*Justin's House
That morning, the ringing alarm seemed to disturb Justin who was sleeping soundly on his bed. He wriggled slowly and spread out his hands, trying to stretch the muscles of his body that felt stiff.
The young man opened his eyes slowly then blinked a few times, trying to adapt to the light that entered through the gap of his bedroom window.
He rubbed his eyes that still felt a little sleepy and began to sit on the edge of his bed. Justin then grabbed his phone on a bedside nightstand, checking the clock on the square object in his hand.
"It's eight in the morning. It seems like I only slept for an hour." he chuckled softly and then put his phone back on the nightstand next to his bed.
He yawned widely because he felt a little sleepy and needed extra time to sleep.
Justin had to stay up last night. He could not sleep faster because he had to work late at night. After that there was no time to sleep for him because he had to continue working on some of his college assignments.
And after that he also had to deliver some newspaper subscriptions as an additional side job that he had recently been on, only able to sleep at five this morning.
"I'm still sleepy" he murmured softly while rubbing his face.
Justin then got out of bed with his hair still in disarray. He picked up a towel and walked slowly to the bathroom while occasionally yawning.
A few minutes passed until Justin finished his bath. He got out of the bathroom and immediately got ready to go to campus.
After enjoying his breakfast consisting of fried rice that he cooked by himself, Justin immediately rushed out of his house.
He tied up his shoelaces, then walked to his house to pick up his bicycle. After that, he hurried to ride his bike to the campus.
Arriving at the campus.
Justin parked his bike in the campus parking lot. He then walked quickly to the campus administration room to complete some payment matters that he had not yet completed.
A few minutes passed, Justin was seen walking out of the administration room after he finished paying the rest of the bills from the campus dues that he had arrears a few days since he entered this campus. He then closed the door of the administration room and walked slowly down the corridor leading to his lecture room.
While continuing to step Justin smiled wryly staring at the receipt paper sheet in his hand.
"It is very expensive to study at this campus." Justin murmured to himself. "Luckily this campus is my dream campus since I was in High School" he continued.
He then folded the receipt paper into a small fold and put it in his backpack.
Justin grabbed the wallet from the bag of his jeans then opened and stared at the contents of the wallet which currently only leaves a few pieces of money.
"My money is completely exhausted now," he murmured softly as he stared at his wallet.
Of course the money runs out, because Justin just spent all the last salary he had to pay the rest of his college tuition.
Justin breathed slowly. "It looks like I need extra work" he murmured.
Justin was silent in his position.
Suddenly he remembered that a few days ago Harry, one of the seniors on his campus who also had the status of the person who was the closest friends to him on campus besides Charlie, had offered him a job.
And at that time, actually Justin himself has not responded to the job offer. He has not accepted or rejected it.
"Do I have to accept the part-time job that Harry offered me?" Justin asked himself.
Justin sighed again and put his wallet back in his backpack.
Justin has a few side jobs. Starting from fast food couriers, shop minimarkets on weekends where one of his friends and other side jobs. Recently Justin even became a newspaper presenter.
Justin never thought that all the work he lived so far could not help reduce the burden of his life needs. Sometimes he is still often in trouble when he will pay for some sudden needs in his life.
"Hey. dude!" someone suddenly grabbed Justin's shoulder from behind. "What are you doing here?" ask the guy.
Justin turned his head and found Charlie smiling kindly looking at him. "I pay the rest of the dues!" justin replied briefly.
"Oh."
"Why?" ask Justin.
"What are your plans for tomorrow morning? It's Saturday tomorrow, so college is definitely off. How about we go to the bookstore?" take Charlie while looking at Justin with a big smile
Justin shook his head softly, "Can't, Charlie! I have to clean my house because tomorrow morning it's the only empty hour I have."
"Is that so?! All right, then." Charlie shook his shoulder. "How about it during the day?" continued.
"Work!" justin answered quickly. "I'll have to deliver some food at two in the afternoon. Did you forget?"
"Well?!" charlie was a little surprised. "Well, what about the afternoon?"
Justin just looked at Charlie with a flat expression in response. Seeing that Charlie's forehead immediately wrinkled, trying to translate the meaning of his best friend's gaze before finally his eyes rounded to look at Justin.
"Working too?" charlie looked at Justin in disbelief. "You're the delivery courier until the afternoon?"
Justin nodded. "of course. It could even be until eleven o'clock at night if I take overtime."
"Ah, there's no way we're going to the bookstore at night, the store's closing."
"If it opens too I still can't come. I work in a twenty-four-hour minimarket near the house on Saturdays and Sundays."
"That's right. You're really crazy for work. Do you want to get rich quick, huh?" charlie's Scolding
Justin chuckled small. "Want to get rich quick you said? Hear that! To eat just one day ahead of me I'll have to work hard today."
"At the same time you don't know me. From the beginning you must have known that I definitely would not be able to leave because I have a lot of side jobs." Justin continued.
"Yes, the problem is that tomorrow is Saturday, so I think you'll be off work tomorrow!"
"I'm working today to eat tomorrow, Charlie!" justin.
"But it-"
"And if I'm off to work, it's just like I'm on my lunch break that day, you know?" justin replied indifferently as he moved his feet away from his best friend.
"Hey, where are you going?" charlie exclaimed as he chased after Justin who started walking away from him. "Our class will start in fifteen minutes" he continued.
"I'm going to the cafeteria, I'm hungry!" justin said without looking and kept walking away.
"You haven't had breakfast?" charlie asked who was then answered nodding by Justin.
Charlie frowned in wonder. "How can you?"
Hearing that question Justin immediately flicked his steps. He turned his head towards Charlie then smiled stiffly while scratching his back neck.
He felt nervous because he knew that the answer he would give would definitely make his best friend was furious.
"i-it's. I..."
