Trapped in Love Miss Arogan
68.

"I beg you, sir. Don't report me to the police. Forgive my mistake yesterday, sir. I admit at the time that I ran away. But I promise you that I'll work more to pay your losses."

"What the hell is"

"I will reimburse the cost of damage to your clothes" said Justin Iirih increasingly lowered his face

Mr. Romanov looked at Justin with a look of wonder. He did not understand why the young man suddenly lowered his head and begged him like this?

And wait, he said it was his fault yesterday? What mistake he meant. He also said he would change the damage to clothes?

What Justin meant was a mistake he made a few days ago. During an incident where Justin accidentally spilled a drink on his shirt and suit. Is that really the problem he was referring to? But Mr. Romanov had even completely forgotten about the incident back then.

Even in hindsight, Mr. Romanov's mistake with Justin was even greater. Shouldn't it be Mr Romanov who knelt to him?

"You're this"

"I beg you, please don't report me." Justin clutched the end of his own shirt. "I beg you, sir. I'm-"

"Hey, Justin listen first"

"At least give me a chance and time so I can earn some money. After that, I can compensate you for all your losses. I beg you please don't report me."

Mr. Romanov sighed while shaking his head. He could only laugh amusedly at Justin's current behavior,

"Who would want to report you?" said Mr. Romanov smiling knot.

Justin was silent.

Justin raised his head. He glanced at Mr. Romanov, who was standing before him. Justin seemed to blink his eyes a few times while looking at the middle-aged man with a confused look.

"But. Aren't you-"

"Aren't you done talking?" cut Mr. Romanov quickly preventing the young man from begging as he did just a moment ago.

Justin who heard that stern sentence then lowered his head in fear. "Pardon me, sir..."

Mr. Romanov again let out a long sigh then stepped towards the nightstand in the corner of the room to fetch some drinking water.

"You sit down first! We won't talk if you're still on the floor like that." mister Romanov ordered flatly as he pointed to the chair Justin had sat on with his chin.

Justin nodded then quickly got up from his kneeling position and sat back down on the chair.

"What do you want to drink? Grandfather can ask the secretary who is outside to make it for you." asked Mr. Romanov.

Justin shook his head. "Ti-no sir, I'm not thirsty, thank you..."

"All right..." Mr. Romanov nodded in understanding and then poured mineral water into his glass. He sat back in his chair after putting a glass of water on his desk.

"Grandfather asked you to come here because you want to talk to you about something" said Mr. Romanov.

"What's the matter, sir?" justin asked for some reason.

"Grandfather! Didn't I tell you to call me grandpa?" protest mr Romanov.

"That's what I mean grandpa." Justin said awkwardly.

Mr. Romanov smiled as he realized how polite this young man before him was. 'He's really polite.' her inner self.

Mr. Romanov then opened one of the drawers on his desk and took out a brown envelope containing photographs of someone doing his daily activities.

"Look at this!" mr. Romanov's orders while thrusting a photograph at Justin. "Do you know who this is?"

Mr. Romanov's question left Justin frowning in confusion. He then grabbed the photo sheet and glanced at it and nodded.

"Sorry sir, but it seems to be me." Justin said in a doubtful tone. "This is my picture."

"If this one?" ask Mr. Romanov again while showing another photo sheet. "Who is this young man?"

Justin looked back at the photo then tried to look more observant again at the photo meant by his former superior. Instantly his eyes were perfectly rounded.

"It's me too, sir."

"To be precise, this is a photo of you in an accident some time ago" Mr. Romanov explained.

"Yes right, but this, b-how can it be?!" justin exclaimed and the next second Justin looked at Mr. Romanov with a shocked expression. Justin could remember everything. "Gosh, so that's when"

Justin looked at Mr. Romanov in disbelief. So this former employer is the same person that hit him. How could Justin not recognize him?

And is this the reason why when he saw it at that time Justin felt familiar with the face of Mr Romanov?

"Yes, it was me." said Mr. Romanov softly, smiling with grace. "You were in an accident at the time. And the wheels of your bike in unison, the food you're carrying is a mess, you're hurt."

Mr. Romanov then rested his back on the back of the chair behind him. "And the one who hit you is me!"

Justin swallowed his saliva violently. Even though he already knew everything he was shocked when he heard Mr. Romanov say it directly to him. Justin didn't know what to respond to at the moment, his tongue was twisted and he was at a loss for what to say.

Mr. Romanov sighed, "You've seen it for yourself. That's the area where a car grazed you a while ago. This photo was taken from a piece of cctv near his CPI."

Justin stared fixedly at Mr. Romanov and then looked back at the photo sheet in his hand. Yes, this was indeed the same area as the incident back then. But after that what? Justin did not know what to respond with about the matter. Justin had even forgotten about the incident and only considered it an ordinary accident.

Seeing no response from Justin other than a shocked expression, Mr. Romanov smiled.

"I was the one who hit you. And when we met at my cafe, I initially thought that you were pretending to forget. But I don't think there's any benefit you can get from that" Mr Romanov laughed. "And I finally realized that you really forgot that I hit you."

Justin did not answer. He couldn't even think much at the moment, everything felt so complicated for him. So many questions were popping up in his brain right now.

Mr. Romanov closed both his eyes. "I don't know why this happened. But I felt so guilty after that."

"Master shouldn't feel guilty to me like that. It's not entirely your fault, sir, I'm also guilty of not looking around."

"No. It was my fault." said Mr. Romanov.

Justin was silent.

Mr. Romanov smiled wryly at Justin's inertia. "I can't give you anything in exchange, Justin! Since yesterday I've been thinking about how to make amends for you. And I don't think there's any way I can make it up to you. This is all I can do…"

After saying that Mr. Romanov took out a thick envelope and handed it to Justin.

"Is this sir?"

"It's twenty million dollars, for you!"

Justin rounded, "What?"

"What's wrong?" mr. Romanov asked in wonder.

"Master, no! I can't accept this?" justin pushed back the envelope. "I have no problem with that, sir. I seriously. You don't have to do this."

Mr. Romanov shook his head, "You have to accept it. And I forced it!"

"But sir-"

"Justin, this is all you can do to make amends for your guilt. Accept this money or grandfather will continue to feel guilty for you."

Justin let out a sigh of resignation, "I'll take this money. But just to make your guilt go away."

"Yes," Mr. Romanov nodded, "And one more, after this you should go back to work in the cafe again.

"I'm working again, sir?"

Mr. Romanov smiled. "Yes! You can work again at the cafe and Grandpa will tell Harry about this soon."

Justin smiled, "Thank you, sir"

"But there are conditions!" mr. Romanov said that Justin's smile had disappeared.

"Condition?"

"You come to my grandfather's house tomorrow afternoon at six in the afternoon,"

"Home master? But for what?" Justin frowned

"Eat dinner! Grandfather invited you to dinner together at grandfather's mansion!"

"But tomorrow I have to work!"

"You'll be working in a cafe again. It means you have to stop working somewhere else, too."

"But-"

"Grandfather will wait for your arrival tomorrow." said Mr. Romanov expectantly.

Mr. Romanov then took his wallet. He is seen taking out a piece of his business card and handing the business card to Justin.

"This is my business card! There's my full address and contact information. You call me tonight after work!"

Justin grabbed the business card and read the contents. He looked back at Laurent. "I called this number, sir?"

"Yes!"

Justin nodded in understanding, "Alright!"

Mr. Romanov smiled at Justin. "All right, we have a deal! As agreed. You come to my house tomorrow afternoon at six and after that you can go back to work. Since we're so close, then you can go home now!"

Justin nodded again, though he hesitated. And after that conversation Justun immediately withdrew to Mr. Romanov and left the room. But just as he was about to step in, Mr. Romanov called out to him.

"Justin!"

Justin looked over, "Yes, sir?"

"You forgot your money!" Mr. Romanov pointed to the envelope with the money.

Justin smiled awkwardly and took the money again. Once again Justin stepped away and walked away. But when he got to the doorway, Mr. Romanov called him back.

"Justin!"

Justin halted his steps and turned his head once more at the middle-aged man, waiting for the Romanov master to continue his sentence.

"Remember! Six o'clock tomorrow afternoon!" exclaim Mr. Romanov reminded.

Justin nodded his head understandingly then stepped out of the room.
