Exactly at eleven p.m., the car that Xander was driving arrived at the main mansion. He did decide to go home an hour earlier than the initial agreement with Charlotte, because after all he felt Charlotte also could not continue the party because she was too drunk.

However, just before his car stopped in front of the mansion fence, he was already shocked by the appearance of his grandfather's car. He immediately remembered the previous days where the grandfather who found them when he returned secretly.

He was afraid that his grandfather was still waiting for them.

Imagine that, it would be like Xander turned back his car and went to their apartment only until the morning so as not to get a scolding from Mr. Romanov. But he felt it was the same as running away from responsibility.

Xander shook his head resignedly and undoed his intention to run away from the grandfather. Xander drove his car into the mansion's courtyard.

"Lottie we're here!" xander said right after he parked his car

Feeling unresponsive Xander then turned his head and found Charlotte who was asleep in the back seat of her car while hugging her expensive bag.

"Lottie!" call Xander again.

Charlotte still doesn't say. The girl was still sleeping soundly, she was not even bothered by the call from Xander and instead hugged her bag tightly.

Xander clucked, took the empty bottle he had drunk and smacked it several times into Charlotte's head until she woke up.

Sensing the blow to her head, Charlotte squirmed and Xander further strengthened his blow to Charlotte's head.

"Ouch... Xander!" erang Charlotte while rubbing her head that had just been hit by Xander with a bottle. "Ngapain elo hit me in the head anyway?"

"Let's wake up!" xander replied lightly while putting the empty bottle back next to him. "Lo kebo is bad."

"Wake up, don't have to hit dong!" charlotte protest. "My head gets hit so it gets dizzy."

Xander screeced. "Don't overdo it, it's just an empty bottle. Besides, your head is dizzy from drinking too much. Come on get up! We've arrived."

"Sad, basic!" grouse Charlotte.

Charlotte then went back to wriggling slowly, stretching her stiff body while yawning.

"Is this in the mansion?" Charlotte straightened her seat while rubbing her eyes and looking out the car window. "We've arrived?" said surprised.

Xander nodded. "Hm, I told you that we have arrived."

"Such a snap" Charlotte said as she removed her seatbelt and got out of the car and walked with a slight stagger about to enter the mansion.

Xander shut the car door. "Yes, I was speeding earlier, afraid of a sloth."

Charlotte nodded in understanding.

"Come, we have to get in before grandfather shows up!" charlotte hastened her pace.

Charlotte and Xander walked down the courtyard of the mansion about to enter the mansion until when they were about to climb the stairs, a sound from the direction of the garden flicked their steps.

"Where have you been?" exclaim Mr. Romanov while walking slowly from the direction of the mansion park.

"Grandfather?" Xander looked at Mr. Romanov in surprise.

Charlotte and Xander then looked at each other. I don't know when my grandfather was standing there. Maybe before they get home. Otherwise, how could he be in the garden area now without being seen by the two of them before

Mr. Romanov sighed and walked up to his two grandchildren with arms crossed backwards.

"Why are you coming home at this hour?" asked Mr. Romanov while looking at his two grandchildren in turn.

"Grandfather what are you doing here? Isn't this hour usually sleeping?" reply Charlotte, trying to shift the subject. "Did you not sleep as fast as usual tonight?"

"You're drinking again?" said Mr. Romanov who immediately looked annoyed at Charlotte and Xander.

Charlotte immediately regained her senses and closed her mouth. "That-that!"

"Who allowed you to drink again?" asked Mr. Romanov in a cold tone.

No one dared to answer. Charlotte and Xander were silent, bowing their heads as Mr. Romanov stared at them with fury.

Mr. Romanov then turned to Xander, looking at his eldest grandson sharply. "You're letting him into the nightclub again, Xander?"

Xander lowered his head and nodded. "Sorry grandpa! Charlotte was begging me, so I can't turn her down."

"Yes grandpa!" Charlotte nodded back. "I forced him. But grandpa's calm down, I'm the only one drinking, Xander's not at all."

Mr. Romanov stared in disbelief at the two grandchildren. Especially for Xander, his eldest grandson was completely trustless and unwilling to ban Charlotte when the girl did something wrong. His grandson even always obeyed and spoiled his sister.

"Don't you say you're going to the apartment? But what is this?" ask Mr. Romanov upset. "Wait a minute, did you guys lie to Grandpa?"

Xander nodded. "Sorry grandpa!"

"When are you going to apologize to Grandpa, Xander?" said Mr. Romanov sharply. "If you keep following Charlotte's will like this, it means you can't take care of her properly."

Xander didn't know what to answer. But he didn't have to answer anything. He's the wrong one here anyway. He's the eldest grandson, remember?

Mr. Romanov then resumed his sentence to nag and also advise Xander.

"Listen Xander! All this time, Grandpa only asked you to keep Charlotte and stay out of trouble. But it turns out for something this small you can't afford? You even went to lie to Grandpa!" said Mr. Romanov shaking his head.

He then breathed a rough breath. "Grandfather feels that if you keep this up it's the same way you can't be responsible for anything bigger."

Xander just kept his head down, while Charlotte looked at her older brother worriedly. Imagine, this is his fault. Hundred percent wrong. But why is it that only Xander gets scolding.

Charlotte was almost ready to defend her brother. But his movements stopped as Xander held back his arm. The young man smiled then shook his head slowly, signaling for Charlotte to not say anything.

Charlotte was upset.

Charlotte shut her mouth tight. His jaw hardened as it tried to contain his near-peaking anger. For some reason, he was angry and upset at himself.

Xander sighed slowly. "Ma-sorry grandpa, I-I"

"Stop apologizing, Xander!" xander's remark must again be cut off by Mr. Romanov. "I'm sorry I won't change anything unless you change it. So what Grandpa wants is proof of you, not an apology!"

"Grandfather!" Charlotte wants to protest.

"Shut up, Charlotte!" snapped mr Romanov. "This is your fault! So be quiet or grandpa will be a lot more angry than this." said Mr. Romanov firmly while Charlotte rolled her eyeballs, puffed up.

"Now quickly go to your rooms and cleanse yourself." mister Romanov ordered then firmly on his two grandchildren.

"Excuse me kek!" xander said politely after nodding obediently.

Meanwhile, Charlotte did not answer anything. And with quick steps, the girl walked first leaving Xander behind.

He was still upset by what had just happened.

After the departure of his two grandchildren, Mr. Romanov then sighed tiredly. "It seems they can't be together! Xander really spoiled her too much. And this is not a good thing."

"Xander will be the leader, meaning he should be able to be even more assertive!"
