Mr. Romanov drove his own car to his factory at low speed and seemed relaxed. Intentionally indeed, because at this time he just wanted to drive while enjoying the view of the city that he thought was extraordinary.
Along the way Mr. Romanov continued to circulate views, staring at the beauty of the city that he had left five years ago.
And suddenly he remembered, ten years ago, when he, his daughter and his son-in-law and grandchildren always spent the weekend together by circling the city in the afternoon. Their lives were very happy at the time.
But that happiness changes when he has to lose his son and daughter-in-law due to a single accident incident that befell them after they come home from a romantic dinner.
And after that everything really changed.
The death of his son and son-in-law left Mr. Romanov devastated, his family in disarray. Even the terrible events also began to change the behavior of his grandchildren. Charlotte Clinton, from a cheerful girl to a very reserved girl, was also very grumpy.
All sorts of ways Mr. Romanov has done so that the grandson can return cheerful, but he always fails. Until one day, things got better when he brought Alexander to the mansion and made his granddaughter have a friend until Charlotte finally seemed to live better.
And finally in his gratitude, Mr. Romanov let Charlotte and Xander always together, go to the same school until now, they also studied at the same place.
But as he grew older, Mr. Romanov increasingly realized that the grandson had turned into a person who was difficult to manage. Charlotte, she becomes a troublemaker girl who always does her best, is arrogant, and no one can fight or hold back anything that becomes her wish.
Mr. Romanov knew that it was all because he had always spoiled the girl since childhood. Yes, he did do that because he felt that the girl never got affection from her parents and made Mr. Romanov always spoil her.
It was because Mr. Romanov felt he could not give the affection Charlotte needed because he was too busy taking care of his business. So he chose to replace it by giving everything he had to Charlotte to keep the girl happy. That's what makes Charlotte a person who does her best and must always get what she wants.
But Mr. Romanov did not bother with it, he did not care if he had to give everything to Charlotte, as long as he could make his beloved grandson always live happily.
Mr. Romanov suddenly smiled happily at the thought of his two grandchildren who he thought were currently managing to live by being better. They have even managed to achieve many achievements in their respective fields even at their very young age.
Alexander, his eldest grandson got many achievements in the field of education and Charlotte managed to get achievements in the field of hobbies. Charlotte hardly ever used the money Mr. Romanov gave her because she had her own money and she felt very proud of it.
Moments after daydreaming the two grandchildren, Mr. Romanov looked at his wrist to check the clock. Mr. Romanov sighed softly when he realized that he was too late for his meeting.
"I'm five minutes late" he murmured slowly and began to increase the speed of his car. "May Mr. Sam hasn't arrived at the factory" he said expectantly.
Mr. Romanov then grabbed his phone from the pocket in his suit, pressed a few buttons on his phone, intending to call his partner to ensure the arrival of all asking to wait for his presence.
"Hello!" exclaimed his colleague who was across the phone right after he picked up a phone call from Mr. Romanov.
"Hello Mr. Sam!" mr. Romanov replied to his colleague in a friendly tone. He cleared his throat for a while before continuing the conversation. "Have you arrived at the factory?" tanyakanya.
"Yes sir, I have arrived." replied Mr. Sam
"I'm sorry, but it seems I'm a little late to get there."
Mr. Sam laughed crisply. "It doesn't matter sir, I also just got here."
"Alright, please wait for me for a moment. I think I'll be there in about ten minutes." explained Mr. Romanov.
"Yes, mr. Romanov. Don't worry, I really don't have a problem waiting here. You relax." said Mr. Sam again.
"Yes! Alright. Then I'll hang up now" said Mr. Romanov.
Mr. Romanov stared at the screen of his phone and then disconnected his phone. And because he was too busy with his activities, Mr. Romanov also lost focus. He did not even realize that suddenly at a lonely crossroad without traffic signs, a young man with his bicycle suddenly passed right in front of his car.
Mr. Romanov regained consciousness and immediately slammed his steering wheel to the left, trying to avoid a collision. But unfortunately, he failed and can be sure that the car he was driving had grazed the front tire of the bicycle owned by the young man.
And within seconds, Mr. Romanov immediately braked his car until it stopped a few meters from the location where he hit the young man.
"Gosh, what have I done?" mr. Romanov was really surprised. He sat glued while squeezing his car's driver. "I hit him! I just hit that young man."
Mr. Romanov immediately turned to the direction where he grazed the young man. His eyes were wide when he found the young man lying on the road. But that very second Mr. Romanov was able to breathe a sigh of relief as he watched the young man slowly get up and try to stand up.
Mr. Romanov sighed softly. In his heart he was very grateful because it turned out that the young man could still stand, meaning he did not do anything fatal.
"I could have killed the young man" murmured mister Romanov blaming himself.
Geck! Geck! Geck!
In the midst of the tense situation, suddenly there was a knock on the window glass from Mr. Romanov's car.
Hearing that, Mr. Romanov turned his head and found that the young man he had just hit was now standing right outside his car while continuing to knock on the window of his car. Then, carefully Mr. Romanov opened the door and got straight out of his car.
The young man was staring at Mr. Romanov while holding his right arm. Every now and then he was seen grimacing like he was trying to endure the pain, it seemed like his arm was injured.
"You don't"
"Is master okay?" the young man quickly interrupted Mr. Romanov. "Is your master okay?"
Mr. Romanov was aghast when he heard the question. Had he not misheard, this young man had just inquired about his circumstances. Wasn't it Mr. Romanov who had run over the young man. But why did the young man even ask how he was now?
"Master?" exclaim that young man.
"Yes?" mr. Romanov came to his senses from his daydreams and immediately replied in between his shock.
"Sa-I'm fine!" romanov replied awkwardly. "What's with your arm, why are you holding it like that? It looks like you're the one who got hurt."
The young man shook his head then smiled, ah no. He was grimacing pain rather, "No problem, sir. It seems like this is just a casual sprain."
Mr. Romanov looked at the young man doubtfully. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes sir!" replied the young man while nodding. "You're okay, then I'll go first, sir."
"Wait a minute" Mr. Romanov held the young man's arm slowly. "What if I take you to the hospital? I'm sure you must have been hurt."
The young man returned to shake. "No need sir. I'm okay."
"I'm forcing, come on!" take Mr. Romanov again.
"No sir." replied the young man shaking his head politely. "I can't."
"But why?" mr. Romanov stared in wonder. Somehow he became upset with the young man himself for always refusing to be taken to the hospital, even though his body was clearly injured.
The young man then pointed towards where he had been hit earlier, where his bicycle was still lying. "That's sir. Now I have to deliver the food package." he said.
Mr. Romanov turned his head towards the young man's index finger, staring at the food parcels that had been scattering on the asphalt.
"Sir, look at yourself, my food order has been spilled."
Hearing that explanation, Mr. Romanov was again surprised, "Yes, I-"
"So, because the food was spilled I had to go back to the restaurant where I worked, so I could trade it with a package that was still good first. If I go to the hospital now, I can be late to deliver the order. My customers will definitely wait a long time later." explained the young man.
"I can take you!"
"Will be bothered, sir." the young man shook his head. "I can do it myself."
"Oh.. Is that so?" mr. Romanov nodded in understanding even though he still felt guilty. "All right then!"
Mr. Romanov then spoke again. "What about the money? I admit that this accident occurred because of negligence that I did. And I will pay you in exchange for my carelessness." said Mr. Romanov, taking his wallet out of his pocket but his movement was immediately stopped by the young man's words.
"No! No sir, thank you." said the young man shaking with an awkward smile. "After all, it's also my fault for not looking left and right first at the crossroads."
"But I feel bad about your wounds."
"I'm sure I'm okay. I don't need the money or anything, sir." said the young man politely.
Mr. Romanov did not answer. He just looked at the young man with a difficult look.
"I'm sorry, sir!" said the young man politely then turned to head to his bicycle.
"Wait a minute!" mr. Romanov again held back the young man's departure.
The young man stopped his steps and immediately turned his head. "Yes sir?"
"Can I know your name?" ask Mr. Romanov curious.
The young man nodded. "I'm Justin, sir. Justin Kim." - Justin Kim."
"Justin Kim?" repeat Mr. Romanov make sure then smile.
The young man named Justin nodded.
"Alright, once again I'm sorry Justin" said Mr. Romanov who was immediately nodding by Justin.
"Then excuse me sir." said the young man for the umpteenth time, still in a polite tone and then turned to the place where his bicycle was.
Mr. Romanov silently watched the young man who was currently walking towards his bicycle, away from his car. He was really surprised why the young man did not ask for a dime of compensation for him, when it was clear that he had hit his bike earlier.
Ah, no wonder.
But, he was amazed.
Unknowingly master Romanov smiled slightly as he continued to stare at the young man from where he was standing at the moment.
It was seen that the young man was lifting his bicycle lying on the road and collecting some food packages scattered on the road, then returned to continue his journey.
Mr. Romanov was still silent in his place. He continued to watch the young man until he disappeared at the end of the road.
"The young... He's amazing" he murmured.
