brandon earlier. He should have just ignored it and left it.
"You're crazy" said Charlotte, pulling her hand from Brandon's. "That's it. I better just go. I'd go crazy if I stayed around you any longer."
Charlotte then turned around, choosing to put an end to all this nonsense and just leave. He decided to go back to the table where he had been drinking with Laurent. He even ignored Brandon's call to her. There, he could see Laurent sitting relaxed, waiting for him while enjoying the skin nuts in his hands.
"You okay?" laurent asked puzzledly as he saw the tangled look on Charlotte's face.
"I am okay," replied Charlotte briefly.
"You sure?"
"Hm."
Charlotte then reached into her bag that was on the table. He takes a credit card from his wallet and gives it to Laurent, making Laurent frown.
"Take this!"
"What is this for?"
"Pay my bills tonight, of course."
"You're paying him now?"
"Yes?"
"Are you going home?" laurent asked while staring at the credit card.
Charlotte looked at the young man a glance then scolded cynically.
"Of course not" replied Charlotte.
"Where are you going?"
Laurent kept staring at Charlotte who was packing her personal belongings and putting them in her bag.
"I need your VIP room and order the usual drinks for me. Looks like I'm gonna get drunk tonight." Charlotte draped her bag over her shoulder and walked past Laurent to the first floor of the club.
"Wow, are you serious?" xander asked, but there was no answer because Charlotte was already seen climbing the stairs.
